These next couple of days are going to be kind of unique. On August 1st is Jake's birthday.

This is me making Choclate Chip Cookies. Yes, it's out of a frozen container.
It's a fun way to make them. No mixing just scoops out with an ice cream scoop put the tray into the oven and bake for 6 minutes and then pull tray out and rotate it 180 degrees and WOW there are Choclate Chip Cookies. Good tasting too.

As I was doing the cookies, my baby was making a cake and cupcakes.

Left is Bulgogi. The right is Hot Pork. These are Korean foods.
My little girl is Korean. These both are very tasty too. Cooked them on the grill.

Then we needed to grill some chicken. Okay what is this all about? Well, on Thursday morning, we will be celebrating Jakes birthday. Then in the afternoon we will be serving lunch at his grave site.
My baby put this on Facebook and evited people on Jake's Facebook.

Jeanne and I got there before sunrise. We are at some friends of ours. Les and Judy house. They live on the inter coastal. Indian River Drive. One more thing, Jake used in the apartment in front of Les's too. So, these guys become very good friends and use to wake up every morning and go down to the water's edge and drink their coffee and enjoy talking about what happen the day before.

This is where the party is. We took a walk across the street and walked down to the water's edge.

I guess I didn't take pictures of the seats, but this is the view each morning.

This is Jeanne, Jake and Kista. Krist was Jake's girl for over 10 years.

We walked back and hung out for about an hour or so. Had some breakfast and had some fun conversation with Jake's old friends and even our grandchildren too.

Okay it's around 8:00 or a little later. We need to get home and get the food ready for the afternoon luncheon.

After breakfast we loaded up a couple of tables and tent. Plus, we loaded up all the food plus drinks and ready to have another birthday party. Yes, that is correct. Jake's Birthday Party #2.
We got to the Hillcrest. Cemetary.  That is where Jake is. Jake would have been 47 years old today.

It really was a good turnout. I was really thinking everyone is working and how could they get off to come out here. But like I said, nice turnout. We did even have a Birthday Cake made.
Folks if you are not sure who this Jake is? This is Jeanne's only son. He had a heart attack on Dec. 9th of 2023. So, he knew many people and had friends and family too.
So, it was nice of them to stop by and grab a sandwich and a cold drink. Then we all sat around and talked about how they knew him.
Overall, it all worked out nicely.
Some folks stayed and helped us break down everything and load up the Kia and my little Ranger.
Got home and unloaded and pretty much crashed the rest of the evening.
Later on, around 4pm our niece and grandnieces and nephew came by and got some sandwiches and cake too. Jeanne was telling me that she would like to do this every birthday (Jake's)
I know this all-sounds kind of crazy, But, Jake loved his mom's cakes and sandwiches was something he would make when we would go out to dinner or even lunch time. He would ask for rolls, bread or whatever the restaurant has to make a sandwich, he would take and make up a couple of them for the next day (work) So, that is why we served sandwiches and birthday cake to everyone that came to visit.

Hello again, going to talk about the old shed in back.

When I started this project, I really was just thinking of running 12 wires to the back and hooking it up and let it alone. But as I have a ...
