Well yesterday we finished this house up.

This is Jo's home. yesterday we power washed her home and the drive way plus the back porch too. There was a lot of mildew and just dirty. It was a hard day and HOT. So by 1:30pm we finished for that day. 

Got here around 9:30 am started painting. Roy did the doors and I the shutters. 

At the end of the job, Roy and I were tried from the heat and sun was bright. 

But it sure looks good Plus the Jo and her neighbors pretty much told us it looks great. That is such a good thing to to hear. 

Hey as it is Friday, sure looking forward seeing the week-end. Folk for the last week or so, the business has been going well. I know the owner of the park does have a lot to do with this. Twice, every year, one of the staff ride around the parks and look for problems. Mildew, weeds around the homes, drive ways that are dirty and they have other things they look for. 

So at this time every year we have plenty of work on hand. 

Which is a great feast at the time. So we need to do as much as possible. 

Hey pretty much every home washing it $40. bucks in each of our pockets at the end of the job. Plus there is always seems more that is needed too. So that is extra funds. 

Folks life is good and we all need to THANK OUR LORD EACH DAY FOR WHAT EVER WE HAVE. 

 

 

I really do enjoy Cream Cheese.

The sad part is it turns into mold in a few days. Jeanne tells me that it is contaminated by something like food from the knife I used to spread the cheese. It just blows me away how fast it turns to mold. 

Oh well I have bought the cream cheese that is in a tub, now. Maybe it will not run so fast? 

I just can't believe it is Friday already??? 

Today's work project is finishing up a job we started yesterday. Jo's house, pressure washing and cleaning her drive too. That meant a lot of work with the pressure washer. Today we are painting her shutters and doors. They really need it. Here is a picture of what we did yesterday. 

Yes, these need a good coat or two of paint. Today is the day we will do it. 

Pressure washing is fun for a while, but after some time. It is work. 

Like I said I am looking forward in finishing this job and up moving on to the next one. 

Oh this is Roy. We have been working together now for over three years??? 

I am sure looking forward in to this week-end of doing stuff around our house.

This is the Fresh Market in Stuart, Florida

Well on Monday a month or so, Jeanne had a doctor's appointment down in Stuart, Florida. Jeanne was telling me that she stopped here a little while back and bought a couple of things. She was saying she loves this store and could we stop and buy a couple of items? 

Sure I enjoy eating good stiff. They have a Meal Deal Of The Day. 

So we got two (2) Bistro Sandwiches. 

The produce department looks like some fresh and great fruit. 

Just a side note. While living in Nassau, Bahamas, I think we had a Fresh Market next to the airport, I think? The reason I say that is, while at this store I was talking with the manger at this store, I was telling her that there is one of these store are in the Bahamas. She was telling, she didn't think so.

The neat thing is as we were here, we spent a few bucks here. I know since we were there, everything we got tasted good and really enjoyed those sandwiches we bought. 

Well folks my prayers are that everyone is healthy and feeling great. 

Just in this last week or so, Roy and I have jobs booked all the way up to next week. 

I just want to say thank you for reading this blog and would love to hear from anyone there, that loves the Lord. 

 

Saturday GAME NIGHT.

 Okay this is our first game night. We are at Ken and Marcel's home. We were invited to come over and have dinner and play some games. As we were sitting here, I know Jeanne and I were pretty hungry. 

Ken asking let us start our games. I thinking, WHAT? So we started playing Taboo. I don't think I have ever played it? 

It really is a lot like Password. You have a word that you need to give examples of it, but there are example words that you can not use to use. Like the word Jeanne needed to say FLY. I could not use bird, airplane, wings and something else. So I said something like it and Jeanne got it correct. At the end of the game, Jeanne and I won it. 

I think we stopped around 9 or so. had some hamburgers, beans and afterwards some strawberry cheesecake. It really was a fun night. 

Jeanne and I left around 10;30pm or around then. I know we were both very tired. So the next morning, we slept in a little more than normal. 

But we got up and watched Pastor Craig (The Crossing) on You Tube. It really was a good teaching on reasons. The sad part of what has been going on, we all have problems, about sins. Then we love to blame others for our problems. 

WE NEED OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST TO HELP US LOOK AT OUR ACTIONS.  

What is needed to get done around our home?

This is our front yard. Each one of theses palm trees have weeds around them. So this last Saturday morning Jeanne and I worked on cleaning them up. 

Plus there were two of the palms didn't have any protection around them. Each time the guys come to cut our grass, the weed eater tears up the bottom of the tree, where the roots are. So this is what I worked on, while my baby worked on weeding the rest of them. 

This is our next project. Clean out the weeds and just making it look good too. 

Folks I remember how much I DIDN"T LIKE WEEDING. Yes when I was a kid, my dad had rose bushes around the front of our home back then. My job was to weed them out. Just thinking about weeding I would do what ever I could so I would not have to. But at the end I did weed them when ever they were needed. 

But the neat thing is there are only a few rose bushes in this area. 

Piece of cake. 

There is many blessing owning a home and just staying on top of keeping things looking good is work. But at the end He has given us the a great gift. 

 

On this day, I went and got my first shot for Covid -19

I went on line and had to print out my appointment. which was a ticket. Saying the time and place. Which this is it, Havert Fenn Center. It is a auditorium. They have wrestling matches and gun shows and other things during the year. But right now it is set up for getting our Covid -19 shots. 

Okay need to be here at 9am. Which I was about 30 minutes early. 

Parked my truck up front. Being here early. BUT we were told to stay in our cars and trucks until told different. So right at 9am. They told us to get in line. Which pretty much everyone ran to make that happen. 

Here I stand to get inside. Which went pretty fast. 

You can see this is a maze. Like Walt Disney lines. You can see what is ahead of us. More lines and table to help us stay apart form each other. 

Now I am feeling like a piece of cattle.

This is where you go to sit and rest. Make sure you don't have any side effects. 

So at the end, I got my shot and feel pretty good. Nothing I could feel at the time. 

Oh, in line behind me was one of Jeanne's friend from school. (Marcel) (science teacher) at Westwood High School. So we sat together an got caught up a little on all Jeanne and I have been doing since her operation. We sat for about ten minutes or so. Then we both left until the next shot. (23 of April) 

This is the card we all got. To show we got our first shot. I guess down the road these cards will be used to show that we got the shots. Plus maybe more???? 

Folks I know my Lord loves me and He has a plan for my life. All I want others to know, make sure you know HIM (JESUS) This way our fear and just not knowing our future are in HIS HANDS. 

 

Another Saturday at the Farmer's Market.

This is Connie and Butch's tent. She sells plants here. She has been here on every Saturday for many years. 

This is Kevin's tent. Hey Jeanne and I have been getting our breakfast here pretty much every time we are here. He makes this thing called The Kitchen, it cost $10.00 and it is worth it. It is really good too. 

This is a great place to enjoy our breakfast and just sit and watch these folks inter react. 

Today is Saturday again, but we have some things to get done around our home. 

I am so blessed to be able to wake up and just enjoy another day. 

Hey about two weeks ago I got my first shot for Covid- 19. 

I will share more about that, tomorrow.  

 

As Jeanne and I were driving along US 1 heading north from below ,Stuart.

These are three business next to each other. One is Medal Art and other items like wood art too. Then there is a Nursery too. 

I think this is one I want. But, our funds are on the low side now. We need not spend on items like this. 

There sure is some neat things here. 

Maybe I like this one MORE?? 

They sell special mail boxes too. I know we will be stopping here again.
