At Calvary Christian Academy, which is the school here at Calvary Chapel

They have a day set a side each year for Grandparents Day. Which by looking at the pictures you will see it really was a fun day for the kids and them. Each grade had different things going on. But most of it was bring the grandparents in and showing off what their grand kids have been learning and just letting them see the school and church in all.
To make this all happen in a couple of hours takes some man power. You know where do they sit? The little ones it would be very hard for the grandparents to sit in one of the chairs. So on Thursday we got 600 plastic chairs for them to sit in. So during the day on Thursday Scott, Brandon and Josh rolled all these chairs out in different areas and had the teachers take as many chair as they wanted, put them in their classrooms. So on Thursday night I rolled all of the carts and some chairs back into our storage area.
Jeremy and I were told to roll the carts out by 11 am and the teachers would load the chairs back on and all we would have to do would be roll them down and leave them at the west exit. Well at 11 am we got there and all the chairs were already out of the classrooms and leaning against the walls.

That was 600 plastic chairs to restack. It really was not to bad. The funny part was, Jeremy and I counted them and recounted the stacks and came up short, 5 chairs. Now let us go look and find out where they are. So we went through each classroom twice and then Jeremy found 3 in one and I found 2 in the other one. The sad part is we both were in those classrooms before looking. I was in the one getting a bagel to eat and Jeremy went into the other one to look for chairs and the kids must of been sitting on them. The really kicker is we counted them ad least four time each. Got a call after putting the chairs down stairs where the rental company dropped them off at. The call was someone found one more chair. I went over and got it and brought it down to the others. Well they were already taken away. Oh well.
I know the grandparents enjoyed themselves and the kids had some fun with them. It was some work but in the end it really was not a hard after seeing the kids faces and grandparents smiles.

Just another beautiful day comes to the end

I just enjoy looking up and seeing the sly line and how beautiful it is each time. It is a little different.

Okay I am going to try to lose some weight, REALLY

No more bread, every once awhile, have flat bread sandwiches. Bread is 80 calories a slice. These are only 40 pre slice.

Have been drinking 2%, Now 1%. When drinking it with a meal, you can tell the difference. That is okay. Got to start some where.

This is what it will cost to buy a condo. with more money down you really can save some monthly fees. I was looking at 5% down, Now NO WAY. He will have to do something in my heart to buy at 5%. Save and save more.

You know working as a table and chair pusher is hard some days.

Jeremy and I set this up on Sunday. The reason was on Monday afternoon there is a CCA teachers staff meeting. It should be in good shape for now.

Now this is the North Banquet Room. I need to break down all these tables and chairs for Tuesday event. Which I had started on Sunday afternoon. I got most of the chairs out. So on Monday morning I just finished up taking all the rest of the chairs and tables out.

Okay now the staff meeting went until 5:15pm. Mean while I was suppose to get our CCA Baseball team to help me finish breaking down the chairs. Oh after lunch Josh and I put the dance floor up. That was a blessing for me. Putting the dance floor up is not a fun picnic. But it is up.
Okay now you can see all the 8 ft tables are some what set in place.

The only problem is there are still chairs up front in the room. I did as much as I could get done by 5:30pm. Meanwhile I had a doctor's appointment then.
Ad least the guys have until noon to finish it up. That is when the event is schedule for.
Just to let you see what it is to be a event guy. Most times it all works out, but some thing are out of my hands.

Hey I figured out how to work the Goggle Chrome now.

This is the front of 7400 NW 5 Place.

You can see the club house is right next store

There are two pools. But on a Friday night the place was empty. I did talk with a couple of ladies there. They are from Freeport Bahamas. It really was a nice time. The one that lives here was telling me how the club house is being used pretty much every day. Different activities going on.

This is just looking into the window at the club house.

Would be looking out and seeing the Shuffle Board Court.

The back yard of this place.

It really looks like I nice place. But I still have not sold all the way yet. He knows what I need and want. This place the price has dropped form 53,000. to 48,000. Good drop.

Not sure what is going on

I up loaded Chrome on this computer. Now I can not get to my pictures to share with you. I will keep on trying and will see what happens.
Over all things are doing pretty good. I told you a could of days ago, about my problem sleeping. Back pain. Well since I have been putting ice on it each night, I sleep very well now. I do get a up with some pain, but nothing like it use to be. Thank you for your prayers on that.
Well this last Friday we had the News Boys at Calvary. I heard the concert went very well. But the music was on the loud side. I know while I was setting thing up in the sanctuary, The drummer was setting his drums in place. Then testing the sound. It was loud then.
As of yesterday, I had a chance to go look at condos again. Really like this one, But as the day went on, found out about another area with large sq ft. I have been looking at 990 sq ft. These have 1100 sq ft. Some what bigger. Maybe see what happens. As of looking at them, The one only had a full and  half bath. That means sink and toilet, no shower. I really believe if I plan on having a roommate, The shower is a must. Remember Who is in charge here? He has a place and I just got to wait on Him. Oh my realtor found a full 2 bath, But now these places need 20% down. I am looking at 5% to 10% only.
Say a prayer or two. he got my back. Oh I said a funny, remember my back problems?

These last couple of days, having some trouble sleeping.

On Monday night I went to the movie at our place here. It was Birdman. Okay a couple of weeks ago it won best picture at the Oscar Awards. Well about ten minutes into it, I was thinking what is going on? There was a lot of swearing and just not making any sense. I said to myself. It won the Oscar, it has to get better? I even saw about twenty people walk out of the theatre.  Okay there was some real good acting, but over all it was not worth paying $10.00 to see. Oh that right I only spend $2.00? But really was something I would tell everyone to go see. Maybe even tell you DON"T waste your time of money.

Okay now why haven't I been doing my blog. Well for the last couple of months I have been having trouble sleeping at night. I am thinking it is the bed. So to get relief, I tried to sleep on a air mattress, Lazy boy, a sofa and floor, what ever. I just could sleep for about a hour and I would not move, the pain was wow. It was a sharp pain. Thinking okay maybe my kidneys, or something else? Pulled a muscles. Just was rough to lay down and then GET UP.
Okay I broke down and went to a chiropractor. The place made me feel special and caring. I went and got some X rays and the doctor told me that I will need to come back on Friday. Mean while just use ice on the part that hurts the most. Which I have been for the last tow nights. It really has given me a good night rest and today I get to have some bones moved around and we will see how this all works out I will let you know tomorrow.

Another devotion from my friend, in Nassau.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!”  Psalm 103:1 (ESV)
Sure, I bless the Lord with my lips and, as much as I can, with my heart. But with all that is in me? Can I really bless Him when my lower back is kinked or my sinuses are blocked and filled with pain? Can I bless him for my middle-aged tummy bulge or those widening hips? What about my second chin that is beginning to appear, or my hair, which has a mind of its own and pays more attention to the humidity than to any futile attempts to style it?
When we look at our flaws, imperfections, and body aches, it is hard to be positive, isn’t it? Other people may see our good points, but we magnify those things we hate about ourselves: our too-straight or too-curly hair; our big or pointy or hooked noses; our short legs; or, our over-sized bottoms. Some of us despise the fact that we are scrawny and tall and can’t seem to gain weight. (By the way, I secretly envy you, if that is your difficulty.)
Then there is the inside stuff: Our anger; our pride, which rears up when confronted; our stubbornness; and, our bad habits. Do people judge us more harshly than we judge ourselves? Does the way we act affect our appearance, or vice versa? What does that say about us as disciples of Christ? Where is our attitude of gratitude?
When will we realize that we are wonderfully and fearfully made by our Creator who desires relationship with us so much He even went to the cross so He could be with us? God sees us not as we are, but through the eyes of a loving parent. He sees the potential of who we can be when we use all the talents He has given us and when we choose to follow His ways. As the children’s song says, we are precious in His sight—no matter our race, our body shape, or our background.
It is true that some of our flaws are the result of our own life-choices. Through prayer and study of the Scriptures, we can change how we react to stress and to life in general. We can start turning to God for comfort and satisfaction, rather than to food or other worldly pleasures. We can spend less time at computers or on the couch in front of a television screen and, instead, get out to enjoy the beauty of our world. At the same time, we can help others in need.
Let’s read what Psalm 103: 2-5 (ESV) goes on to say:
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s”
The key is in the second verse when we forget not all His benefits; that is the attitude-changer. Once we claim Jesus as Lord, we receive eternal life and will one day have spiritual bodies free of disease and all imperfections. Since we have confessed Christ as Lord, we also get the crown. He forgives us, loves us, and shows us mercy. We can be more-than-satisfied with what is good, both in our bodies and in our lives. We can also seek God’s help to begin to see ourselves as He see us.
Dear God, the next time we feel down on ourselves, help us to remember who we are to You. Heal our attitudes and our bodies. Give us Your strength so we can renew every aspect of ourselves: our hearts, minds, wills, and bodies. May we rejoice in what we have been given, rather than complaining, knowing that so many have so little. Most of all, may we bless You with all that is in us for redeeming us from death and granting us eternal life and the forgiveness we could never hope to earn. We ask these things in Your holy and mighty name, Lord Jesus, Amen
Questions: When you look in the mirror, do you see yourself for your faults or for your blessings? How do you believe the Lord sees you?

This is from a good friend back in the Bahamas, thanks Betty.

So often I have looked at the screen of my computer and wanted to write about God – who He is. I always feel so tongue/finger tied. He is so great and my words so inadequate to write about Him.
So today, I will include a summary of the Attributes of God, written by Dr. William R. Bright, the founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, International:
1.    Because God is personal spirit…I will seek intimate fellowship with Him.
2.    Because God is all-powerful…He can help me with anything.
3.    Because God is ever-present…He is always with me.
4.    Because God knows everything…I will go to Him with all my questions and  concerns.
5.    Because God is sovereign…I will joyfully submit to His will.
6.    Because God is holy…I will devote myself to Him in purity, worship and service.
7.    Because God is absolute truth…I will believe what He says and live accordingly.
8.    Because God is righteous…I will live by His standards.
9.    Because God is just…He will treat me fairly.
10.    Because God is love…He is unconditionally committed to my well being.
11.    Because God is merciful…He forgives me of my sins when I sincerely confess them.
12.    Because God is faithful…I will trust Him to always keep His promises.
13.    Because God never changes…my future is secure and eternal.
Father, deep within our hearts we want to know Who you are.
