At Calvary Christian Academy, which is the school here at Calvary Chapel

They have a day set a side each year for Grandparents Day. Which by looking at the pictures you will see it really was a fun day for the kids and them. Each grade had different things going on. But most of it was bring the grandparents in and showing off what their grand kids have been learning and just letting them see the school and church in all.
To make this all happen in a couple of hours takes some man power. You know where do they sit? The little ones it would be very hard for the grandparents to sit in one of the chairs. So on Thursday we got 600 plastic chairs for them to sit in. So during the day on Thursday Scott, Brandon and Josh rolled all these chairs out in different areas and had the teachers take as many chair as they wanted, put them in their classrooms. So on Thursday night I rolled all of the carts and some chairs back into our storage area.
Jeremy and I were told to roll the carts out by 11 am and the teachers would load the chairs back on and all we would have to do would be roll them down and leave them at the west exit. Well at 11 am we got there and all the chairs were already out of the classrooms and leaning against the walls.

That was 600 plastic chairs to restack. It really was not to bad. The funny part was, Jeremy and I counted them and recounted the stacks and came up short, 5 chairs. Now let us go look and find out where they are. So we went through each classroom twice and then Jeremy found 3 in one and I found 2 in the other one. The sad part is we both were in those classrooms before looking. I was in the one getting a bagel to eat and Jeremy went into the other one to look for chairs and the kids must of been sitting on them. The really kicker is we counted them ad least four time each. Got a call after putting the chairs down stairs where the rental company dropped them off at. The call was someone found one more chair. I went over and got it and brought it down to the others. Well they were already taken away. Oh well.
I know the grandparents enjoyed themselves and the kids had some fun with them. It was some work but in the end it really was not a hard after seeing the kids faces and grandparents smiles.
