Well, as the time is winding down. I took them to the Jetty; that's in Fort Pierce. We drove over there, and Don just wanted to relax on this swing. So, Meg and I walked down to the beach and just showing our beautiful water and area. Jeanne and I just love coming down here and watching people and sitting on thew swings and beach and relaxing time.
We finished our time here and I drove them and tried showing them everything I could think of.
I really want them to come back and spend more time with us and just enjoy them being here.
Okay this is their last day here. We went to McDonald's and had breakfast and said our goodbyes too.
It has been a joy to have them here and it's sad to see them have to leave. But I know they have a long ride ahead of them. It should take about 16 hours. The funny part is Don drove all the way home in those 16 hours.
Maybe they will be back, and we can start looking for them a house, or condo?
Well it took me a while to get everything in my blog. The reason is life is still happening and Jeanne as many events that I am part of. Like yesterday, Jeanne took 5 students to a country club in Palm City to service their customer and staff. There was Tacos and the fixings too. Cake, cupcakes, I know there was more items I just don't remember at this time. All I know is Jeanne and her crew have been working on getting this ready for a few days. Meanwhile, we feed the teachers breakfast on Monday morning. Then I had a dentist appointment in Fort Lauderdale. Had a little problem after getting there. One of my crowns broke off. (Monday) So, I needed to drive back on Tuesday I needed to go back, and she had to pull that tooth out and repair my plate, so I have all my teeth again. Then afterwards I came back and helped Jeanne get thing in order for Wednesday evening event. Plus picked up a passenger van for the students to have a ride to the Country Club. Now Wednesday morning I drove my truck and came in to help her with whatever is left. Then came back at 12pm helped her a little more. She drove to the event I drove home, relaxed a little and at 9: 30pm. Drove over to the school again. Waiting for her and the crew to get back and clean up everything they used. Got somethings ready for this morning event. Didn't leave there until 11pm. Had to take the van back. We got up at 5:30am and drove to school using both vehicles, the reason Jeanne has a doctor appointment this afternoon. Now set up the food and coffee, OJ, water and all the fruit and yogurt and everything else that is needed, for this event. Feeding the School District plus Chamber of Congress breakfast. Then while doing that. Another teacher came in and asked for 5 chafers, plus tongs and everything else needed to service food for the teacher's lunch.
Folks this is getting to be a lot harder than I thought it might get.
But like this morning I am reading in 1 Kings 17 and 18. Chapter 17 is about Elijah had his calling. The Lord told him where to go and God provide for him. The Lord stopped the rain, and He told Elijah will be okay. Just trust Him. Plus, God told him to go to this village and see this widow and she will provide. God did another miracle. She ever ran out of four or olive oil. Her son dies. Elijah prayed and laid on him three times and he came back to life.
So, why worry about a little, events and all that is going on in my life. God is right here with me.
Thank you, Lord.
