We had to be at the Fort Lauderdale Airport by 4am. Ran into a couple of problems. First of all, we had to drive almost two hours to get to Cypress Creek Tri Rail Station. Got there at 3:10am. The Uber driver came in about 10 minutes. The driver did greet us and was very quiet driving to the airport. Dropped us off and we walked in and tried to check in at Jet Blue's area. I ran into a problem. I did buy Jeanne a seat correctly. I bought a extra seat. But didn't put her name on it. So, we had to buy her a seat. Folks my computer skills are not doing well at all. I paid for a seat, I didn't know you could do that. I didn't see where to put Jeanne's name. So, we went up the counter and bought her a round-trip ticket from Fort Lauderdale Airport to Nassau Bahamas. The girl there told us we would get a refund of the tickets I bought. Okay made to the gate and now wait for 3 hours to board the plane.
It was somewhat quiet, and I read my Bible and Jeanne stood in line for about 45 minutes to get a bagel and something else. Boarded and we were not sitting together. It cost money to reserve a seat. I do try to save us money and sometimes it cost more to fix the problem. For example. Jeanne's ticket cost us a extra $200.00. But I saved on the seats cost?????
Okay, enough about money, we laid in Nassau and just riding over the ocean, it was so beautiful and the water was sooooo BLUE.
This is the baggage area at Lynden Pinding International Airport. When I lived here 2005 to 2014. They built this airport and boy, The old one was very small, and everything was a long walk. They didn't tear the old building down until they needed it. So, walking form the old airport to this one was a ways.
When you walk out to the car pick up or whatever your ride is. You see this beautiful display.
Out here are cabs, rental cars and people just trying to make a living.
We rented from Budget Renal and got a pretty good price, Final bill was $485.for 6 days. Got the deal on Expedia. I think I saved 35%.
Hey the car handled great and east to drive. It was kind of hard to get into. hate getting older. But. it was nice to have it and drive whatever I wanted too.
Okay on the left-hand side of the road here in Nassau. It was kind of scary at first, BUT it came back into my mind and I can say. NO PROBLEM DRIVING HERE. I enjoyed it, but Jeanne was very nervous at first. I drove towards downtown. The roads were coming back from memories before. I was on West Bay Street.
Well it's lunch time and I just wanted to show Jeanne where the conch shells are stored during the day, before the restaurants open up to the public.
This is behind Arawaki Cay.
This is the front, where the restaurants are. I think we ate in this area three or four times. The food is so good and fresh.
This is the first place we ate at. Chef Sed feed us Crack Conch and I got Jerk Chicken. It was so nice to relax and enjoy the beach and just eat some good food.

During our time, we both needed to use the bathrooms.
At Arawaki Cay, there are no bathrooms in the restaurants themselves. You need to walk east to this bathroom or west to the other one.
This was our first day here and boy I showed Jeanne so much. But we were both getting a little tried and ready to head to the ALC Camp.
Well today is March 28th. I was reading in my Bible 1 Samuel chapter 3 and 4. This is when the chapter God started talking with Samuel (young man) Chapter 4 a sad one, during all this time. Isreal was fighting the Philistines and boy they were getting their butts wopped. They are questions The Lord WHY, did the Lord allow us to be defeated by the Philistines? So, now they are thinking, "BRING THE ARK OF THE COVNANT OF THE LORD FORM SHILOH. If we carry it into battle with us, it* will save us from our enemies"
WOW, the Philistines 4:11- The Ark of God was captured.
Folks the end of this chapter Eli was 98 years old and died when he was told the Ark was captured. He fell and break his neck. If you get a chance to read before here. You will see, he was not keeping his two sons in order as they were Priests. They were eating the food that was for God to be sacrificed to HIM.
We all need to be seeking God in all we do and Please trust Him with your lives.
John 14:6 Jesus told him (Thomas) I am the way, the truth and life. No can come to the Father except though ME (Jesus Christ)
Each and every one of us will meet God when we pass from this earth.
