Hello again, going to talk about the old shed in back.

When I started this project, I really was just thinking of running 12 wires to the back and hooking it up and let it alone. But as I have a good friend (Don) we have been talking about the power going out the old shed. Every time he kept telling me that I might have trouble passing inspection. He was looking up everything he could think of. Like I said, just run the wire and make sure everything is safe.
I had a circuit breaker 20-amps, I was using that circuit for the Flagpole area out front of the house. During Christmas time I set many up lights and figures of reindeer and the Holy Family plus many more items. Thinking running that wire out 250 feet, is a long way from the power box. So, I switched that wire to the 15-amp breaker on the other side of the electric box. So, now I have 20-amp going all that way out to the old shed.

Don, was trying to find out about the load on the air conditioner. I went out and bought a meter that reads amps. showing 3.5 amps drawing. He kept asking other questions.

Okay he found out that running power out to any outside box, needs a GFI breaker. Now this makes sense. You need to think safety and making sure if something gets wet. someone or something can get hurt. So, I bought one and brough it back home and pulled the 20 -amp break out and tried to get the new one in. Okay, do I need to go buy a new electric box plus?

The guy at Home Depot waited on me earlier that morning (Saturday) he got me one that there were no silver clips coming out of the circuit breaker itself. So, I drove back to Home Depot, and he asked what happen? I brought the old circuit breaker in with me to make sure I got the correct one.
He looked at and told me that my box is this name, sorry don't remember what name he gave it.
But he gave me the correct one and got back home and is fixed just right. Hey, I hooked up this white wire to the neutral strip. Went out and turned on the light in the shed. The breaker popped. Okay what is going on? OH, DID I READ THE INSTRUCTIONS? NO, why would I have to do that?
Folks the sad part is I try something and then read the instructions.
Okay, what I did wrong was. I left the white on the neutral strip and didn't screw it into the new circuit breaker. It tells you that right in the manual (INSTRUCTIONS).
Well, I removed the white wire from the neutral strip and fastener it to the new breaker. I don't have a picture where to put the wire. But when you look at the new breaker. You will see a silver screw on the bottom, front part of the breaker and that is where the white wire goes.
All switched around and it works great.
I just want to say Thank you Don for pushing me to make sure everything is hooked up safely and that brings peace to my soul.
If you read my blog about hooking up the wire and everything I did around the Sept 14th or so. I even wrote and said that Don was SCARING ME. Because of all his questions. I am very happy he kept texting me about what he was thinking.
Folks I even wrote about how Don has been there for me when I need some wisdom.
I THANK MY LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR PUTTING HIM IN MY LIFE.
I really hope and pray you have someone that you can trust and ask questions and maybe just someone to talk with.
I was reading this morning 2 Corinthians 3-4
The verses that pooed out were the following.
4:3-4 If the Good News we preach is VELLED (a thin covering that hides something or stops you from seeing something clearly), from anyone, it is a sign that they are perishing, (4) Satin, the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the GOOD NEWS that  is shining upon them. They don't understand the message, we preach about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of GOD.

Hey, everyone please don't let the world hide Jesus Christ. He is real and ALIVE.

I got a phone call last week and someone needs some help.

This is Bob's home. he called me and ask me to come over and see what he needs done. So, I walked around and took some pictures and her we go.
He would like me to replace the skirting around the bottom of the home. Plus, pressure wash the back shed and pavers. I left there and headed for Home Depot. I bought most of everything I needed and headed back to Bob's house and dropped off the supplies and went to pick up my wife at Westwood and helped her get the food ready for the next day.

So, I started on Thursday morning after I helped my wife (Jeanne) at Westwood High School. She is a Culinary Teacher there. So, every morning I take her to school and help her cook or whatever else she needs. So, I finished there around 8:45 am. I got home and did some things around the house here. Then headed over to Bob's house to worked about 3 hours. The heat index was running around 108 degrees. Needed to get back to school and help my little girl get lunch ready for the Jr. Varsity Football Team.

Okay on Friday morning after I drove Jeanne to the school. helped her set up the kitchen. Then I drove to Bob's house and finished up the skirting and moved onto the pressure washing the shed and pavers.

I finished up the pressure washing and called it a day. The heat index was 108 to 110 degrees. Hey, I had Bob come out and check out the work and added up his bill and he was very happy.
By God's grace I finished strong.
Folks it has been a hot day, and He helped me make it thru it.
I am not sure about you but every day I ask Him for His help, and I am very blessed to say he is right there for me.

Hey, take a guess what I am doing now?

My little girl wants a small air conditioner. (5000 BTU). Okay I started out buying #14 wire. I put it in the 1/2" conduit. I had to push it in by hand. I just did 10" pieces at a time.

I was texting my friend Don. I was telling him the project I am into now. He always takes an interest in all the fun I get to do. Well, he was asking me about the size of wire I was using. I explained it to him. Thinking, I really need a heavier wire. I pulled the #14/2 out of the pipe. Then thought it has on its burial wire. That means I don't need to put it in the PVC pipe. So, thinking down the road, Jeanne always wanted some lights to put up in the back yard. On the patio. Okay enough on that.

So back to Home Depot and bought 250 feet of 12/2 burial wire too. Now I am putting
PVC pipe to the electric main box.
I know this is for wiring code. So now I have two pieces of PVC pipe coming out of my main electrical box.

Now I did run the 12/2 in the PVC going under the new shed and up to the shed I am wiring.
The reason is twofold. One this way the animals that live under these building will not eat the wire.
You know rabbits, snakes and maybe even a something else.
Plus, just making sure no problems down the road.

On Sunday morning my baby was taking a shower, and this black snake was sunbathing on her windowsill where the shower is.

It was a big job digging along the fence line and burying the wire there.

I ran PVC 1/2" up and into the shed and then ran it along the ceiling area.

I know I will have to clean this up before I am done here. I just wanted to make sure it works.

Okay we have power. Thank you, Jesus. Folks I have been texting my buddy during every day I worked on this. I have been sending him pictures too. He keeps telling me something about running a 10-amp circuit breaker. Hey, I kept checking for anything getting hot or even warm. All seems good. Okay now he is scaring me.
Just now figured out what he was talking about. he was looking at TCL 5000 BTU unit and mine is a Toshiba RAC-WK0512CMRU (5000).
There is nothing in there about using a 10-amp circuit breaker. So prayerfully all is good.

He keeps texting me stuff and now I need to check how many amps is this unit pulling?

Meanwhile I got the box all cleaned up and looks great.
Okay I ran to Harbor Freight and bought a clamp style to read amps. Only cost $12.98.

I wrapped the clamp around the black wire at the outlet is. This is only running the air conditioner.

The air conditioner is running, and I turned on the light above to see how much amperage changes.
I was kind of surprised how low the amperage is. 3.52 amps.

This morning, I went out there to check on it and make sure all is well.
Well, I started this project on Sept. 4th (Wednesday)
Worked about 5 hours each day after that. Today is Sept 10th
Folks my little girl is very happy, and we will be moving some of the things that she wants the air for.
Overall, I know my Lord was part of this project each and every day.
Whenever I start a new project, I get like worried about doing it. Thinking what can go wrong?
My Father is listening, and He is always right there where I am.
We all need to call on Him for anything that we might be dealing with.
I was reading this morning in 1Corinthians Chapters 11-12. in 12 talks about Spirituals Gifts.
As Christians we all have gifts of the Spirit. Verse 8 To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice: to another He gives the gift of special knowledge.
I am not trying to say anything. It just good to ask others what they think?

There is something wrong with our companies that charge too much.

I got a call yesterday from an old customer. Roy and I have done many jobs for her and many more folks that live in SLCC. It's a Mobile Home Park. I used to live there myself. The people here have pretty much very friendly and ask for some help every once and a while. So, I came out and noticed the water heater was leaking. Plus, she doesn't have any hot water now. Roy my friend that usually helps me. He hurt his back a little while back. So, I didn't want him to come out and get more hurt. I looked up the tank itself and it would cost $450.00. It weights 92 pounds. Plus, valves and hoses and pretty much everything cost around $520.00. I would charge her depends how long it would take me to put everything back together. Say $200.00 =$720.00.
Okay the problem was I needed help to pick up the water heater and put it back into place. I really don't know anyone anymore. I would hate to have someone help me and get hurt. So, I told her I am sorry I just can't do it myself.
We talked about calling someone else. She found a couple of Plumbing Companies that could help her out.

I would try to keep the pipes left alone on the floor. That is where I would need help picking the water heater up and sliding it in place.
Just a NOTE. Yesterday while I was driving around, I saw a water heater on the side of the road and said, I haven't done one of those for a while now.
Looking back now, I think the Lord was telling me that I should do that job. He is right next me every day.
Well, I text her this morning and she told me that the company charged her $1782.70.
Okay thinking out loud. Yes, companies have over head. Plus, vehicles and tools and insurance. The guys to do the work. But still think about the customer in mind. Retired, just getting by. My heart goes out to them.
FOLKS this woman is retired and only gets Social Security. I have written to a couple of folks in the park asking if they know anyone on the board there. I would love to ask that they start a handyman program there. Hey, pay them, but will be fair prices.
I have been called to serve others and I try to be fair.
On Judgment Day He will be looking things over and say what about you?

During this summer we bought a 10 ft x 25 ft shed.

If you go back in my blog and see it is all set up and has passed inspections. Ready to fill up. So, we started to move things from other shed we have in the back yard. Got all of the Christmas decoration and items that go with them. Then we drove over to our first shed on US 1 in Port Saint Lucie.

This shed was filled up and I started unloading it a little while before this picture. But there is still a lot of items needed to be moved out.
Now everything here in this shed was moved into the screen room. The reason is my baby wants to go thru it and see what she can sell and just get rid of.

Okay this shed it emptied. This is August 28th. So right after I took this picture, I texted it to the office here and let them know we are out of here.

Now I am at the shed in Fort Pierce. Boy I have until August 31st to get out. I just started to pull things out and take pictures so we will be able to sell some of these items.
Example:

Example:

Now Jeanne needs to tell me how much she is willing to sell these things for sale.
Overall, this shed was a little easier to empty. I just loaded it up and started putting it all in the new shed. I went to the Crossing Church and picked up the trailer there. I asked Troy on Sunday if I may use it? He told me anything it's available help myself. Okay now this is our biggest thing to move. It has been on this cart for over 6 years. So, I got the trailer in place and pulled the it out and tried to push it up the ramp of the trailer.

I hit the plywood that goes over the ramp. to make it easier to get things on. But it slipped off. NOW WHAT??? I called Troy and asked if Franky and his partner were at the church yet? Troy said not at this time. What happened? I explained and he told me he would be there in about 20 minutes or so.
He showed up and help me get the oven back on the cart.

I strapped the oven on to the cart and pushed it back into the shed there. That and two other items are going to be moved at the end of the move.
Oh, that oven must weigh about 300 to 400 pounds.

This is a Butcher Block Table. Weights around 400 pounds.

This mixer to very heavy too.

Then we have these tiles. All marble and heavy.
These were the last items we moved; I had my wife helping me.
This is August 31st Saturday. we need to get everything out and this way we will not be charged for another month of rent.
Folks our plans were to sell what we could back in 2020. But just kept staying busy and never thought about it again. Oh, I would think about it, but not do anything.
I am telling you please for your own sake. Please just get rid of your stuff and don't think, well we will hold on to it and down the road do something with it.
We bought a 10ft x 25ft. shed for $9,000. We have been paying for two sheds for 5 years. The money adds up big time. We paid over $8,000. a year of rentals.
If we bought the shed at first year. Think about how much money we spent in 5 years?
Thinking before doing is your best way. We could have bought 4 1/2 sheds. In that time period.
What a waste of money.
Okay on a happier note. Reading thru my Bible.
I just finished up The Book Of Romans.
The last chapter talks about Chapter 16;17-20
Watch out for people who cause division and upset people's faith by teaching things that are contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words, they deceive innocent people.
But everyone knows that you are obedient to the Lord. This makes me very happy. I want you to see clearly what is right and stay innocent of any wrong. The God of peace will soon crush Satin under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
My prayers are that everyone that reads this, understands God's LOVE IS REAL.
