We were invited for Mother's Day breakfast at the Elks Club in Port Saint Lucie, by Christa, (daughter in law) .
Her is the gang, Cashlyn, Kayden, Christa, friend, Judy, Les and my little girl Jeanne. I went up and got us orange juice and toast. Hey, the food was great and very inexpensive. I found out on very Sunday they do this. You don't have to be a member to enjoy breakfast. They offer you eggs (anyway) bacon and sausage, toast, biscuits and gravy and orange juice and cranberry juice too.
I think it was only $10.00
It was very nice of Christa to invite us and just sit around and get caught up with each other.
Afterwards we said our goodbyes and headed back home.
We are not really too much today.
Oh, we need to make TURMERIC. Hey, my baby has made this for us for a while now. It really does help with aches and pains and just seems to help make us feel good too.
It really kind of easy to make too. We buy ours's at Publix (grocery store). All need to do it cut it up and put it in water and bring it to a boil and shut it off and let it set. Then get your strainer and pour the liquid into a pitcher and then put into smaller bottles and refrigerate.
I think we filled 20 some bottles and just put them into the refrigerator and enjoy whenever you want to.
Hey, I was told not to have more than one a day.
All I know it really does help my body, and the taste is not bad. Sometimes I add lime juice or something like that. But at the end of the day, I have more energy and just feel better.
Reading my Bible. I am in 2 Kings chapters 13 and 14. Folks I am sorry in this book it just keeps telling us how the kings did evil and just sad to read to see how God was pretty much just letting these kings do what they want, and it seems like it always ends not to good.
All I know it our God loves us, and He just wants to listen to Him and do what He tells us.
So, folks my prayers are that you are seeking Him and asking for his wisdom, and we need to be willing to listen.
