The day after the 4th, got a call from Larry and Mary Ann (Vero Beach)

Well the last time I was here, Mary Ann asked me to trim this palm tree. Which I did. Now she wants to cut down. Okay I started on the top, thinking, cut off a little at a time.

Before I came out here, I stopped at Home Depot and bought a couple of 12" sawzall  blades. Which came in handy.

I just got on my knee pads and got down under the tree. Started cutting around the bottom. It went pretty easy. The reason is palm tree have a lot of water in them and they are soft. After cutting it down I needed to trim it flat. I think it looks great now Mary Ann came out an said thank you. Looking good.

I am very happy that I don't need to pick it up and throw into my truck, very heavy tree. The park will pick it up and get rite of it.

Now I needed to get up on the roof of their home. There is a small leak above the laundry  room. Do you see the crack there? Well I picked up a gallon of roof sealer at Home Depot too. Got the roller out and started spreading it in the cracks.

I ran the sealer all the way along the seam. Hey had a gallon to use up. That is where most leaks start. I am very far form knowing any thing about roof repairs.
Remember my house. I spent over $200.00 sealing my roof. I used Tar with the plastic mesh under it. Then sealed it with this kind of sealer. At the end I still had a leak. My leak was along the carport. no real problem with leaks inside. I think I even spent more that that on that roof? So I have pretty much stop trying to repairs roof leaks. But Larry and Mary Ann understand I am trying to stop them. I have sealed up their other roof before with this stuff. It did work for a while.

Had some left so I put the rest down on the roof of the house.
Over all I walked away with a nice bonus and everyone is happy.
There was a light in the dinning room that doesn't work, so I looked at it and told them it needs to be replaced. Larry told me, not to worry about it. He will have more work for me down the road.
So at the end of the day I was blessed and they were too.
Today is the 12th of July. I will be working on emptying the shed at the old house (2709) the one we auction in June. I need to get everything out by July 20th. So today is my starting day. Not really looking forward in doing it. But my little girl wants these thing and I will make it happen.
All I can do is say Praise HIM. Plus THNAK HIM TOO.
