I dug this fence post up about three, may even be four months ago.

My plan is to get the boat alongside of the house. So, I needed to pull this fence post out. This was a big move for my baby. Once I pulled this out, we are starting to make the gate larger.

Okay, So, I was going to attach the larger and smaller gate together. This way I think it will look better.

Well, I got it all done. It took me a couple days to get it all together.

I got the wheel on, and all should work great. Okay, now I need the approval from the boss.

Well, I baby came home and walked over and told me, WHY DID I DO IT THIS WAY????
That is correct, I did it my way. She doesn't like it at all.

Okay, ad least I have a pattern to set the holes correctly.

Now I have the two larger gates put together.

I put the smaller gate on the other side. Here you can see how much I need to add to the chain link fence to make is all nice.

This all went together in about 4 hours.

This is how I expand the railing. Now I need to buy a piece of chain link fencing.
Home Depot has 10-foot x 48" I need to order it online.
I do have a couple of texts asking if anyone has any chia link fencing.
I am so blessed to have this opportunity to have this beautiful home and get some work done around here.

Ok, Jeanne and I had a wonderful Valintine's Day.

Well, it still is a school day. So, I helped set up the kitchen for Chef Gray. (that's my lovely wife, (JEANNE) Okay so the students will be here very shortly. Jeanne wants everything is place, so they can make Chocolate Covered Strawberries. Plus.

Here are a few of the items she used for the students to make.

She has white chocolate and dark chocolate. Okay. after our dinner with our grandchildren and daughter in law. You will see how nice things came out.

We needed to stop at Sweets Jewlery. Jeanne had ordered a couple items for Christa and Cashlyn. So, while waiting for Jeanne I was outside watching the Brightline Train went by. They have been trying to get a train station in Fort Pierce here for a while now. Prayerfully we will get it. I know Jeanne and I would really like that. This way we can hop on and go south or even north and west too.

Okay, our grandchildren plus mom showed up. We are at Francisco Italian Restaurant, in Post Saint Lucie. It worked great for Krista; they live down this way.  Plus, she didn't get out of work until after 6pm. Kind of a small place, but the food was pretty good. Plus, the company was excellent.
The folks around the table. Me, (Tom) my love, Jeanne, Cashlyn, Krista and Kaden. We had a nice conversation about the BIG BIRTHDAY PARTY. Yes, the children are getting older and next month, Cashlyn is going to be 16 years old, and Kaden will be 18. Plus, we got some what caught up on what has been happening.
Afterwards, Jeanne and I went back home and had a chance to have some snacks.

Hey, take a look at this strawberry. WOW, I think it is 3" across and 2 1/2" high.

Plus, my baby made some chocolate covered Oreos. Plus

BUT look at this beautiful STRAWBERRY. Now that was very tasty and filling, after eating pasta and bread plus. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and good time in getting together.
Hey, these grandchildren are really growing up fast. Kaden was telling us that him and his mom bought 2008 Dodge Ram Truck. I think he told us, $8,000. I have been looking at truck prices for a while now. They are going thru the roof on prices. The sad part is, Next week I will be taking my little Range for a ride over to Tommy Ray's Gauge. He will be putting in a 3L 6 Cyn. (rebuilt) engine in her for $3,400.
I did talk with another mechanic, Mark Up in Vero Beach area. he was telling me that I should put in a brand-new motor in it. This way you should not have any troubles with it for at least 50,000 miles, maybe more. He gave me a price for double what Tommy rate. He thinks $7000.
Well, I have taken money out of the 401A. To cover the cost for Tommy's work.
I have been thinking, this to me is the best way, for the money. The body on the 1998 Ranger is in great shape. Transmission sound good. I did have Tommy, put in a new fuel pump last years.
My prayer is, Please Lord help me know which way to go. Folks I really don't have money to waste.
I have looked online for many things. Even a rebuilt engine. Cost run from $1,500 and up. Tommy told me, if he is going to do it. He wants to buy the motor. He told me that he has been dealing with this company for many years and they have not steered him wrong.
I will keep you posted on that after I drop it off.
My prayer is, Lord please guild and direct our steps and the path you want us on.

So, what are you doing on Valentine's Day?

Well, my wife is letting the students have a wonderful day. They will be making Chocolate covered Strawberries. Chocolate covered Nutty Bubbies. and Oreos. Oh, plus Pretzels. This morning Jeanne and I set these tables up, so each student can make their own. That is 8 tables with all the
fixings they will need to make everything up.

The last thing we needed to get ready was soften up the dark chocolate.
Meanwhile the student started coming into the classroom. I need to get going and she was ready for them. Now my only question is, were they all good to go into the kitchen?
I have a list of items I need to get done today and its chilly outside. So, I am blogging now, and I will go outside afterwards.
This Valentines Day we will be going out for dinner at Francesca's Latin Restaurant, in Port Saint Lucie. The children (Kista (mom) Kadin and Cashlyn) are meeting us there at 6:30pm tonight. So, prayerfully I will get some pictures to share this next couple of days.
Folks I know this day is set aside for family and couples. Please contact them. Life is very short.

I think I did this repair on Thursday Feb. 8th.

This is my wife's car. Kia Sorento (2011) This is the passage side headlight problem. I have rewired this before. I used these blue clips. That just snap over the old wire and new. I went on YouTube to find out why I could not pull the headlight out. They showed me that there is one more bolt under the headlight inside that needs to be unscrewed. you need to take the two top blots out that hold the headlight in place. Plus, the two bolts and (4) plastic screws that hold the grill in place. Then that bolt under the headlight inside the engine compartment. Then just pull it out straight.

This is where I put the new light connection in. I had to cut the old connection out and replace it with these.

You can see the green corrosion. That is where I used those blue clips. Had to cut them out and start all over again.

As I wanted to change out both headlights. I had to take this one out too. The wire is way too short. I was going to replace it,but said next time.

These are the new bulbs I put it.

This is the old style bulb. I will keep both of them, just in case I need to replace them, later on.

Okay I will do another project. These lenses are very dull. and hard to see during the nighttime.
as I am getting a little older each day, I have problem driving at night. The headlights that are coming towards us are very bright and sometime hard to see the road. That is why I put the better bulbs and now try to clean the lenses up. I saw this on You Tube. The guy used 3M protect rubbing compound. It cost $18.+. at Advance Auto. I went to Walmart trying to find it there. They don't carry 3M rubbing compound. So, I saw Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound and got that for $6.+  I am thinking, I used this before, many years ago and it worked then. Why not now?

I used it and let it set for a little while, after it dried. I got out the Ryobi bluffing wheel tool. For polishing our vehicles and boat even.

See how dull my little girl's headlight are?

Did the same thing just rubbed it on and then buffed it off.

I did the same on my baby's big girl truck. 2004 F150. Looks much better don't you agree???

After doing all that, I got the hose out and washed her car and my little truck. Just to make them look even more happy.
Jeanne and I went to church this last Sunday and Pastor Craig had a panel on the stage. It was Pastor Jay, Pastor Craig, Dylan and Brain. These four guys all work together at the Crossing Community Church. It's on Indrio Road, in Lakewood Park area. Well, the panel was talking about sitting at the table of our lives. You know when you sit down with your family, Are, you always wanting to sit with other Christians? Or maybe not? They were trying to tell us, who did Jesus sat with? Sometimes Christians. but most of the time, with Ordinary People. SINNERS. I know myself; I use to go out with others. I will use an example. Every morning, I get up I put on Pandora, Christian Music. A couple of days ago, my wife asked if I knew Toby Keith. he passed away last week. So, we have been listening to his music. Now there is nothing wrong with it. But it doesn't always talk about our faith. But it does bring back some old stuff, I remember.
Okay back to who sits at our table? Sometimes others. We as Christians, we need to invite those that don't know Jesus. Just a side note, don't try to preach to them. That doesn't always help. We all need to just listen and just become their friend.
My prayer is, that I as a Christian I just listen and ask the Holy Spirit to use me.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.

This restaurant in on Rt. 60 heading from 95 to downtown Vero Beach. Autumn's Crab .  Walked in and sat down. Really kind of quiet for b...
