Wednesday and Thursday we kicked butt.

I ran the saw down in between every 5 feet.on the lumber. The rest was just pulling it off the supports and piling it up. I think we made three trips to the land fill this day.

This was our last trip of the day. It was close to 4 pm leaving here. So the land fill closes at 5 pm. We made it with 10 minutes to spare. I think with all our loads there, it came to less than $30.00. Over all I think we are doing really well and looking forward in cleaning this all up on Friday..
There is one more load to take to the dump.
Then we will stop at Home Depot. There we will see about having our lumber delivered to her house on Monday. The reason for the delivering is 12 foot boards. I really don't want to carry that much weight in the back of my truck. She has been doing well, but I don't want to over load her.
She has 242301 mile on here and I need her keep running.
Over all I am very happy about how nice this back yard is looking after getting rite of all the old stuff and tree. You now can see the lake behind her house. I will show you pictures tomorrow.

I hope and pray you all had a chance to go to church and praise HIM on Sunday?
I know I went and Pastor Craig did a message on Ephesians 6:10 to 18
It is all about the Whole Armor Of GOD.
Hey we all have battles each day and they are not of the world.
Please read these verses. You can see we are not fighting each other,
12) For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood. BUT against the EVIL rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.
I am not trying to scare you, but let you know what is really happening in this time here on earth.
Please Praise our Lord Jesus Christ today.

Really this is our first day at Doris's back yard.

You can see we got our moneys worth on this load. Land fill didn't charge us. The reason was there was a lot of pots with dirt and flowers in there. Plus some brush we put in. Plus the recycling (chairs and table) Free load. Praise HIM.

Okay the gloves are on and we are ready to start chopping away on the tree there.

This was our four run to the land fill. Final one for the day.
Over all great day and we have one more brush run on Wednesday, plus the deck.

I am on one of the dart teams. On Tuesday night we play darts.

I have never seen this before. Dart into another dart (flight wing)
Hey fun night but we lost both games. No biggie. We have the whole season to come back and kick butt.
Over all it really is fun to have a time to relax and just play a couple of games. But sometime we all want to win too. Next time? Maybe.

Alright it must be Monday morning.

Well this is Doris's back yard. I showed you pictures of this last week. Now what are we to do here? Roy and I cleaned off the deck to see what we have to deal with.

We just pulled everything off to look at the deck itself. We were planning on using the pressure washer, plus the stuff we get from Home Depot.

Roy and I decided this is not worth cleaning and replacing a couple of boards. It is all shot. The supports are even rotten out. So Doris and her son (John) came out an we showed them how bad it really is. Plus the tree needs to be cut down too.
Well they both agreed that it needs to be all torn out. Plus cut the tree down too. Told them we would start on Tuesday morning.
Well Roy and I had appointment to replace a sink this day too. So we went over there to get this one done.

This is the old sink. She wants a deeper and single tub sink.

It really was not as easy I as I was thinking. Just pull the old one and put in the new one. Well the clips that hold the old one in place, came out pretty easy. The reason was you could us a nut driver to get them out. Now the new sink we could not use the old clips. So we had to use the ones that came with it. What a pain. The heads on them were small slotted screws. It was hard to get my hands on each side of the sink to get them in. Well go some of them in. Roy even had to do a couple. I was not having any fun at all. I needed to drive over to the hardware store and get a different kind of tail piece for the drain. Which I did and it all came together. So at the end maybe we will not be replacing sinks???

Okay the sink it in and looking pretty good. Now what?  The faucet ran for a second and stopped flowing. Took the head off and found small pieces of plastic in it.
All is well now.
Praise Him, the reason is say that is I walked away an thank Him for this all coming together. I was not a happy camper with this one. But now I am.

We are so blessed here in Fort Pierce. NO RED TIDE HERE.

Okay after church I took a ride down too Hutchinson Island and checked out how the red tide was doing here.
Praise the Lord, none here at all. The shore line has been pushed back a little. But no red tide here.
The beach was very light for folks today. The reason is there was a cold front (65) that came thru on Saturday evening. So this place will be jumping later on It is only 10:30 am Sunday.

Then I stopped by the Jetty. This place was looking great too. No red tide here. Just like I was talking about the light turn out. Same here early and a little chilly.

Here some one dropped some bread crumbs. These little guys need to eat too.
Over all beautiful sky and the water was looking really nice too. The sand is pushed back a little more since we have had a couple of super moons. Plus higher tides don't help any.
Folks I just love walking along the beach here. The folks that are out are some what friendly and that is what life is about.
Got back home made a nice roast and enjoyed just laying around the house. I did some house work too.
I real do love living here an just the beauty I see each day, I am blessed.

Okay folks I had a chance to fill out a absentee ballot.

Yes I enjoy the time to sit down and read over all things that are on the ballot, for Nov 6th 2018. So I am so happy to say my ballot is in and all is well.
This above is just a sample ballot to look over before you vote. The funny thing was it was the same as the absentee ballot.

I really hope and pray everyone comes out and votes. Folks as I look o Facebook and other means of media. Us, USA we are more divided than I ever remember being. So your vote is a way to help bring our nation back some what to normal???? Prayerfully.

This is the intersection of Kings Highway (Turnpike Feeder Road) and Indrio Road. This has been like this since the 24 of Oct. They are telling us it will be back to normal in a month or so.

I just drove around different ways to see how to get here and there.

My main reason is to get to the Salvation Army trailer. So I can drop off the clothes and shoes. There is a woman (Dale) that lost her hubby about two months ago. So she was cleaning out his closet. She thought of me and asked if I would like some of his clothes? Sure but as I got them back to my place the shoes were to small and the shirts were really nothing I would wear. I did get a couple of T shirts. So I wanted to drop them off and found out the trailer was closed, on Saturday?
I drove over to the Goodwill on Osol and dropped them off an walked around and only found a small picture frame.

Okay why do I need a picture frame? Not sure, because I have empty picture frames all around my house now? But I liked it and it is medal. Very well made.Hey $.99 how do you go wrong?

Oh while out a filled my tuck up at Cumberland Farms.(Route 70) That is correct $2.54.9 a gallon. That is a great price too.
Overall very relaxing, Saturday and just enjoy the weather too. Cool and dry.
At the end of next week (Wednesday the 7th of Nov.)  there will be
NO MORE POLITICAL ADS ON TV AND ALL THE JUNK MAIL SHOULD STOP TOO.
Praise HIM

On Saturday we flew back home. Sept. 5thn 2026

Okay I got up early and took a drive. I went to Dunkin Donuts for 6 donuts and a couple of coffees. Oh, I got a couple of items for Billy. B...
