Okay, I needed to drive down to Fort Lauderdale, I had to get some paperwork form the county.

So, we had to park at a parking lot garage. So, we are here, why not walk around and check this area out. It has been a while since I have been in this area. Riverwalk. So just started next to where the office build is and headed south to the river. 

We started going along the river heading east. Folks this place has gotten so much better than the last time I was down here. (2004) I used to ride my bike down here and ride along the shore. I don't remember the beauty before. They have really cleaned up this area and it sure was so nice and relaxing too.  

The buidling you are looking at is the air vent for the tunnel below us. If you read the following pictures you can see what this is. 

Then dug this tunnel out many years ago, it's US 1. I think this is the only tunnel in Florida. 

Now my crew is looking at where to go next. 

We heard some people talking about a ferry that is free and will take you back west and drop you off. So we waited about 5 minutes and boarded the ferry. 

While on there the gentleman explained a few house and buildings to make it like a tour guild. 

That is the ferry we rode back to the parking lot. It really was nice and the cost is FREE. But he asked for a tip. So, we gave him something. 

It's kind of hard to see, but there is a gentleman playing his piano. He kept playing the same lyrics, but I think he was blind and looked like he wasn't doing well. So, he had a tip jar, next to him. I hope folks gave to him. 

I think this area; there was signs on trees and the area itself. 

We are back where we started out at. headed towards the car and left. Now we will be going to Char Hut, my favorite place to get a hamburger plus onion rings. 

Now this picture shows the Old Riverwalk Area. We didn't stop here. We are getting very hungry and want to get back home before dark. 

Folks I didn't take the time to read my Bible. I am sorry for that. 

I am trying so hard to keep up on everything that is going on at school and around the house too. 

Just to let you know Jesus Christ LOVES YOU VERY MUCH. 

Just have to ask Him into your heart and He is there. 

Thess guys are just reminders that He is with you each and every day. Just trust in HIM TODAY. 

I try each day to hand some of them out to whoever is willing to take He. 

What I see on the news and just so much happening around the world, we all need PEACE OF MIND. 

He Jesus, will give it to you. JUST ASK HIM INTO YOUR HEART PLEASE

 

 

My best friend and his wife drove down here to our home and spent a week with us.

These are my friends Meg and Don. They live up north and needed to get away from the crazy cold weather that has been happening even down here. Two times this Winter we had a freeze. Just before they came down, I had to pick up all my wife's delicate plants. (orchids are the main one). We have a barn like and a screen room that I move them into. So, far I believe they all made it those freezes. 

Okay back to my friends, they drove in on Friday evening and were somewhat hungry for something to eat. I am not sure what we ate, but it was a time to talk about their trip down and what they would like to do, while here. 

I am not sure where this is, but you can see a beautiful rainbow.

From here we headed south to Stuart.

Got down here and parked and walked around and stopped in different shops and food places. 

This is right on the Indian River (Inter Costal Water Way) I think they just finished up having a band play some music and I know there would have been dancing too. 

Here is the band packing things back up. 

We were talking about getting some ice cream and her we are. The place is called Kilwins. Jeanne and Don went to Google and found out this store has a chain of them around. 

We were getting ready to leave and I saw this young lady making Waffle Bowls. I thought that was kind of neat. 

We popped back in our car and started heading back home.

It was really nice to show Stuart off a little and needed the walk too.  

Today I have been reading Book of Amos. Wow, I am not sure if you have ever read this book in the Bible. But folks this is telling of the future of Israel and looking at the news, it might be happening right now. I have only read the first two chapters, but it sure is getting intents. 

Please don't watch the news every minute there is. The reason I say this is life to short and while watching the news you might think it will help you understand what is going on but think about how it can waste your life away, there really isn't anything you can do to stop what is happening. So, please just ask Jesus Christ into your heart and ask Him to help you thru the day. 

He loves you VERY MUCH.
