Have you ever heard of Pickleball?

Well here at Wynmoor we have tennis courts and Pickleball courts. I was talking with someone a couple of days ago. She was asking me about pickleball. I told her I know where they played and really don't know that much about it. So yesterday on my way to hit some tennis balls. I stopped by to watch for a couple of minutes. If you look they are using wood paddles. Plus the ball is the size of a grapefruit. The courts are a lot small than tennis court.
Okay now you know as much as I do about Pickleball. Not to much.

This is a web site my cousin made up yesterday. The story is, she has a older (10 years) cat, Gunther. I know he has problems with his sugar. So my cousin is trying to rise some funds to take care of him. Hey if she gets it great. There might be someone out there that loves cats as much as she does?

Had a chance to spend a day with a young lady

This is Glenis. I meet her on the Tri Rail about two or three  months ago. We have been staying in contact by texting. I have been up in West Palm Beach a couple of times to have lunch and just hang out a little. She has been living up there for the last three years or so. A couple of weeks ago I drove up and brought her down south here to look for a car. That day we looked at about six or seven dealerships. For the money she had, really nothing any good. But the next day her boss took her to another dealership up that way. She found the car she wanted. So yesterday she wanted to take me for a ride in it. Plus we had to go to Miami to see her old boss and wife. The reason was she has been staying in contact with them since she has lived here. Drove down here and then there and did some shopping and had lunch. Then we went over to her friends home and I had a chance to meet them. They are all Latin dissent. Speaking Spanish. Sat around and helped her pack up some stuff she wanted to ship to her family in Venezuela. We left there and found the shipping company about three miles away from her friend's home.

Okay now look at the signs. I see everything is in Spanish, except the camera one. Okay I guess they only think English speaking people will steal from them?

Okay this is the only package she is shipping. This alone cost $58.90 just to ship to Venezuela. Wow to me that is crazy. Shipping stuff to the Bahamas, one pallet will cost you about $200.00. That is a pallet?
Afterwards she dropped me off and she went to work. It really was a enjoyable day.

This is at our theater here at Wynmoor. I know I have shared picture like this before. This place was empty. I did talk with some people a couple of days ago about the movie. They said they have seen Cinderella many different times. Why would this be any better? I just said, hey $2.00 bucks?

Now I did learn something about where she got her name. I am sorry but like what others were saying about seeing Cinderella. I ever knew this. Her stepsisters named her that after she got some cinders in her hair and on her face. Maybe it as always been that, but I did learn something last night. I enjoyed it and they even have a new Frozen movie with it. Called Frozen Fever. I thought it was kinda neat short story.

I had a chance yesterday to spend some time with family

This is Jon and Debbie, She is my cousin for over 60 years+

I was talking with a friend back in Fort Lauderdale. She was telling me to make sure I get a picture of Mickey along side of me. She was really telling me to take the time and go to Disney World, while up that way. But not this time.

Going into Cracker Barrel really brings back many memories. Just looking at these POPS. Thinking how long ago that was?

Then you come back to realty and wow they made this Coke just for me? I really wanted a Zero, but I will get this one for today.

Okay what is going on? First of all who are these people in this picture? Bonita, Debbie, Greg and Jon.  I drove up to to Orlando on Sunday night after work. Got up there and spent the night in Deb and Jon's room. Really was kind of nice place. I even had my own bed. I just knew I took a shot of the room below.

There are two beds in this room.

Okay these people are my relatives too. Peggy and Jeff. I have not seen her for over 40 years or more. She was telling me we both were at a wedding a long time ago. The sad part is we don;t remember when or even who's. But ad least she remember me. She looked at me and said you sure look like your dad. I have been told that many times. Not sure if that is good or bad? I know it is good. These two live up near Detroit, (northern area) of  Michigan. They were telling us all about their kids and grand kids. They drove down on Saturday and are renting this real nice four bed house in Davenport, Fl. Which is just north on 27 and Rt 4. This place is so beautiful and roomy. They have everything they need to stay here for a week.

This is back at the hotel Radisson in Kissimmee, Fl. What a wonderful place to take a vacation. Jon was telling me how much he was spending to stay here. $117.00 for two nights. Now he has not gotten out yet? He was telling me that some of these places have other charges? Not sure how but we will see today when they go back home to Largo, Fl.

This was our last place to just sit and relax and wind down a little. Then Peggy and Jeff had to leave for the airport to go pick up their children, that were flying in for the week to stay with them. Saying our good byes and just a wonderful time with family. I got up and left too, I was thinking everyone has plans for Tuesday already, so I will just drive back and go for a nice bike ride and maybe even hit some tennis balls over the wall? Prayerfully not.?

I just got this from a web site called Believe.com

And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors.” Mathew 6:12 NAS As Christians, we must not forget a key element of the journey we navigate: forgiveness. Jesus taught us to forgive others just as God forgives us. The psalmist recognized this: “For Thou, Lord, art good and ready to forgive. And abundant in love and kindness to all who call upon Thee. “(Psalm 86:5) Notice that little word 'all.' In evaluating our lives and seeking the Lord for transformation, forgiveness is the key. Like the Lord, be ready to forgive all. Blame is a destructive force, alienating us from God and others. It’s an obstacle to spiritual growth. It keeps us in a prison, lost in a world of judgment, negativity, and pain. Forgiveness is that key unlocking the door to life, healing, growth. Only we have control of that key. Christ died that we might be forgiven and have life. He asks us to die to self, and put on compassion, kindness, and humility to forgive others. (Colossians 3:12-13) Are there family, friends, or neighbors you need to forgive? Are you willing to allow past hurtful words or deeds to poison your spiritual life, to keep you from all of God's blessings? Are you willing to be held captive in the prison of unforgiving? Pray for the Lord to soften your heart, to infuse His love and kindness within you. Pray for that person or persons. God will soften your heart and reveal a new picture, that you may take that key and be set free! “And be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God forgave you in Christ.” (Ephesians 4:32)

I really enjoy this web site, it gives you some really good articles on how us Believer's are to live our lives and how to just enjoy life as a Christian. Please check this web site out.

Well look at how I have worn this ball down

I am sorry but I went out again yesterday and the wall won 5 times. So I did a lot better. One thing is I lost my ball. So remember all those other ones I found. I just took one of them. Hey folks, it really has been some fun just hitting a ball againest a wall.

I am running out of time this morning so.You know I need to getting going to work this morning.  This is the new building for 4 KIDS. Calvary has been renting this place out for over the last 15 years. Now 4 Kids will be moving here and this will be their main office space. So yesterday they had a little get together to show it off and explain about all that will bee happening to make this place their new home. I just drove over to see the place. The get together was going to happen at 4:30pm. So I know I would need to be doing something else at that time. I will keep you in the loop on how it is going.

Okay do you know the last time I hit a tennis ball?

Well if this picture tells you it has been many years. The first ball I hit ended up here. Over the wall.

If the wall was another 6" I would do better. It was kinda fun. I was on the other side many more times. But it felt good to run and try to hit it back and forth. The sad part is the wall won almost every time.

It was even fun looking for my ball. I only brought one ball with me Thinking I can only hit one at a time any way. So take a look at how many more people of gone over the wall.

You can see the bushes I needed to go look for it. Maybe they need to put a up another smaller wall behind it? It really felt good to be able to hit it and return it. Maybe in a couple of weeks I will call you out and challenge you to a real game????? Maybe not?

These are the courts at Wynmoore where I stay at. Boy why would I give up such a nice place? So today I am going to go hit less over the wall, prayerfully.

Last night I had a chance to see another great movie.

I was thinking do I really want to see a movie about art? Well I can tell you this, it was about art plus the history that happen during World War II. I knew there were means things Hitler men did. But as I watch this, it brought tears to my eyes.
Just think you live is a nice place and have many things. Then men come in and take everything you own away. You have worked hard to get these things. It has been years to accomplish all you have. In a day or so, have nothing again. Plus many of the Jews were killed too.
This is a true story and think everyone should take the time to see it themselves.
The real neat thing is it only cost me $2.00.

On Saturday we flew back home. Sept. 5thn 2026

Okay I got up early and took a drive. I went to Dunkin Donuts for 6 donuts and a couple of coffees. Oh, I got a couple of items for Billy. B...
