I received another blessing last night.

This young lady is Karen. We have known each other for over 15 years +. If you check on my blog last week. She works at the Broward Performance  Arts Center.

During our time there. She was asked if she would like better seats and if she would to go to the Silver Intermezzo Lounge? Sure!

Well this was so nice. We had a chance to seat down and enjoy some fun food. Plus cokes. Now if we were those that drank other than soft drinks. Free.
Okay as we had something to eat and then our seats were right next to the sound board. Now these were great seats. I promised her I would not take any pictures or even videos. I did tell her I took some the last time I was there. So we had a chance to see and listen to Johnny Winter's brother Edgar and his band. Which they sang Jumping Jack Flash. Plus others. Plus The drummer from Rare Earth, don't know his name. Vanilla Fudge. Savoy Brown, great guitarist. Folks the place was jumping and rocking.
Oh the name of the tour was
Rock N Blues Fest. Here is the write up. Karen e mail me this yesterday. I tried to get into Broward Performance Center web page about last night, gone. Thank you for e mail.
Venue: Au-Rene Theater at Broward Center
With the sudden passing of celebrated blues guitarist Johnny Winter, his brother Edgar Winter has vowed to continue on in Johnny's memory. The Rock 'N' Blues Fest featuring Edgar Winter, Vanilla Fudge, Peter Rivera formerly of Rare Earth and Savoy Brown's Kim Simmonds, will continue as a tribute to Johnny Winter. The musicians will perform many tracks that Johnny Winter made classics including "Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo," "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" and "Johnny B. Goode" and others.

Giants of rock and blues bring hot fun in the summertime to the Broward Center with the Rock 'N' Blues Fest. Joining Edgar Winter, with his monster FM radio hit "Free Ride" and the chart-topping rocker "Frankenstein" is the rock band Vanilla Fudge featuring original members Mark Stein on organ, lead guitarist Vince Martell, drummer Carmine Appice and bassist Pete Bremy. Get ready to rock with "You Keep Me Hangin' On," a slowed-down, trippy, hard-rock cover of a song originally recorded by The Supremes, which features Appice's energetic drumming.

Enjoy it, Jumping Jack Flash. Just double click, it is You Tube video.
Thank you again Miss Karen, wonderful evening.
