Okay I got a call and stopped over and took a look and told him I will wash them with Home Armor, (Home Depot) plus use a pressure washer too. So, I came back on Friday (last week). Then came in on Monday and started getting things is order. I took my blower and blew everything off. He has a large Oak Tree above this side of the house. Then got out the tarp and fern stirp.
My idea was to staple one side of the tarp on one of these. Then stick it up under the awning. and make sure it security and ready to start spraying. I tried a few ways. But it just would not stay in place.
There are a few brackets under and it's not that easy.
Dan came out and I was telling him what my plans are. Then I asked about taking the awnings down and spraying them on a tarp? I looked at it and thought, wow, this might take me a lot longer to get this done. Dan told me that he used a paint brush the last time he painted them. He said it should take about 20 minutes each one.
Okay, next plan. I stopped and drove over to Butterfields and bought a quart of Glossy Brown Rust-Oleum. I started and boy it was not going that smooth at all. It took me almost 1 hour to just paint one. Okay Lord, it's in your hands. I got the spray paint out and just tried spraying in a small area. Really didn't see any over spray. I put the paint brush and can of paint away for now. I just kept spraying and checking to make sure no over spray.
If I hit the house with the paint, I used the WD40 and sprayed it and wipe the paint right off. That is what I use to clean my hands when done spraying.
Finished it up and Dan came back out and was checking on how it was going? I explained to him what happen with the paint brush work. Then showed him under the awning, there was no over spray.
Hey I think they look great and Dan was very happy too. Now we need to spray the pike of the house with white spray paint.
I needed to use a 16-foot extension ladder. Meanwhile I asked if he would hold it for me. Folks getting up there is not bad, it's coming down. I just want to make sure it will not move anywhere.
Hey not bad for two days of work. It all looks great, and Dan was very happy too.
Its kind of funny, on Tuesday he got a APPROVAL STICKER that day.
I know he is happy to see that; it seems like he keeps getting letters in the mail, saying this or that is not correct. Or you need to clean this or that. It does sometimes get him upset too. But prayerfully he is in good shape for a while.
Folks I do feel sorry for some of these folks that get these letters and worry that they will get Evicted. It can be scary and I remember one of my customers (Miss Wells) she got one and called me and was all up set and worried about it. I told her it will be okay. Now with her, she has been there since the park open back in 1984. She has been paying $135.00 month for her rent. I fixed her problem, and I just heard a couple of weeks ago, she has passed and now her son is living there. I can image his rent now is $900.or more. he is living on one of the lakes. WATERFRONT PROPERTY.
Folks like I said, Spanish Lakes Country Club has been there for over 40 years. I have been told that the Wynn's grandchildren are running the show now.
They own five parks in this area. Plus, many other things too. Mr. Wynn bought up property many years ago and did some smart investing.
Enough about all that stuff. I have a short message for you.
Jesus Christ loves you and wants you to know, He is right next to you.
Call on His Name and trust Him and confess your sins to Him. He will live inside of you.
Thank you for reading my blog and would love to hear from you.
