The sun is shining and all is well. Drove down to the Jetty. Unloaded my bike and here we go again.
As I ride south on A1A the traffic is pretty much gone and there is so much peace riding.
I got to the one of the beaches there and looked around and this place is empty. Which is such a good thing. I laid around for about a half hour and the sun was hot.
Got back on the road and headed north again. It really is a nice ride.
This is at Blind Creek. It is like a small river running back and forth. This one is still looking good. The reason I say that is, this last week the news is telling us that the water coming from Lake Okeechobee as algae blooming in it and it will be coming our way. So far so good, nothing to report here.
I am very blessed to ride and just enjoy the view. As I ride I am talking with my Lord and just thanking Him for all I have and the ability to do it. Plus no flats. (MAYBE)
You can see the pumping is done and the beaches look great again. If you have not seen my blog in the last month or so. I have been coming down here and just looking to see how they are pumping the sand from the channel and filling the beach back up. It really was neat to see how they do that.
As I jumped back on the bike, I heard a pop. I rode about ten feet and something is wrong. The rear wheel is making some noise. Thinking maybe the tire is rubbing it side? It is not that. Plus I noticed the front tire was low on air. Okay what is going on? I loaded the bike back up in the truck and headed back.
I did stop and spend some time at the Flea market and boat show. I will write about that tomorrow. I drove over to the bike shop in Vero Beach. I asked them to take a look at the rear wheel. He put it up on their rake an notice the the tire is out of a line. So he tighten the spokes and got it looking good. Mean while I thinking about the front tire, why is it low? I asked John (I think manager) If they sold Gator tires. he told me the Continental Gator Hard Shell is the best they carry. $69.99.
This is the tire I had on there. Plus I had a liner too. The guy there taking the tire apart was about to get real up set. He was having trouble getting the tire apart. But at the end he got it and John, standing there next to me, told me that those liners are a pain in the butt. Plus the tire I am getting put on doesn't really need that.
Okay after spending $85 + I have a newt tire and it should last me another year or so. It was worth the money. As I looked on and watch the pro try to take the tire off.
I got home and relaxed a little and got cleaned up and meet up the folks at Meeting Up. I will share more this coming week.
I am so blessed to not have to change my tube out as I rode and now I have a peace of mind that I should need to in the next year or so.
As I ride, I know He is right there with me and all is well. Praise Him today.
