Drove down to the shipping company that they use. It really was a fun ride down and back. The traffic was nothing compared to I thought it would be.
These are just a shot of the Golden Glades area. I use to drive this area many times a day. That is when I drove a dump truck for Madsen/Bar. The dump truck was filled with 57 rock, which means the size 3/4" Boy those days I use to make some real good money. But it was hard work driving and keeping from getting hit.I remember one time driving down town Miami and going around a corner a little to fast. I looked in my rear view mirrors and saw some rocks roll off the back end. That taught me to slow down and think about how I could roll over pretty easy with a full load. Oh one more thing I learned back then, always wipe the sides and tail gate off of the loose rocks. I was in front of someone, They came around in front of me and blowing their horn. I pulled over and they said some rocks fill off and broke their windshield.
Not sure but that cost our company some money to replace it. So if you ever follow behind a dump truck, please say back ad least 50 ft or more, that could happen to you to.
I think after that day we put signs on our truck say that. Stay Back 50 Feet.
Rush hour in this area was crazy. The way this is laid out and how you have to switch lanes to get over to get off 826 and get on 95. The traffic was always backed up here.
