We drove up to Melbourne, Florida. It took us about 1hour 10 minutes Going to see, The Light Fest, 2020.

As we drove in, this is a state park (Wickham) that is what Google calls this park. 

Hey got in and had to do some walking. Went though this tunnel of lights. Then saw, looking like stables. Inside of them there were some staging of Christmas things. 

This area was all small scale towns. I think H scale? 

There was many little buildings and people and all kinds of neat things to see. 

Hey when I was younger, I set up a H scale train set and had all kinds of buildings and green grass as the floor. I had trees and even had a tunnel and bridge on a 4' X 8' piece of plywood. 

I stored it under my bed. But that was when I was much younger. 

So this brings back many memories and good times in my life. 

Okay now we get to look around here and then start walking. 

Walked back though the tunnel of lights and started checking out all the light displays.

We really need him to come back for the next four years.

We had a chance to take a ride south. West Palm Beach.

We were invited to see a Christmas play 

The Gospel According To SCROOGE. 

We know a couple that are very much  involved at  this church. (Community Of Hope) 

It is Tom and Jeanne Scott. We have known these two many years now. The sad part is they are calling it quits. This is going to be there last year, doing this play. 

I think they told us this is there 10th year. 

 

It really was done very well and the story line was fantastic.

 As the play was over, Jeanne and I went up and talked with Jeanne and Tom and just thanked them for asking us to come and see it. 

Folks each and everyone of us, all have different gods, in our lives. 

My prayer is that your number ONE IS GOD HIMSELF. 

We can go back in time and see we all have been Scrooge's one time or other. I know I have been down the road a couple of times. Thinking money money and more money will solve all my problems. 

NOT AT ALL, Jesus is the answer and He is right a long side of you right now. 

Praise Him and thank HIM TODAY ++++++

Now want to clean up this area.

I am not one to weed. So I cleaned up around the two small trees there. They belong to Jeanne sister, Dannie. Hopefully she will dig them up and take them home, this week-end. 

I did spray Round Up and now need to piut down some plastic to try to keep the weeds out. 

I would love to finish this up, BUT mulch is not on sale YET. 

So for right now I will just let this alone until it is.

There is this place called UP (United Against Poverty)

I heard about the UP store about three years ago. One of the folks, Rosy that live in Spanish Lakes, told me about this store. You are only aloud to make less than $19,000 a year. Well at first I would go there almost every week to see what they had and what I don't need. 

Just walking around Walgreens, I saw this candy for sale. 

As Jeanne and I are trying to save money, we go here maybe once a month or so. Okay the last time there I saw candy for $1.99 a box. I bought one. 

So how can I go wrong. When I see it for sale at $9,99 a box? 

Okay folks I know this is starting to wear on us. 

About the election. But they are still saying we still have a shot about President Donald Trump. 

All I ask is keep on saying a prayer or two for all that is going on. 

All I know is I don't want to live in a country that as chanced to socialism. 

It really does stretch my faith more than I like. 

But we know WHO IN COTROL, JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. 

 

I believe I have finished the front of the house, with Christmas Decorations.

I think we did good this year. We put up some more since my last blog. 

Not sure why the picture blurry. But I think it looks great. Merry Christmas to our neighborhood. 

 

Hey we woke up cold!!!!!

This is our temp this morning in our house. WOW 66. I know it is not on heat.

Which Jeanne is very happy about, she just loves the cold weather and lower temps. 

Out in our screen room is the temp at 6:30am this morning. 

Folks Jeanne loves the cold temps. I am not to excited about cold weather, that is why I moved to Florida and then lived in Nassau, Bahamas for those 9 years.

 By looking at the weather station. The temps are coming up tomorrow. 75 the high.

Folks I am still praying for our President Donald Trump to be our next President for the next 4 years. 

 

Things to do around the Fort.

The reason I say the FORT. Jeanne and other around here, when talking about Fort Pierce, they say the FORT. Short cut, I guess??? 

This is Santa's Christmas Tree Village. The real funny thing is, Jeanne has lived in this town for over 50 years and never heard of this place. 

We asked one of the worker there, How long has this place been doing this? I think she told us 30 years or so. It is not on a main road here in Fort Pierce. It is less than 8 minutes away from where she was raised. Well we are here and it is a neat place. Everyone is walking around and just enjoying the view. 

This little boy was scared, of the Mechanical Santa.  I walked over there and pretty much thought the same thoughts. 

The prices start out around $75. and go up. This is the tree Jeanne wanted us to get. NOT. 

We have now 4 Christmas trees around our house. 

I was like WHAT $500.00 for a Christmas TREE??? 

This is the area where they bring the tree and cut the end off and put it into a bag and load it on top of your car or truck. 

                                 As you walk in you see this beautiful old International Truck. 

This was very nice and relaxing. We walked and looked and even got some Hot Cocoa. Plus Jeanne wanted some popcorn. It was enjoyable. Just trying to get into the Christmas SPIRIT.

Please enjoy life, we really don't know how long we will be on this earth. So enjoy family and friends. 

Praise HIM all day and and just thank Him for what you have today. LIFE. 

We still have folks fighting to keep our President Donald Trump.

We saw this guy a couple of days out here,, Wednesday Then on Saturday I needed to get back up in Vero Beach area again. He was there again. 

Folks the battle is not over YET???

Okay we are having our own Thanksgiving.

Well about a week or so, Jeanne and I were talking about making our own turkey and fittings. This way we would have some left overs and just enjoy a great home cooked meal. 

Oh I went to do some shopping and Jeanne called me and told me not to get up set. Okay I will bit? She told me that she invited her son and his family over for Thanksgiving dinner. 

I got a little up set, but as I was driving back home I realize how much family should be part too.

 I sure missed seeing my family this year. I did ask them what they were doing for Thanksgiving? They all told me that they would stay home and do their own ting. The reason is because of the Covid-19 

I wished them all a great time and hope to see them soon. 

I did take a couple of pictures of the dinner table and everyone there. But they were so blurry. 

Okay the dinner when well and we all had some fun getting caught up. 

BUT this morning I went to put Jeanne's coffee in the micro -wave and I found these in there. 

We forgot them and even the cranberry sauce too. 

But it sure was a good time and great food. 

I really hope and pray everyone out there had a nice holiday.

We need to remember WHO IS IN CONTROL???

This was our Thanksgiving Day.

We were invited to Jeanne's nephew's(Bo's) home for dinner. Not the normal Turkey Dinner??? 

No they wanted a SEAFOOD BOIL. It was tasty and very well done with all the fixings. 

This is our family. Kaden,(Kistna son)  Jake,(Jeanne's son)  My LADY, Jeanne, Kistna(Jake's girl friend) and her daughter Cashlin. 

Even there was Tucker the lab. Very friendly and loves to play around. But very serious about food. 

The boys playing with fire. Dustin, Bo and Jake. The fire took about a couple of hours to get going. Bo ran back and forth finding things to burn. But at the end the fire was a blazing. 

Hey our evening came and we went back home and Jeanne tried her pumpkin pie and it was bedtime.
