This is a job we did a little while ago.

Running electric out to the front of the house of Linda and Wayne. So it is funny, about year or many more? We ran some electric out of this box to the work shed for lighting and outlet too.
So here we go again. It is only a couple of outside lights out in front.

See the pipe running across the top corner of the house and carport.

Ran the line down the wall and then across under the carport.

The real neat thing is they work and all is well. Customer very happy with the lights.

Take down these old toilet paper holders and put up some new ones.

Looking good and happy again.

Replace the the fan in the bedroom and it works too. What a great day, we made a couple of bucks and everyone is happy.
Folks the time keeps going on and it feels like I am behind in all kinds things going on around me.
Folks today is Good Friday. yes you are correct Spring is here.
I want to wish you and your family a HAPPY EASTER DAY.

Saturday night going out to dinner.

This Red Crab is in Jensen Beach. About three weeks ago, we went to the Red Crab in Saint Lucie County So thinking lets try the other one in this area.

This is what my baby ordered. I think she told me it was Crab, Shrimp, potatoes and corn plus a couple of eggs.

I know my little girl enjoyed this to the fullest. She sat there and ate almost all of it. I think our next time to one of these Red Crabs, I will get this. It tasted great.

I ordered the shrimp dinner. It was okay. I ate all of the shrimp, gave the fries to the kids.

Okay you can see how everyone is enjoying their food. This is Jake's family.
The reason for this diner was to celebrate the kids birthdays.

Over all we really had a nice time. I know myself just siting with them, was fun and enjoyable.
But as we wrapped up, I know my baby and myself was looking forward in getting back home and wanting some rest.
Sunday we pretty much stayed home and Jeanne worked on some school work and I did lay around all day long.
Waking up on Monday, I followed Jeanne to school and helped her get things in order there.
As for my day I will be working with Roy on a electric job.
Hope to have some pictures tomorrow on what we get done today.
My prayer is safely and just enjoy making a buck or two.

Okay this is Thursday, my baby wants to go fishing.

Hey we got out after we did some work on the boat. We have not been out since Sept of last year. So the boat and trailer were filthy. It had green in spots (mildew) black in others areas. You don't use it ,you loose it. Or need to clean it.
Just got out the pressure washer and some Dawn soap and looking good now. We didn't get out until after 11 am.
Okay now we did try to go out in the ocean, but really was rough. The waves were around 4 foot. So as we turned around and came in. We just started heading north on the Indian River (Inter Coastal) While riding around the small islands. We hit ground. That meant getting out of the boat and pushing it off the area it was stuck.
Okay Jeanne, Kaden and myself jumped over board. I had a hold of the front ,with a rope. Tried to pull it west. It would not move. So we pushed it east, using the wind an waves to get us off the shore line. Okay it started to float away. I had a hold of the rope and could not hold it in place. I just grabbed the rope an held on. Mean while Kaden got back into the boat the I told him to throw the anchor over board. Which he did an Jeanne got up and on the boat. I tried a couple of tries. Then got my legs up and over.
Looking back, I have to say I got a little worried. Thinking Carol Jean doesn't have a clue on how to operate this boat, that I know of. So throwing the anchor in was out safely net.
It is by God's grace that it all worked out. We tried a couple of times to get back on in the main channel. But being low tide we had to ride along in between the islands to find a deeper area to get the boat out there.
Okay we are looking good now, so we decided to do some fishing.
Well this is Carol Jean in the picture above. This is one of Jeanne's second cousins. She lives in Georgia. Just down this way for a little time away. She left on the next day (Friday) to get back home.

Kaden (grand son) sitting in back relaxing and trying to caught something. Which he did, got a small Grunt. Nothing to save. But he was the only one to caught something. Jeanne and Carol Jean got a couple of bits, but I didn't get ONE.

Here is my baby, Jeanne and Kaden just cutting up some bait.

I know he was very disappoint, but there is always the next time. Which as it stands now, not until Jeanne's shoulder is all healed up. She is getting it worked (surgery) on Tuesday  (March 23rd)

Hey right after school open up in August or so? Jeanne was walking through the court yard at the school, fell down, The reason is, she was looking for someone that she had appointment with and fell into a hole. Which there were two pavers missing. (WHY???) The real sad part is, These pavers have been missing for while now. I am not sure WHY? I asked a couple of other teachers there, they told us the pavers have been missing for many years and know that others have fallen in, before. .
Folks this DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME????
WHY NOT REPLACE THEM, We were told, it is not school maintenance's job to replace them.
WHO'S JOB IS IT?
They still have not been repaired and this is March. Jeanne has gotten Workmen's Compensation
That does not help, the pain she is in, the rides to the doctors. NOW SURGERY.????
This is SOOOOO WRONG. I want to do something.  But not my baby, she loves working there and you can fill in the blank?
Down the road she will need more doctor appointments and surgery too. The other shoulder and her knee too.
I know my GOD is with us. BUT He gives us wisdom each day. I just want my little girl feeling better and being able to do what she wants.
Please if you think of her on Tuesday, please say a prayer or two. Thank you in advance.

Our Saint Patty's Day meal is here an ready,

These are the folks that showed up. We did invited a few more, but these are ones that came. I am not going to name everyone.

We sat around and had corn beef, potatoes, cabbage and carrots for dinner. The dessert was apple cake, lemon cupcakes, that is what Jeanne made. One family brought Red Velvet cake and assorted other cakes.
At the end we were full to the top. I know I was.
It really is nice to have a beautiful home and a great wife to be a chef plus.
I believe everyone walked away and saying wow that was great food and some fun too.
The funny part was, we worked on cleaning up the back patio and furniture and all that was back there, so we could hang out there. But we pretty much stayed inside.
Oh well ad least it look nice out there.
Jeanne and I were talking about having a brunch during April and inviting everyone again for breakfast.
I think that would be great and even some more fun too.
Folks I really hope and pray you are doing well and that you are seeking our Lord Jesus Christ for all your needs. I know each day I thank Him for the day and His protection and sometime our wants are provided too.
He is listening and wants to hear from YOU.
Love you all out there.
Would love to hear, from  you too.

We are getting our home cleaned up.

Well folks we are straighten up our home and yard. The reason is we are having a Saint Patty's Day Dinner.
Let me go back a little while. As Spring Break is here. Jeanne needs to get all of her grades in before the week-end ends. So since last week, up to this last week-end she has been working very hard to make it happen.
Now our home is not a wreak, but it just needs some loving care. You know putting away some clothes. dusting the furniture, just over all, cleaning everything up.
But in the end it was all worth it. Our home has not looked this good for a while now. You know how our lives are so busy?
Jeanne teaching and I am doing side jobs. Plus trying to get things in order.
The really neat thing is this place looks great and very proud to show it off.
Last job is weeding, I hate weeding. But my baby went out there and kicked butt. All I needed to do was finish up with racking up the weeds.
Now we need to make up some good food for our guest.
Wednesday morning we got up and make it happen. I will share pictures tomorrow on how everything turned out.
Lord thank you for a hard working woman that loves me. I am so proud of her and all she does everyday. I know how hard it is for her some days. But in the end it gets done.
Guys I am very blessed to have a wonderful lady in my life and I pray one day He will provide you with one.
Please take some time and have a nice talk with Him and make sure you are reading your Bible each and everyday. He will speak to you too.

I just enjoy walking around this area. This was after the Farmer's Market. (Saturday)

This is a neat place to visit. On Feb 20th Jeanne and I got marries along the water's edge here. Since I have been living In Fort Pierce, I have enjoy this place. I just feel God's present here. Not because of the art work. Just a peaceful area.

Then you look over here and see this iron horse and a Indian standing there, beautiful.

This is the other side of this piece of work.
Folks we all need to find peace around us. I seek our Lord each and everyday and He gives it to me. But some nights I just can't sleep. Always have something to do. But, I know I can find rest in Jesus Christ My LORD.
Matthew 11:28 Come to ME (Jesus Christ) all who are weary and burdened, and I (Jesus) will give you rest. Then reading this below. PLEASE TRUST HIM TODAY.  I know He is listening to each and everyone of us each day and night.
Matthew 6:31 to 34.
So don't worry about having enough food or drink. #32 Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.
#33 and He give you all you need from day to day if you live for Him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.
#34 So don't worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will bring it's own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.

Tuesday, March 16, 2021

Hey folks, it is so nice to be able enjoy this beautiful weather we have been having.

We are at The Farmer's Market again, Saturday. Really don't have any plans to buy anything.

This is Connie and Butch's plaint stand, here at the market. These are good friends of Jeanne's family.
So every time we stop by to say hello and get caught up on how they are doing. Most of the time we buy something from them. But today we just check things out.
We have many plaints at home that we have gotten before. So right now we are all set.

This is Kevin's stand. Jeanne and I have been stopping by here, to get what he calls the Kitchen Sink. Which is fried potatoes, eggs with all kinds of different vegetables wrapped in them. We use to share one meal. But now we are buying two. The reason is they are very good and this day we are hungry. I think the last time we ate here, I ate more than half of Jeanne's meal. So now on, we each get one.
In the picture above you can see the line to order is. So over all if you get this way, please stop in and get a nice treat.

Hey this place is jumping. It really is neat to see this many folks out and just enjoying life. I am very blessed to have a wonderful wife that enjoys walking around and just hanging out.

We notice this new coffee shop across from where we parked the car. So as we walked back to the vehicle, we talked about maybe checking this new place out? Why not now, we are so close? Okay I really like the lay out of the place and the air was working very well too. Jeanne went up and got something like a apple fritter. It tasted okay. I was kind thinking wow, this is so small? But it was okay. Not sure how much it cost? But my little Jeanne was happy that we checked this place out.
It sure was a great day to walk around.
We are so blessed to be able to have this kind of weather in the beginning of March.
I have heard that up north it is cold and wet.
Praise Him for what we have.

My Jeanne's baby, 2011 Kia Sorento.

This picture was taken last year. We needed to have the windshield replaced. Not sure what his name was? But you can see the headlights on this car. Well about five or six months ago, the passage side  headlight burnt out. So I just unplugged it and replaced it with a new one. Well it seams the light goes out every once and while. So I twist it around in the housing. It works for a couple of days and then stops. The sad part was I was thinking it was a bad connection.  Which it was, BUT I didn't think it was this bad??

I took the bulb out and found the socket itself was burnt and melted. Wow that could cause a fire??
Okay, now what do I do. I drove over to Advance Auto and showed the guy there the part and what vehicle it came off of. He told me, sure he has those. Thinking, why? He was telling me, he sells these sockets all the time. I even talked to Jeanne's mechanic (Damien) I showed him the burnt socket, he laughed and said, he has a couple of spared ones in back. This was a week or so after I replaced it.

Got the part and tried to put it in. the wires on the wire harness were short. Which you can see the next picture about a customer replacing  his.

I just got two wire connectors and got my hands in as far as I could and made it happen.
The wires were way to short for the area you are working in. Maybe if I took the headlight assembly out it might have been easier?
But in the end it works and very happy we didn't have a fire because the socket.
Folks I really hope and pray you are getting out an just enjoying this beautiful weather we are having here in Fort Pierce. Today Jeanne and I will be going to the Farmer's Market. Looking forward in having some fun. My little girl has been working very hard on putting in grades for her students and trying to help them get a passing grade at the end. That means for her to talk with parents and guardians about their grades. The second semester is ending this week. Plus Spring stars today too.
That is correct, my baby has off this next week and prayerfully we will have some fun during this time.
I know she wants to go out in the boat and just do some fishing.

On Saturday evening we had a great dinner.

We had a chance to spend some great time with our friends the Cornett's. Julian works with Jeanne at Westwood High School. As Jeanne and I like to try different foods. So Julian and his wife have eaten here (Red Crab) a couple of times before this evening.
So why not give it a try.
As we sat down, Julian handed us the package that had some of our wedding pictures. He had them developed. Which was very nice. Those are the pictures I shared yesterday, on here.

This is called Low Boil. Not sure what that means? But this has crab, shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage. All I know is my baby just loved this meal.

It looks great, but the scallops' breading just was not that tasty. The onion rings were tuff. Over all not really something I will reorder the next time.
But as we sat around it really was a nice time to get caught up on all that we have been doing.
Please make sure you are seeking His Face and His love for others.

I am very happy to be able to share these pictures of OUR WEDDING. Thank you Julian.

Yes on February 20th 2021 Jeanne and Tom Schafer are one. MARRIED TOGETHER.

All these people were there to witness this glorious day.
Afterwards we went over to the Rooster In The Garden. This place was right round the corner in Fort Pierce, Florida.

This is the only picture that came out, some what nice.
But this was our breakfast with our family and friends.
Over all it was a beautiful day and just a great day.
I am very blessed and happy to be able to call Jeanne Gray my wife.

Sunday, March 07, 2021

Okay our last night at the Fair.

You can just barely see my little girl (Jeanne) in the upper left hand corner. But she was doing her ting. Making sure there was plenty of peppers a onions and whatever else was needed.

I was helping out in the drink department again. This is Faith filling cups.

Wendy over saw the making of the tea.

Branden was our dish washer.

Alberto was another helper. Bree, was another filler of cups. I was the the ice guy. You know filling the cups with ice. Pretty hard job. But we all got along and made the evening go smooth.

Our shift was 3pm to 7pm. during our time it was pretty slow. but like I said before, all was well. If you look you will see everyone was wearing their mask this evening. The reason was one of the cashiers  is a school board member and our manger asked us to.
As our shift was winding down. Jeanne got us a couple of dinners to go. One hamburger and collar green. The other was pork BBQ. and  bake beans (not really baked) You know Campbell's Beans.
Plus we shared a hot dog. Which was pretty good. Okay our last night here, what should we do???
Well took a walk down the food court. We got TWO (2) Funnel Cakes. One large bag of Kettle Popcorn. Mean while saw my buddy the Robot.

You can see people are more bundled up, this evening, than last one. Plus it seems like a smaller crowd too.

After getting our treats. We walked over and sat down and listened to the rock band that was playing under the tent. They really did a pretty good job. Played some oldies. Meanwhile we ate half of our Funnel Cake and headed back home. The temperature seemed to be dropping a little more than we like. But got home safely and just glad we had a chance to spend one more night at the Fair.
As today now, it Sunday this is the last day of the Fair and I am so happy we had the time to go and do our ting there. Plus eat some great treats too.
Well folks like it our day to go worship Our Lord Jesus Christ and listen to His Word today. I hope and pray you have the same idea. The reason I say that is, the way this world is going, I know I need to heard His Word to look forward to this next week and see what happens. All I know is, I CAN TRUST HIM.
Folks we all need to look up and thank Him this day.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.

This restaurant in on Rt. 60 heading from 95 to downtown Vero Beach. Autumn's Crab .  Walked in and sat down. Really kind of quiet for b...
