This is at Denis's house. I was here a week ago, had to replace a basket in the left sink. Put in a new faucet. Then afterwards, he asked if I could put up a blind over the kitchen window. It's kind of funny; this blind took me more time to put up then the work under the sink.
Back to under the sink, you can see that there has been some water damaged. Instead of pulling everything up. Folks these cupboards are cardboard. If I take the lumber out, they will collapse.
So, I am going right over the old shelve. I did make sure there was no water still there. I used an old dish towel to wipe everything off.
You can see that there is a valley and I need to build it up. I used a 2"x2"x48" plus screwed a 2"x1" under that to build it up. Then cut the 1/4" plywood the size I need. Then cut off 7" to cut out the holes for the lines coming up under it. Then placed the front piece on and screwed it in place.
I didn't go beyond the door openings. The reason is Denis had a stoke a while back and he cannot get down and put anything under that area.
My Lord is helping me do these small jobs and I am so happy to know that. Folks I have been having some trouble with remembering things. So, I have been taking these pills my special memory doctor has given me a prescription to help me.
Praise my Lord each and every day.
A couple of days before this one. Dan called me (Mickey is a friend of his) This is his shed. And asked me to look at how to take a air conditioner out of a shed. I looked and started pulling the foam out and just kept checking to make sure I disconnect correctly. I know he will want to sell it down the road.
This air conditioner was all locked in with the spray foam. I just cut is all away and pulled it into the shed and carried it out to the carport.
I cut a piece of 1/4" door skin. 1/2" more than the opening. Then slid it into the side and put four screws in it, so I could move it around and get it where I wanted it. Then caulk it all in and made sure the holes were covered too.
Then put up four pieces of 1"x2" pieces of lumber and screwed them in place. Then caulked it again.
I checked the inside looking out to make sure there was no sun light coming in.
About two months ago, I did some repair work on the shed door and frame. I bought like three cans of spray paint to try to match the color of the siding. Which to my surprise it was perfect.
I put a couple of coats on and took some pictures and went over to Dan's house to collect my payment and just see how he is doing.
Well folks today is Saturday Nov. 29th and I am just finishing u this up before I go to bed.
So sweet dreams all and I will share more this next week. Thank you again for checking my blog out.
Remember Jesus Christ Loves you.
