This is a neat story about one of Kevin's relative. maybe a cousin

A couple of days ago, Nassau had a big party for Mr Poitier. The bridge that goes over to Paradise Island is now named Sidney Poitier Bridge. It really was neat to hear and watch on ZNS TV (here).
 I am not sure if you would have seen or heard about him? He was a big movie star back in the 60"s I think he was the first back man to do picture shows. I remember To Sir With Love. He was a teacher. The Guess For Dinner.( I think I am close to the name) A white girl bring home Sidney for dinner. Back then it would have made a big deal.
Now Kevin has been told he is related to him by his dad. Kevin Donny Poitier. I guess his dad lived on Cat Island back a ways. That is where Sidney use to live. Please if you get a chance to look up Cat Island you will see some thing about Sidney home and what he did there.
