As Saturday was winding down. Go watch the sun set.

As I was standing there looking into the sun set. I just was intrigued. I took about 20 shots of it.

It really kept my attention. The view was just breath taking. I did take pictures down on Key West sunset. That was Friday evening. But they are in Janice's phone. When she gets back this way I will down load them again and share with you. There was Street Performers and just some neat shots.

As we were walking by this boat in a yard, I just really thought it was beautiful too.
It is amazing how fast time is going. It is Friday morning now and the week-end is upon us again.

We are moving right along, it is Saturday.

I got up early on Saturday and went down to the club house. As I looked out and saw a beautiful sunrise. I am very blessed to be able to be there and just enjoying everything about the Keys.

Well now is the time to see if I am over my fear of kayaks, you know rolling over and not able to get back in.
So we rode our bikes over to Janice's sister's home, in the park here. That is where she is storing her kayaks, for now.

Well I can tell you this, I really enjoy the paddling around and the fear was there but, not to bad It was a good fear. We went along the bank and it was shallow. We even rode into the mangroves and I jumped out to see it I could climb back in. I did it. Next time I will try in deeper water. To see if all the Youtube videos I saw, work. I really am looking forward in getting my kayak out and trying it again.
I wish I brought along my water proof camera. I left it in the truck. Then after wards found out the battery was dead any way. So next time I will be ready. We rode for about two hours and got back to her sister house. Then had to squirt the kayaks off of the salt water.

I really could not see what I was taking of. But it came out okay.

After that, it was pool time.

It was still early in the afternoon. So this was pretty dead. But it sure was beautiful.
As the day went on just was relaxing all day long.
Folks it is so beautiful and peaceful, down here. But as my time id winding down, I will be leaving the next day to get back home.

This is still Friday afternoon.

As Janice was driving I noticed that my phone battery was running low. So I tried to charge it up and make it through the evening. But that didn't happen.

After we parked on Whitehead Street. We found a parking space. For 4 hours it cost $16.00. But it was worth it. As walking towards Mallory Square. We passed this statue of the Sailor and Young Nurse kissing in (New York City). I have seen I have seen these statues at other big cities. I even think I saw one on the west coast when I was with Don? What this is a statue of these two kissing. The point of the whole thing is. Right after World War II was done. A guy from Time Magazine took a picture of these two people kissing in New City. It has been a symbol of the end of World War II.

As we were walking I saw all these dollar bills hanging from ceiling in this one bar.

Janice was telling me about this key lime store. Kermit's So we stopped in and they had all kinds of free samples. Cookies, candy and muffins and anything like that had key lime in it.

This guy in the light green hat, is Kermit himself. He was walking his dog in the park there. I wish I took a picture of the dog, he or she was a beautiful beast.

I guess we were walking along the Water Front Wharf on the north side of the key.

It was getting time for dinner and I know the kids really enjoyed this place before. The reason I say that is I heard Conley asking his grandma, can we eat at the Conch Republic. So we walked in and had a wonderful meal there. There was even a kids menu. This is were my battery on my phone went dead. So I asked Janice if I could take pictures with her phone? She handed it over to me and I took many more pictures.
We walked around a couple of shops and looked at tourist things. You know T shirts and hanging things.
As the evening was winding down, I notice her phone was about to die too.

I pulled out my phone, to see if there was one more picture in her to take? It worked and this is the most popular tourist spot. Sloppy Joe's Bar.
I got back to the rental house and tried to down load the pictures I took with Janice's phone. Then e mail them to myself. But it didn't work. So when Janice gets back from there I will try again.
Remember now this is still Friday. There is still two more days on my vacation.

This I Friday morning, driving to the JUMPING BRIDGE.

We did have to park the car and do a little walking to get to it. But it was worth the walk.

I am so glade that we obey the rules??? Hey I thought about jumping off, BUT then I remember I am not as young as I use to be. Plus the Lord has given me wisdom to know what or not to do. I really kinda still wanted to.

Okay this is Rachel, Jazmyn Conley and Grandma  Janice. Rachel, is a friend of the grand children. I guess they have known each other for many years.

This gentlemen came with three children. They live in Key West, he told me. This guy was jumping more than the kids were. He was doing flips and just being a kid himself.

As we were getting ready to leave. Three more students showed up. They were even more daring.

As we were walking back to the car, I saw this drive way. I really thought that was kinda neat to use boat rows for a entrance. As we left there, I asked if we would like to go to the pool and hang out there? Janice and I went and just hung out at the pool. It really was refreshing. During the time at the pool, the children went back home and got cleaned up and Rachel's grandma drove them to Key West, they went to the movies. After the pool got home and cleaned up and drove to Key West. I am sorry to say my phone was about to die, battery. So I do have a couple of pictures of Key West. But I used Janice's phone for pictures. I tried to down load them before I left to come home, but they didn't make. I will share some I have tomorrow.

You can see the pool was pretty much empty. Even more relaxing.

Friday morning, what beautiful sunrise.

This is looking out from the club house of this park.

As we rode around on the bikes. I was looking at different things about the park. First of all there are no like car tags like I have on my home back in Fort Pierce. You know when you have a car or truck on the road, every year you have to renew the tag? Well here it looks like it is a permanent tag.

Do you see the tag in the lower part of the window?

This use to be Stephanie's home here. She sold this this fist part of the year.

There are many home different style home in here. From the real old models to the brand new ones.

Here is one being built. I took a lot more pictures of homes, but it takes for ever down load them. So after I get home I will share many more.
As today is Sunday, I will be having breakfast with Janice's daughter and son in law plus the kids. Then I will be heading out to get back to home. So prayerfully that will happen by His grace.

I am on my way to Key West.

Well I started out early on Thursday morning. Traveling along pretty good.

As you pull into Florida City this is the sign you are looking for. But you still have over 120 miles left to go.

Going along US 1 there are these blue walls along the way. I was told they are here to keep the animals and crocodiles from crossing the highway. It was funny when I was stopped to get gas at Race Track. I was texting the family I was coming down to see. Janice and her grand children. Well she wrote back and said I will be hitting the Blue Road. I driving along and looking for Blue Road. I got down here and she told me that they call this area the Blue Wall Road.

Well I got here and it really is like Paradise. I took this picture later on during the dog walk at night. But now you see where I am.

After I got here, Janice and her grand children, Jasmin and Conley. We went for a bike ride around the park to show me all the neat things there are to do. Plus this way I will not get lost so easily

This is the place that Janice is renting for two weeks. The funny thing is Janice and her family have been coming down here since the 80's. One of her daughters, Stephanie, use to own a home down here, for 4 years or so? But as Stephanie has gotten married this last January. They decided to sell her place and buy a home in Vero Beach, Florida. So as Janice use to come down here two or three times a years to just enjoy the Keys life. Oh Janice's has a sister, Joyce, that own a place down here too. They have had this place since he 80's. They were suppose to be coming down here during this last week or so. But they have been traveling around the states for a few months in a RV. They will be back down here next week or so.

The pool was closed for repairs so we went down to the small cove and went swimming there.

On the way back I noticed this neat sign. It looks like they took old license plates and made up this sign. If you notice they are all Michigan.
Okay this is Thursday and I am here until Sunday morning.
There is a lot to see and I will be sharing many pictures down the road.
May you day be a blessed as mine is. He is SOOOOOO, good to me.

On Saturday we flew back home. Sept. 5thn 2026

Okay I got up early and took a drive. I went to Dunkin Donuts for 6 donuts and a couple of coffees. Oh, I got a couple of items for Billy. B...
