Jeanne and I drove over to Sarasota, Florida. This is the start of #2 vacation. Jeanne has a opportunity to take a few classes at Keiser University here in Sarasota. Jeanne has a good friend, and her name is Teresa (culinary teacher up north area) We had a chance to spend some time with her at our last stop in Orlando. She asked us to meet her at Libo Beach. So, we pulled in and just had a wonderful day hanging out here. I pretty much stayed in this area and just floated around and enjoyed the beautiful beach and weather.
Meanwhile those two went out to find seashells.
I just took this picture this morning. Jeanne got some real nice ones.
Teresa was telling us, while walking along the beach that there is a Ice Cream Stand that have Amish Ice Cream. The sign above YODER'S, means Amish. (I was told) .
The poor girl there was having some trouble getting the ice cream out of the buckets. But at the end we all enjoyed different flavors.
After eating our ice cream. We headed for Keiser University. Jeanne and Teresa needed to check in by 5pm. So from there we headed to our hotel. We are staying at the Homewood Suites. We have stayed here a couple of other times, when we came this way.
That is correct we are eating at one of our favorite restaurants, of ALL. FORD'S GARAGE. That is a fact. We both love coming here and getting a great hamburger and just the ambience.
I got the Estate Burger. Very tasty and just enjoyable. Make sure you get the onion rings instead of fries.
My little girl ordered a Custon Burger, she got bacon and all kinds of goodies on it.

FORD'S GARAGE IS THE PLACE.
As today is July 5th, I finished reading Easther in my Bible. If you want to read something that inspires you, this is the book.
It starts out, the King Xerxes gave a banquet for all of his princes and officials plus invited all the military officers of Media and Persia as well as the noblemen and provincial officials. This celebration lasted 6 months. When that was over the king gave a special banquet for all the palace servants and officials. Meanwhile (his wife) Queen Vashti gave a banquet for the women of the palace at the same time. On the seventh day of the feast, when King Xerxes was half drunk with wine, he told Mehuman, plus the 6 eunuchs who attended him, to bring Queen Vashti to him with the royal crown on her head. He wanted all the men to gaze on her beauty, for was a very beautiful woman. When she was asked, she refused to come. That made the king furious, and he burned with anger. He called on his advisers who knew all the Persian laws and customs, for he always asked their advice.
