Well, as her being a culinary teacher, she was asked if she would like to take some summer classes? We have been going for a few years to these classes. So, she jumped on them and said yes.
Our first trip was to Orlando. We packed and left on June 17th.
There were some traffic problems, but we made to our hotel, then had to get Jeanne to the collage and sign in. The neat thing was the collage was right next to the hotel.
This is the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. Our home for the next 4 days.

We are back at the resort. Just walking around and checking things out. Very beautiful and nice.
This is our room for the next couple of days. I will explain farther down the road of this trip.
This is our view form our room. After setting in, we both changed into our bathing suits.
I am not sure why, but I didn't take any pictures of the pool we first went to. Well, that first pool was the adult pool and there was a bar there too. The sad part was there a few people there that have been drinking and their language was burning our ears. So, we came over here. We stayed here for a few minutes and went back to our room and watched some TV and had a wonderful sleep. Next morning I took her to the school and found a Wawa for collage and a nice sub sandwich.
This was our room for two days. I think on Wednesday morning I woke up and walked to the bathroom and felt water on the floor. Plus, I refrigerator stopped working. They moved us to another floor and room.
It was on the top floor of this hotel. Really the same room set up and view is nice here too.
Well folks I pretty much stayed around the hotel and just relaxed by the pool every day. Oh, on Wednesday I texted my cousin, Bonita. and asked if she has any plans for Thursday afternoon?
So, we made plans, and I drove over to her house and picked her up and we went downtown Winter Haven and found Carrabba's Italian Grill. She ordered Meatball and Ricotta. I got Spaghetti.
I am sorry to say, I didn't take any pictures of our time. Not sure why? I guess I am forgetting more often. Well we got somewhat caught up on all her and I have been doing since our last time together. I needed to get back to my little girl. She was getting out of class around 5pm.
Oh, this was the traffic I was dealing with coming back to the hotel.
Well folks I really didn't take many pictures of this trip. So, as our time winding down. We pretty much stayed around the pool and relaxed and did very little sightseeing.
But it was time to head back home and wash our clothes and get ready for our next trip.
Which is driving over to Sarasota, Florida. PLUS, WE WILL BE TAKING A CRUISE.
Overall, I have been reading in my Bible each day and it is pretty boring reading in Ezra. But the next book is Nehemiah, which is really some neat things to talk about.
Now as you can see, today is July 2nd. As our time kept flying by, I really just hung out and relaxed and enjoyed my time with Jeanne.
Next trip is a little more exciting. So, in the next few days I will try to get caught up.
