These are Jeanne's family. We all meet at Soul Garden Restaurant
It really was a enjoyable diner. We sat around just getting caught up on all that the family has been doing this last year.
Plus having some fun with the chop sticks.
You can see I think everyone had a their fill of Korean food.
Well folks I am still asking for prayer for my buddy (Tim Ryan) back in Wisconsin. He is ICU and fighting for his life. He has Covid -19, He is breathing with a ventilator. So your prayers are needed very much so.
I talked with his, wife Felicia these couple of days. She can only visit for a short time and during those times she is talking with him and passing messages on to him. Trying to encourage him.
Plus having him listen to different friends voices. I sent her a voice massage yesterday and she played it for him. This is what I received this morning

up”date” on Tim
(Day 9 on ventilator)
Overnight Tim remained upright, fully sedated and paralyzed. His levels were fairly well after they were able to successfully sedate him to an appropriate level.
My “date” with him today was better than yesterday. They had him more sedated than in the morning but he was not paralyzed. Praise God, He was able this morning to responded to the nurses questions by squeezing her hand. He also opened his eyes again to see me today and as I was massaging his hands he squeezed mine.
He was able to maintain a stable level for the most part of the day 93% oxygen saturation with the ventilator at 45 units, slightly lower than yesterday and a level down on the pressure. While with him today he was comfortable and stable until I was leaving his Oxygen level dropped off to a scary level. The nurse checked and adjusted ventilator and medications but she’s not sure if it was him or a faulty reading.
He did unfortunately have a fever today so they are also checking that out. Thankfully his blood pressure was better today as well, still high but in a better range. The goal now is to slowly lower the ventilator, keep him upright, and sedated but not paralyzed unless necessary.
PRAY
- that he continues to tolerate the ventilator being lowered and doesn’t fight it.
- for the fever, that they will figure out what’s causing it and treat it.
- that he has a good night of rest knowing that God cares and hears our prayers on his behalf. Prayers nearby and prayers from all over the world. There is power in prayer!
Tim’s favorite verse that I prayed over him today…
Isaiah 40:31 ~
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
