We are walking around Savannah, GA.

Okay these guys are doing the electric work. This is Laura's guy to do work around her house and what ever else is needed.
Prayerfully when we get back to the house the power will be on. NOT. it wasn't

Just taking some pictures of downtown, along the river .

I guess, here is the rule to wear a mask everywhere you go into. I was told, there is a ordinance about face masks.

We meet Laura at this really nice dinner.  Name is J Christopher's Plus we sat outside to just enjoy the breeze.

What a great breakfast and lunch. It was around 10 am and I was in the mood to get a patty melt. Very good. You can see my young lady, had desert. Not really it was a yogurt parfait. Plus she got plenty of fruit too.
Okay Laura had things to work on at the house, so Jeanne and I ventured out on our own. Walking was good for us, but at the end we were both pretty tried.

We stopped by in this park here and saw this building. WOW I really loved the color and just the way it was built.

Seeing the horse and cartage reminds me of  Nassau, Bahamas. The one here is a lot nicer cartage and beautiful horse too.

We are standing outside Leopold's Ice Cream Shop. I think this place has been here for over 40 years. Many even more? There is a line just to get a cone. Some comes out another can go in.

Going down and up these steps are rough on the knees. But after getting down there had a wonderful time just walking here and there.

Showboat, this is a dinner show and ride around the river and not sure where it goes.

Sometimes I really think some of us need this, to get back inline.
The moral have gone down the into the  tube here in America.
VERY SAD TIME..

This place is Savannah Candy Store. This machine is for making Salt water taffy. We bought a little more than a half of a pound. Really had a great favor and they gave us a couple for pieces (samples)

This was kinda cute!!!! NOT really.

In my whole life I have never seen a ship so loaded.

Not sure if the captain knows, this tug boat is pulling it backwards.

That is some else???

Then this small tag boat came along and you can get a ride over to Hutchinson Island and back again. We were hoping to take that trip today. But time ran out.

Another big tug boat in the river.
hey out time along the river was wonderful and very nice place to visit.
Oh we did stop at a Christmas Store and Jeanne found a couple of items she really wanted. They real are well made and very nice to look at. Maybe when we get back home I can share some pictures of them, Reindeer/ Snow globe Angle.
We having a great time and even getting some rest too.
We have a couple of more days here, leaving on Thursday morning. Not sure where we will end up at???

Getting ready to help out a friend.

This is Laura, fellow teacher at West Wood. Well she is getting ready to move back to Savannah, GA.
She was living in a real nice  RV/trailer park on Hutchinson  (North) Island.
The place is called Ocean Resort, along A1A north.

Checking out her loaner, (2020 Ranger) Needed some window wash. Looks like we are ready to start out.

This is one of her puppies, (Moppy) he sure is ready.

Had to stop for a potty break. This is my young lady (Jeanne) She gets to drive Laura's nice Mercedes Benz. This is a convertible too.

Laura is pretty much taking everything she owns in her new trailer.

We hit a bunch of rain on the way north, along 95.

Then we had a wonderful sun set too.
Well we had a few stops on the way. dinner, potty breaks, plus gas for the Ranger. She told me that she was getting around 10 to 15 miles a gallon, with the trailer.
But as the night came we kept on driving. Myself was thinking maybe we should stop and get a hotel?
The vote was keep on trucking.
We got to Laura's house around midnight. It sure was a long day.
But by Hos grace it went well. plus no problems at all. The next morning we slept in to around 8:00am. We sure needed it.

Really the electric company woke us up. They came to shut down the power so Laura's maintain guy could tear down the electric pole off of the roof and run the wire under the ground.
This is what woke us up. He was just outside of our window, bedroom.
Hey our Lord protected us all the way, no complains.
 Praise HIM

It sure has been a journey. If you look back on this blog, you will see all the tings hat have not been going well at all. But I can say today was a wonderful time and Praise HIM.

New restaurant opens up in Fort Pierce Marina. Crabby's Dockside.

After I got done doing a couple of work projects. I stopped by UP'S store, this a store that has out dated items for sale. Well you have to have a mask on to go in there. So I didn't have kind of mask in in my  truck. So I just used a dirty old rag. hey I want to go in and see what they have for sale. Okay they let me in and I only bought a couple of items. Car soap, dry gas and a package of mushrooms. It came to $8.plus. Hey even got a free package of Thomas English Muffins (cinnamon raisin) For every $5.00 you send they give you free bread items.
Left there and headed back home to get cleaned up and have a wonderful meal with my little girl and Laura.

This place just opened up about a month or so. There was a small restaurant/bar there before.

The girls spent the day out on a boat. One that Laura set up. Freedom Boat Club, I talked about it last week. We went out together on another boat she rented. They were telling me about there day and all the running around they did. Plus got caught in a rain storm too. They both got drenched. When I meet them inside of the restaurant, my girl little girl was freezing. So we asked to seat out on the patio. It was very pleasant and relaxing out here, warmer too.
Jeanne had the seafood boil, Laura had rock shrimp and I had scallops. I really enjoyed those scallops.

Walking around the patio, there  is some nice looking boats out on the marina.

Our evening was a beautiful and lovely time. As time was going by we just enjoyed hanging out and talking about what we will be doing this week-end. So prayerfully we will be going out on another boat Laura as set up for all of us.
Hey folks life is short and we all need to just enjoy out time.
He has given us all opportunities to do just that. RELAX and ENJOY.
Praise HIM today and cherish our time here on earth, with family and friends.

We are settled again.

Remember about two weeks ago or so. We had the house tented for termites ?
Well we had to put all of our food into double bags to protect it. So as we are trying to get tings straighten up and organize. It takes us a little while to get motivated.

So now everything is in it's place and so nice to call it done. Hey folks with other tings going on, we just needed a little down time. Then we can say done.

Last night Monday, we went out with Jake,(Jeanne's son) had a wonderful meal and just getting caught up on our lives and all that is going on. We meet at the Long Horn Steak House. Like I said everyone enjoyed their food and company.
I will praise HIM all day long. He is the way and the truth.

Hey we have been planning on going out in the boat on Wednesday morning.

Got all loaded up with our tings. You know tackle and poles. Plus drinks and even a couple of subs from Publix's. Okay all set, need some ice now. Pulled into the bait shop, we always use. Got two bags of ice. Started out the driveway and heard a medal rubbing sound. Okay maybe when we climbed into the boat pushed the fender down a little more and rubbing the tire?
I WISH THAT WAS THE PROBLEM.
NOT, there are three springs broken on the trailer. Now WHAT?
We called a trailer guy, right down the street (Meltra Trailers) I sent him some pictures, thinking, can we still drive?
He told us just take your time and it should be okay!!!!
We made it there. He will not have time to look at it until Monday morning. I guess this boat ride is not going to happen?

Okay so Thursday, all day I worked on fixing this one up. Just needs some small things replaced. So on Friday we took it to the Marine Connection, on US 1, here is Fort Pierce. Got there and bought a replacement electric bilge pump. plus a couple of other tings.
Drove over Stan Blum Boat Ramp. There is a place to wash the boat. We need to make sure the motor is running good. It will start but it dies out. The reason the wash area, is you put on mouse ears on the intake of the motor to keep it cooled down. But it just would not stay running. Okay now what???
Drove over the guy (Mark) that worked on it last year. He tuned it up and it ran pretty good. He and his helper looked at it and found out the carburetors are gunned up. What could have happen was, we left fuel in the motor after running it last year. This way the carburetors get a film on the inside of them and will not stay running.
Okay Mark told us he can work on it next week. We dropped the trailer and boat there.
I am sorry to say, no boat ride this week-end.
I guess next week is our time to go out?
Hey, by God's grace we made it to the trailer place. We had enough common sense to test the motor before we rode out and got stuck out there in the ocean????
Hey He is always by our side, all we need to do it trust HIM more everyday.
Today is a great day to go praise HIM.

Not sure what day this was??? Tuesday I think?

This is Laura, a coworker from Westwood High School. This  is the young lady that let us stay, during Christmas time, up north, in Savannah, Georgia at her home.

Laura has a membership with Freedom Boat Club. Which to me is a great way to use a boat and not to worry about repairs or even cleaning it up afterwards.
We went on a ride up to Sebastian Outlet.

On the way north we stopped off on a sand bar, in the Indian River, (Inter Coastal)
The water was beautiful and warm.
Afterwards we got back into the 19ft Sea Ray.
Just rode up a little father and then headed back to her place to drop off our tings and pick up Jeanne's Kia. So I could meet them at the Freedom Boat dock. Fort Pierce City Marina.
Afterwards we stopped at Cobb's Landing for a snack and drink.

I know it is not a great shot.
It really was a enjoyable time and very relaxing on my end. I just laid down on the nice cushions and took a snooze. Plus just seeing how happy Jeanne was, to be out on the water, was worth the trip.
Folks today is a day to remember our INDEPENDENCE. Plus all that is took to get our freedom to be a GREAT NATION.
I believe OUR LORD HAS BLESSED US OVER and OVER AGAIN.
Please let this day sink in and let us stop and THANK HIM.

Remember the auction June 27th?

As the time was winding down, we kept watching Zillow, web page for people checking the properties out. Since the the sign went up there was over 1900 views. Plus 100+ saves. So now it is up to our Lord to see what happens?

This is the smaller home. on 1/4 acre.

This one is a 1/2 acre. So as the folks started showing up, around 8am. We still had more to clean up before the auction. Plus during all of the times we were there cleaning up the properties. Someone would always stop by to see if they could get a peek inside.  Sorry, the auctioneer, asked if we would not show the inside, until 1/2 hour before the auction happens.

There were plenty of folks here to take part.
Well the auction started on time, for the McNeil home. Then about 10 minutes after that she started the next one.
At the end we were hoping for a little more. But our Lord knows what we need and He provided.
So the closing is on July 27th and by then we will have some what of a idea on what is next for our future.
Praise HIM all day LONGGGGGGGG.

Now tomorrow is JULY 4TH. Please support your community and just have some fun too.
I know today Jeanne and I will be going out on the water. NOT TOMORROW, tooooo many folks.

On Saturday we flew back home. Sept. 5thn 2026

Okay I got up early and took a drive. I went to Dunkin Donuts for 6 donuts and a couple of coffees. Oh, I got a couple of items for Billy. B...
