We pulled into port during the night, and they parked the ship in its birth.
After we were docked, Orlando got on the loudspeaker and told us to start heading toward the 2 decks. To disembark.
We walked to the shore and waited for our rental Dune Buggies. The gentleman was very nice and will help us get settled in it.
Then he showed us the road we will be traveling on and where we are going.
It's the blue magic marker line. So, we will be driving around the bottom back of the island and then coming across in the middle, to get back to the ship.
We are riding with two sisters. I am sorry to say, I don't remember their names or where they were from. But they both drove. Jeanne and I just sat in the back seat watching all that was going on.
The funny part was I didn't bring my driver license with me today; it is still in our cabin. But Jeanne had her license with her, but they didn't even offer to switch seats. I did have a lot of problems getting into the back seat, with my left knee still not sending enough. But the girls helped me in and out by pulling the seat forward when I needed to get in or out.
Well, this was our first stop. Here you could go snorkel and swim in the Gulf.
You can see some of them did get the snorkel equipment and went out and did it for a little while. We talked with a few other guests that were with us, they told us to many people to snorkel.
I am not sure why, but I believe Jeanne and I went into the pool and hung out there for about an hour or so. I not sure why no pictures? There were another couple that joined us and just enjoy the water, and we got to find out about what they thought about the ship we were all on. Everyone was telling us, that they were really enjoying themselves and will be back to ride it again.
I guest we hopped back into the dune buggies and kept driving around the island.
We stopped here and walked around a little, looking at different shops and things.
Here is a selfie of our back seat and see how happy my baby is. I was very happy too.
As we were driving around here in Cozumel. Mexico, it really reminded me how Nassau looks driving around the island. So peaceful and lovely too.
I came in here and got a table for us to have lunch. Meanwhile Jeanne was checking things out.
I pulled the map out that we got when we arrived in Cozumel. (Below)
I needed to use the restroom and just took a short walk to find it.
I came back to the table and asked for a couple of menus.
I ordered a hamburger and fries. With the works. The sad part was it really didn't taste too good. I saw a couple of Potcakes. (Nassau stray dogs)
Jeanne was the smart one, she got wings and fries. Better choice. She even shared with me.
There was a couple of stray dogs walking around the restaurant and people were feeding them some of their food.
I spilt up the food and gave mine to them. They were not that hungry I guest.
I will finish. up the rest of our time at Cozumel. There are many pictures, still to come.
Today is July 12th, if you are looking at the date of the blog, I have been trying to start it the night before and finish it the next day. There are so many pictures to share.
I am still reading the Book of Job. I think I have a lot more to read before this book is done.
Read chapter 15 and 16 today, still pretty much Job sharing how unfair his life is going. Then his so called friends try to tell him that he must of sinned and the Lord is the judge. Which we all know that He is. But Job believes he needs to talk with God and let him fight for his freedom.
There are 42 chapters in this book and like I just told you I am only at chapter 17 tomorrow.
It is crazy how it's Saturday already and that means there are only three weeks left of summer for my baby and that means me too.
We are still very blessed and look forward in going to Calvary tomorrow morning and being refreshed by God's Word.
There are so many prayer requests, and He is just taking care of them in His time.
