Yes on the boat again. This time we have our daughter in law (Krista) and our granddaughter (Kashlyn) with us and heading out to catch some fish and enjoy this great day.
I think we got to the dock around 7:30am. This is very nice and early, there was only three trailers in the parking lot.
See the big smiles. We haven't done this is a while. getting these two on the boat. It's nice having them here.
We are heading out east (about 11 miles) to a spot that Krisa's friend gave her last week to try fishing at.
Hey, we tried and tried this and that. But no fish coming home with us.
Hey, I look at this time to relax and enjoy the gifts our Lord gives us each day. family and chilling out.
On the way in Krisa was talking with her sister on how they are heading towards the Cove. So, Jeanne told us that we will be stopping by and hang out with them a little while.
This is Krisa's sister Katlin and her daughter. (sorry don't know her name) But we just laid around on the water and just enjoyed the relaxing cool of the water. Meanwhile the tide was going out. Not thinking of it. We tried to push the boat out a little way to make sure we don't get stuck in the sand.
We tried about three or four times to push it out. No way is it moving. So Katlin's children and Kashin were on the beach hanging out and Katlin asked them to come out here and help us for a minute. They came out and Jeanne used the motor to pull the boat out to safer levels of water. I took the anchor out a way and put in the sand out there.
There a storm happening west of us. I kept my eye on it, and it passed by. There was some lighting and a couple of big booms. No problems. But we said our goodbyes and started heading into the dock. Krisa and Kashlyn stayed with Katlin and her children for the rest of their stay. They will drive them over to the dock and get her car.
Jeanne and I got in the dock and rinsed the motor and under the trailer.
Hey since the boat has been redid. I am trying my best to keep it clean and stop the rusting that happens. Since I have been with Jeanne, I just been using fresh water to rinse everything off. But now I use this product to get the salt out and off of everything that might rust.
Plus, I after washing the boat and trailer down with Dawn soap and our sprayer. After it somewhat dries. I spray WD 40 on the same parts that might rust. Like under the trailer. axles and brakes and anything that is medal. Even the back of the truck. The hitch and undercarriage. The rear tires and springs and the under the rear quarter panels.
What did I read this morning?
John chapters 3 and 4.
Jesus Teaches Nicodemus
1 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council.2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”
3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. ”
4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.
8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
