Hello everyone. Trying to do a couple of different things. Staying very active.

I am still living and doing a lot of stuff. Since I meet this young lady, I have been very busy helping here and there. I am doing great and really enjoying having her in my life.
You might not know? Her name is Jeanne and I have known her for over 20 years.I have not seen her for over 5 or more years. But ran into her at the church (The Crossing) and have been trying to get her to go our with me since.
As of Dec last year we have been going out and doing many things.
She works at a high school in this area. She is a culinary teacher there. So every morning I meet her at the school and help out there. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We sell hot  breakfast to the teachers there. During Monday and Fridays it is just bagels and muffins, coffee and  drinks.
Then during the week we have different lunches and dinners for the all kinds of events.
Just last week schedule, Tuesday we served the bus drivers, appreciation breakfast. Then Thursday afternoon we feed the Jr. Varsity football team. Then on Friday morning there was 9+folks that came in to talk with the school administrators, about grants. So we put together a great breakfast for them. Breakfast sandwiches, fruit and coffee and a couple of other items in the conference room. It all went well.
PLUS I still do jobs with Roy around the park here. It really has been a little challenging but I love it all. He provides and takes good care of me an her. I am very blessed.
So folks I still love you all out there and will try to do more on here when I have time.
You all know how much I love to share pictures and stories. So prayerfully I will take time to share down the road.
My prayer for our nation is, UNITY. Plus that we all can help others.
My Lord has been right along side of me and He is still using me to bless others, How about you????

Working on Memorial Day

As our morning started out, we went over to the house and started ripping and cutting out the ceiling. Boy did I get dirty.

Jeanne worked right along of me and we got a lot of it done. But as it is Memorial Day we are invited to one of her friends home for a picnic. So I kept om working until I needed to get cleaned up. Jeanne came back an picked me up.

She is such a beautiful woman. I am very blessed to cal her my girl friend.

This is at Pat's house. He does this every year and always has a nice turn out. Plenty of food and real nice folks.

This is Pat and one of his friends. I meet him but forgot his name. They entertained us with some great oldies.

This is Pat and his mom and Mike. (a friend of Pat's)

As the time was winding down we worked pretty hard this morning and need to get back home and rest up.
We said our good byes and were on on way.
It really was nice to meet some of her friends and just hang out a little.

Working on a project for my friend Jeanne.

Jeanne bought this house about 3 years ago. Thinking she would like to fix it up and move in here. But she would like cathedral ceilings. So above this ceiling here. There is two roofs. The a frame above and the flat roof you are looking at.

This is the flat roof above the ceiling. So we need to clean up the tar and rock and then cut the ceiling out.

The first couple days were a bear. Just trying to figure out how to get the tar roof off before I cut the boards. The reason I say this is. I just tried to cut the boards out and the saw zaw blade got filled up with tar an the blade would not cut any more. So I got some gas and put the blades in that to clean them up. That worked pretty good. But really was messy. The tar paper and stones and tar was very dirty and dusted.

After cutting some of the boards out. I got on top of the boards and just scarped the tar paper and stone up into pieces and dropped them thru the openings. .

I worked on this for four or five days and then Jeanne had the week-end off. So we worked together and it went well. She scraped and I cut the boards out.

It was a messy and dirty job. But after ten to fifteen days it was all cut out. I think that is how long it took?
But at the end it was done. Now we can get the dumpster and load it up.
The reason we waited on the dumpster, not sure about how long it would take to get it done.
So for three days I cleaned it all up.
I have been very busy doing this project and others around the park too. So that is why I have not been blogging.
So I will try to get caught up to date and see what happens.
It really has been a blessing for me to help her out an make some money to.
Over all it is a joy to be with her and able to help make her dreams come true.

This is Richie's home. Had to do a repair on electirc.

A while back Roy and I put in a micro wave oven for Richie. Well in a couple of days later Richie called me and told the micro was not working any more.
So mean while Roy left for their vacation, they (him and his wife Pat) drove up to Jersey and other parts up that way. So I guess I will be doing some work on my own.
Well there was no power coming out of the plug. Another thing was Richie wanted the oven up a little higher too.
So Richie and I took down the oven and I ran a new wire over to the side where and micro wave will be going.

That is working now.

As we rise the oven up we need to make more room for the exhaust fan. Which we did.

This is Richie and he is very happy to works and all is well.

Now I will need to come back and finish up the flooring, next time.
Hey I am being blessed each and everyday. Praise HIM

Another small project, Hurricanes are a coming. June to Nov 30th

I'm so blessed to be able to help others out and make some money too. Hey when I first moved into my mobile home here in Fort Pierce. I built hurricane shutters for all of my windows. In parts I had about $200.00 That covered 16 windows and one sliding glass door.
So talking with this guy Gary. He was asking me about shutters. I brought him one of inine and showed it to him. He really liked it. I told him for $250. I will build him 6 shutters. Which these are his.
I put them up at his house and he loved them. The rest of his house has clam shells.
So you really don't need as many as I have.

Like I said he was very happy and I was too.
Over all have been doing very small jobs. Most of the Snowbirds have left for the north.

Not sure which event this one is?

But I know we worked very hard to make it happen. As Jeanne is the culinary instructor at the high school here. She has the opportunity to show and let the students do some cooking and setting up the room. You know, like the dishes and glasses and what ever Chef wants done.

So as we all work in the kitchen an make it happen. It really is neat to hear her talk to the students and instruct them an just let them try to help out. As I have been part of her team now for a while. It is so neat to see how these kids have really starting to get the just understand how it all works out.
I am so blessed to be part of her team and just seeing how she reacts to the students and all that needs to get done. She is pretty level headed when it comes to making it all happen.
I am very proud and whiling to come along side of her and just be a extra set of hands to help out.

We had a chance to take a nice ride south.

I am not sure which day this was, but Jeanne call her friend Jill. To ask if her son Cody was working at the Golden Coral this day? Jill told us where it was and what time Cody got out of work.

So as we sat down to get some food. We stooped by the bakery to see Cody. He has worked there for a few years and really dose enjoy what he dose there. The story goes back a little while, see Cody was in one of Jeanne's classes, as she taught culinary at the collage in West Palm Beach area. Well Cody was a student there.
Meanwhile Cody has not seen Jeanne since then.
Well as Jeanne and walk over to that area. I am looking for a big smile on his. He really doesn't recognize her at all. In a way we kinda of scared him. The reason is Jeanne tried to talk with him a couple of times and he pretty much just wanted to do his job and leave him alone.
But as they talked a little more, Jeanne asked him if he went to collage? He told her yes. Then she asked if he remembered his teacher's name? He looked at here and and told her yes, Chef Gray. Now meanwhile Jeanne does have on her jacket she wore at school there. Now if she wore her jacket, he would have known her right away. But it took a couple of tries to let he mind wrap around who she was.

It was a beautiful reunion. He was so happy it was her. They talked a little while and walked around and introduced her to his bosses. Which made him and her very happy.
At the end we said our good-byes and it really a a wonderful time for her to see him and just share who he is and what he as become.
I am so happy we took that ride and she had the opportunity to get some what caught up on what he has been doing since school.
Ever since Cody was in her class, Cody's mom and his dad have been close fiends. So a while back we, Jeanne and I and Jill and Jim went out for dinner one night and Jeanne was asking about Cody, and all he has been doing at the Golden Coral.
So the small trip south was a wonderful thing. Plus we did some shopping while down that way.
I am so blessed to be part of the Jeanne and her family and friends.

By God's Grace I am stil walking and running.

I have  been having some trouble with my right knee. So last year I went to a Orthopaedic doctor. They took a couple of more X rays. I was there back in June of last year. Then I got a Cortisone shot.
It lasted for over 10 months.

As he was looking up my records. He told me that I have used up my options.I told him, not at all. I have only got one cortisone shot since June of last year.
He went back and looking and just took my word I was telling him the truth. So he told me that he would give me another shot. I really was hoping and praying it would last as long or even longer than the last one. Sad part is it is hurting already.
So I will try to live with it for now. Jeanne wants me to get a new knee during the Summer. I look at my funds and I really don't have it at this time.
Well Lord I trust You and will wait on Your timing and see what happens.
Praise HIM
I hope and pray that everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day.
Jeanne and her son and wife, we went out and had a loving breakfast and then in the afternoon, we went to see the Avenger's Endgame. It was great.
But was sad too. You will have to watch it to find out what I am talking about. SORRY.
It is worth the money and time. 3 hours long.
Well HAPPY MOTHER DAY TO ALL OUT THERE.
I love you all.

Small jobs here and there.

A guy named Dale, he wants some mulch. So I picked up two laods in day different days.

We worked on this for about 2 hours each time. So I  made $60.00 a load. Not bad for about 6 hour job, driving back and forward and laying it down too, with his help.

This is Randy and Elen's home. They asked me to come over and trim the back tree. That was over hanging their roof.

Now you can see the ladder is standing up right where I left it. A large wind came along and blew it down. I had to can a neighbor that lives a couple of doors down the road. The reason was Eleen was out shopping an Randy uses a walked to get around.

So Lyn came over an reset it for me. All is well now.

There were some larger branches. So I cut them in 2 ft lenght.

At the end all is well with Eleen and Randy and like I have told you before. The customer is happy all is happy.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.

This restaurant in on Rt. 60 heading from 95 to downtown Vero Beach. Autumn's Crab .  Walked in and sat down. Really kind of quiet for b...
