This is Tuesday and Wednesday. Pretty much stayed around the house. Jeanne was working.

On Tuesday evening Jeanne grilled some steaks and just a relaxing evening. 

On Wednesday morning I went and helped Jeanne with something at school, then came home and asked what would you like today to do??? So, I thought maybe the Jetty would be really nice this morning. 

You can see how our beaches are so gone. The tides and the higher tides have been pulling all the sand out and destroying them. 

Still was a beautiful day. 

Got home and I went back to school and helped Jeanne get out of there and headed back home. 

As we driving home Jeanne got a phone call from Micheal. (her niece) She was telling Jeanne that Payson (daughter) won all four (4) Counties Award. The sale of her cow would be at 7pm this evening. That sounds great, we get to go to the Fair and see her and the family will be there too for support. 

This was the first cow out for Auction. Boy she was huge and heavy. I think she weighted 1300 pounds? 

This is our grandniece (Payson) You can see how she was trying very hard to pull it. 

But this cow won in all four (4) counties. Beautiful and massive too. I think 1225 pounds) 

 

Oh, I guess I have been spelling her name incorrectly. PAISYNNE.  Sorry, I am not a correct speller much. Oh, this is her brother LEIGHTON. 

This is where they kept there two cows at during the time at the fair. 

Afterwards we all just started walking around to see what kind of food there is? 

They always have different kinds of people acting as statues. 

We just stopped to rest a few minutes. Oh, this is Jeanne (wife) Don and his wife Meg. 

I saw this flag, it sure looks like our neighbor's dog Smokey. 

I think we walked the whole fair and Don was somewhat impressed on how big it was. 

I think Jeanne and I got a funnel cake, corn dog and I know there was something else. Don got curry fries. It was a great evening. I know I was very tied at the end of the day. I think Jeanne drove us home. 

Folks I have been so busy (Being, Under< Satan, Yoke) I have been trying to post our time on my blog and have been running out of time to read my Bible, POOR EXCUSE. 

I will go out and read it now. 

I love you all and please don't get sidetrack like I do pretty much everyday.

Okay, I needed to drive down to Fort Lauderdale, I had to get some paperwork form the county.

So, we had to park at a parking lot garage. So, we are here, why not walk around and check this area out. It has been a while since I have been in this area. Riverwalk. So just started next to where the office build is and headed south to the river. 

We started going along the river heading east. Folks this place has gotten so much better than the last time I was down here. (2004) I used to ride my bike down here and ride along the shore. I don't remember the beauty before. They have really cleaned up this area and it sure was so nice and relaxing too.  

The buidling you are looking at is the air vent for the tunnel below us. If you read the following pictures you can see what this is. 

Then dug this tunnel out many years ago, it's US 1. I think this is the only tunnel in Florida. 

Now my crew is looking at where to go next. 

We heard some people talking about a ferry that is free and will take you back west and drop you off. So we waited about 5 minutes and boarded the ferry. 

While on there the gentleman explained a few house and buildings to make it like a tour guild. 

That is the ferry we rode back to the parking lot. It really was nice and the cost is FREE. But he asked for a tip. So, we gave him something. 

It's kind of hard to see, but there is a gentleman playing his piano. He kept playing the same lyrics, but I think he was blind and looked like he wasn't doing well. So, he had a tip jar, next to him. I hope folks gave to him. 

I think this area; there was signs on trees and the area itself. 

We are back where we started out at. headed towards the car and left. Now we will be going to Char Hut, my favorite place to get a hamburger plus onion rings. 

Now this picture shows the Old Riverwalk Area. We didn't stop here. We are getting very hungry and want to get back home before dark. 

Folks I didn't take the time to read my Bible. I am sorry for that. 

I am trying so hard to keep up on everything that is going on at school and around the house too. 

Just to let you know Jesus Christ LOVES YOU VERY MUCH. 

Just have to ask Him into your heart and He is there. 

Thess guys are just reminders that He is with you each and every day. Just trust in HIM TODAY. 

I try each day to hand some of them out to whoever is willing to take He. 

What I see on the news and just so much happening around the world, we all need PEACE OF MIND. 

He Jesus, will give it to you. JUST ASK HIM INTO YOUR HEART PLEASE

 

 

My best friend and his wife drove down here to our home and spent a week with us.

These are my friends Meg and Don. They live up north and needed to get away from the crazy cold weather that has been happening even down here. Two times this Winter we had a freeze. Just before they came down, I had to pick up all my wife's delicate plants. (orchids are the main one). We have a barn like and a screen room that I move them into. So, far I believe they all made it those freezes. 

Okay back to my friends, they drove in on Friday evening and were somewhat hungry for something to eat. I am not sure what we ate, but it was a time to talk about their trip down and what they would like to do, while here. 

I am not sure where this is, but you can see a beautiful rainbow.

From here we headed south to Stuart.

Got down here and parked and walked around and stopped in different shops and food places. 

This is right on the Indian River (Inter Costal Water Way) I think they just finished up having a band play some music and I know there would have been dancing too. 

Here is the band packing things back up. 

We were talking about getting some ice cream and her we are. The place is called Kilwins. Jeanne and Don went to Google and found out this store has a chain of them around. 

We were getting ready to leave and I saw this young lady making Waffle Bowls. I thought that was kind of neat. 

We popped back in our car and started heading back home.

It was really nice to show Stuart off a little and needed the walk too.  

Today I have been reading Book of Amos. Wow, I am not sure if you have ever read this book in the Bible. But folks this is telling of the future of Israel and looking at the news, it might be happening right now. I have only read the first two chapters, but it sure is getting intents. 

Please don't watch the news every minute there is. The reason I say this is life to short and while watching the news you might think it will help you understand what is going on but think about how it can waste your life away, there really isn't anything you can do to stop what is happening. So, please just ask Jesus Christ into your heart and ask Him to help you thru the day. 

He loves you VERY MUCH. 

 

This restaurant just opened up about two months. It's at Jenkins and Orange Ave. (FORT PIERCE)

Jeanne and I are not into death posters. But I saw a video on this place last week and Jeanne and I have talked about coming here, one day. We are here and ready to see what happens. 

Folks this building has been here for many years. Jeanne has told me stories about this place when she was a kid. It was called The Zoo. What she has told me it was a rocking place to get drunk. 

My dad would call this place gin mill. 

Our waitress's name is Julie. The way she was talking she has put a lot into this place and just trying to make it customer friendly and inviting. The last place I think they wanted it to be a gin mill too. 

Dry Martini. Folks since I have lived here in Fort Pierce there has been three different owners and just trying to make a buck. 

Well, we listened to our waitress about what to order and it looks great. 

This is called Trio Fajitas $26.00. It's for two. 

It was delicious, Jeanne and I really did enjoy the food and the atmosphere. 

When we were talking with Julie, I asked her what does this name mean? 

She told me Young Hard Worker. 

I am not sure if this is correct or not. The reason I looked it up on Google and tells me some different. 

But like I said the food was great and Jeanne really enjoyed the music and just liking how it was laid out and very friendly atmosphere. 

Okay I have some friend coming down from Baltimore this weekend and we will be stopping by here again. 

When I see these magazines ORANGE PEEL MEDIS FL.COM. I took a picture of it but it has not downloaded into my account yet. I like to bring them home and reading the jokes they are always clean and sometimes I just don't get the joke.
