Re Take America and Canada.

Keep this going around the globe. Read it and forward every time you receive it. We can't give up on this issue.
Andy Rooney and Prayer

Andy Rooney says:
I don't believe in Santa Claus, but I'm not going to sue somebody for singing a Ho-Ho-Ho song in December. I don't agree with Darwin, but I didn't go out and hire a lawyer when my high school teacher taught his Theory of Evolution.
Life, liberty or your pursuit of happiness will not be endangered because someone says a 30-second prayer before a football game. So what's the big deal? It's not like somebody is up there reading the entire Book of Acts. They're just talking to a God they believe in and asking him to grant safety to the players on the field and the fans going home from the game.
But it's a Christian prayer, some will argue.
Yes, and this is the United States of America and Canada, countries founded on Christian principles. According to our very own phone book, Christian churches outnumber all others better than 200-to-1. So what would you expect -- somebody chanting Hare Krishna?
If I went to a football game in Jerusalem, I would expect to hear a Jewish prayer.
If I went to a soccer game in Baghdad, I would expect to hear a Muslim prayer.
If I went to a ping pong match in China, I would expect to hear someone pray to Buddha.

And I wouldn't be offended. It wouldn't bother me one bit.
When in Rome . . .
But what about the atheists? Is another argument.
What about them? Nobody is asking them to be baptized. We're not going to pass the collection plate. Just humour us for 30 seconds. If that's asking too much, bring a Walkman or a pair of ear plugs. Go to the bathroom. Visit the concession stand. Call your lawyer!
Unfortunately, one or two will make that call. One or two will tell thousands what they can and cannot do. I don't think a short prayer at a football game is going to shake the world's foundations.
Christians are just sick and tired of turning the other cheek while our courts strip us of all our rights. Our parents and grandparents taught us to pray before eating, to pray before we go to sleep. Our Bible tells us to pray without ceasing. Now a handful of people and their lawyers are telling us to cease praying.
God, help us. And if that last sentence offends you, well, just sue me.
The silent majority has been silent too long. It's time we tell that one or two who scream loud enough to be heard that the vast majority doesn't care what they want. It is time that the majority rules! It's time we tell them, "You don't have to pray; you don't have to say the Pledge of Allegiance; you don't have to believe in God or attend services that honour Him. That is your right, and we will honour your right; but by golly, you are no longer going to take our rights away. We are fighting back, and we WILL WIN!"
God bless us one and all . . . Especially those who denounce Him, God bless America and Canada , despite all our faults, We are still the greatest nations of all. God bless our service men who are fighting to protect our right to pray and worship God.
Let's make 2011 the year the silent majority is heard and we put God back as the foundation of our families and institutions. And our military forces come home from all the wars. Keep looking up.

If you agree with this, please pass it on.
If not delete it.

Tuesday, December 28, 2010

Well today is Tuesday the 28th of Dec.

I am not sure if you guys feel the same I do? But has this year flown by or WHAT? I was thinking about all the things that has happen this year and still can't believe it is the 28th of Dec.
There really are two things that are on my mind these days. January 2 2011, we will be having 154 students and leaders here staying here in the Bahamas. Now half will stay here at the Camp and the other half will be staying at a hotel. Now just think for a minute or two. 154 people we will say. We have three buses, each bus holds around 40 kids each. This is only one question. So I look to our Lord Jesus Christ and I know this will work out, not the way I want it to. But in His hands it will work. All I ask for is some prayers to ask Him to work this out. It talks about Faith in
James 1:5 If you need wisdom-if you want to know what God wants you to do-ask Him and He will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking.(6) But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect Him to answer, for a doubtful mind is a unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. (7) People like that should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
Then I am asking for another prayer request, I have been staring to feel under the weather lately. I don't want to get sick. I stayed home yesterday and just laid around. I took some NyQuil and fell sleep around 8 pm. Got up this morning, still not 100%. So today I will get all I can done and be in bed by 7 pm. All I know is rest is pretty much all I can do to feel better. Plus Prayer.
James 5:13 Are any among you suffering They should keep on praying about it. And those who have reason to be thankful should continually sing praises to the Lord.
If any one out there really knows me, I love the Book Of James. The reasons are, he is so real and he tells it like it is. James lived with Jesus, So if you want to read a good BOOK read your Bible and just enjoy His Word and let it penetrate you heart. If you are a new believer, please read John first. This way you can understand who Jesus is. Then read the Book of James.

Our Christmas Drive Thru is out on You Tube

Yes our video has made it to You Tube. It really came out pretty good. I have tried to watch it, but is stops a lot of times. So please if you have a around 20 minutes to watch something, this is video.
I want to say Thank you again to Abundant Life for all they did. They are the ones that put the video together too. Just being a light to help us out. During our time of getting this all ready, we really didn't have that much time to pull it all together. But Pastor Cranksen came to the rescue. It really was neat to see the people from Abundant Life Church come out and support us. Thank you again.
This is the web site you can see the video. Remember it is a long one to see every thing. Enjoy

I wish we all had this kind of sence.

*A Nativity Scene was erected in a church yard.
During the night the folks came across this scene.
An abandoned dog was looking for a comfortable, protected place to sleep. He chose baby Jesus as his comfort. No one had the heart to send him away so he was there
all night.
*We should all have the good sense of this dog and curl up in Jesus' lap from time to
time.*
*This is too sweet not to share.
No one mentioned that the dog breed is a
"shepherd!" *

Read the story above.

Today was a special day, CHRISTMAS

This was my yesterday, Got up feed the animals. Went to church. Drove over to Denis and Paul's home for lunch.
While there I meet some new people. By the picture below you can see, Grace, Paul's dad and mom, sorry but I only got their last name,Mr and Mrs Worla (?)then Chris, Paul, Denis, Micheal and then there is Ralph Hanna, Denis'daddy. Grace is from China. Her back ground is a teacher here at College Of The Bahamas. She teaches, Mandolin, it is a language that is spoken in China. Chris is taking her class at COB. That is why she was there. It really was nice to hear about what she thought of the Bahamas. She really likes this place and she has only been been here for three months. The way she gets around is by bus, Jitney's. Over all we just had a good time of talking and asking questions on all sides of the room. Paul and Denis are very blessed to have two good sons. They both are in collage now. Micheal is studying English, Chris like I said language.
I was suppose to be there by 4pm, I looked at my watch at Paul's home, it was 3:25pm. Okay I can make it? I got there at 4:15pm. Not bad for driving here in the Bahamas, no traffic yesterday. Like I said I got to Jerry, Barbra and Natan's home. Harri and Carol where already there. Pretty much just sat around and talked about all kinds of things, cooking turkey to what happen back when Calvary Bible first started. It really was a nice time of just sitting around and eating some good food.
There was one problem. That morning I put the horse and donkey out in the field. Around 7:30pm, we where getting ready to sit in the living room, then Nat said I need to go feed the dogs. Oh my, I forgot about the horses. I drove back as fast as I could. Got there and noticed the gate was partly open.(not sure why) Really OH MY NOW. Things going thought my head, did Gold Dust or Rue get out???? I drove to the back and saw both them, just standing there eating their little hearts away. I praise our Lord right there and told them all I was very sorry for forgetting them. We all came together and we are still family. The horse went running into their pasture. Gold Dust walked right into his stall. Rue,(donkey) was not in no hurry to get back into her stall. But after a little while all was well and I came home and watch a little TV and crashed. It really was a wonderful day and I praise my Lord for letting me spend a day with friends. I was full too.

What a beautful day with friends here

It is here, Christmas DAYYYYYY

I know so many of you are spending the day with friends and family. As it goes for me, I will be too. First I need to feed my family, the animals of ALC. Then I go to a neat church service, which is really about the kids. They come in their pajamas. Then pastor does a small message and the rest of the day you are to go visit and just enjoy ours company. I have a chance to go to a young couple's home for lunch. Then after that I will be spending the evening with another couple. I am so blessed to be called a friend here in the Bahamas.
I know if I was back in Florida, it would be a day of my sister and her hubby, then maybe church. Then friends after that. So it really doesn't matter where you spend your Christmas, as long it is around family and friends.
The Monday is another blessing for me. I get to help out at the church and we have a lunch for the neighbors. It is called Boxing Day Luncheon. I am so blessed to see and spend time with others.
I pray that you do as much or even more to spend that time with HIM the day was made to honor Him and to understand why He came into this world to save us. Please take the time to read in Luke 2 The real reason for the season. Jesus Christ is why we have this day and realize He is right there along side of you. Then please read John 3:16. This is the real reason for His coming to this earth, that He made.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALLLLLLLLL

The old man sat in his gas station on a cold Christmas Eve. He
hadn't been anywhere in years since his wife had passed away. It was
just another day to him. He didn't hate Christmas, just couldn't
find a reason to celebrate. He was sitting there looking at the snow
that had been falling for the last hour and wondering what it was
all about when the door opened and a homeless man stepped through.

Instead of throwing the man out, Old George as he was known by his
customers, told the man to come and sit by the heater and warm up.
"Thank you, but I don't mean to intrude," said the stranger. "I see
you're busy, I'll just go."/*

*/"Not without something hot in your belly." George said.

He turned and opened a wide mouth Thermos and handed it to the
stranger. "It ain't much, but it's hot and tasty. Stew .... Made it
myself. When you're done, there's coffee and it's fresh."

Just at that moment he heard the "ding" of the driveway bell.
"Excuse me, be right back," George said. There in the driveway was
an old '53 Chevy. Steam was rolling out of the front. The driver was
panicked. "Mister can you help me!" said the driver, with a deep
Spanish accent. "My wife is with child and my car is broken." George
opened the hood. It was bad. The block looked cracked from the cold,
the car was dead./*

*/"You ain't going in this thing," George said as he turned away.

"But Mister, please help ..." The door of the office closed behind
George as he went inside. He went to the office wall and got the
keys to his old truck, and went back outside. He walked around the
building, opened the garage, started the truck and drove it around
to where the couple was waiting. "Here, take my truck," he said.
"She ain't the best thing you ever looked at, but she runs real good."

George helped put the woman in the truck and watched as it sped off
into the night. He turned and walked back inside the office. "Glad I
gave 'em the truck, their tires were shot too. That 'ol truck has
brand new ." George thought he was talking to the stranger, but the
man had gone. The Thermos was on the desk, empty, with a used coffee
cup beside it. "Well, at least he got something in his belly,"
George thought.

George went back outside to see if the old Chevy would start. It
cranked slowly, but it started. He pulled it into the garage where
the truck had been. He thought he would tinker with it for something
to do. Christmas Eve meant no customers. He discovered the the block
hadn't cracked, it was just the bottom hose on the radiator. "Well,
shoot, I can fix this," he said to
Himself. So he put a new one on.

"Those tires ain't gonna get 'em through the winter either." He took
the snow treads off of his wife's old Lincoln. They were like new
and he wasn't going to drive the car anyway.

As he was working, he heard shots being fired. He ran outside and
beside a police car an officer lay on the cold ground. Bleeding from
the left shoulder, the officer moaned, "Please help me."

George helped the officer inside as he remembered the training he
had received in the Army as a medic. He knew the wound needed
attention. "Pressure to stop the bleeding," he thought. The uniform
company had been there that morning and had left clean shop towels.
He used those and duct tape to bind the wound. "Hey, they say duct
tape can fix anythin'," he said, trying to make the policeman feel
at ease.

"Something for pain," George thought. All he had was the pills he
used for his back. "These ought to work." He put some water in a cup
and gave the policeman the pills. "You hang in there, I'm going to
get you an ambulance."

The phone was dead. "Maybe I can get one of your buddies on that
there talk box out in your car." He went out only to find that a
bullet had gone into the dashboard destroying the two way radio.

He went back in to find the policeman sitting up. "Thanks," said the
officer. "You could have left me there. The guy that shot me is
still in the area."

George sat down beside him, "I would never leave an injured man in
the Army and I ain't gonna leave you." George pulled back the
bandage to check for bleeding. "Looks worse than what it is. Bullet
passed right through 'ya. Good thing it missed the important stuff
though. I think with time your gonna be right as rain."

George got up and poured a cup of coffee. "How do you take it?" he
asked./*

*/"None for me," said the officer./*

*/"Oh, yer gonna drink this. Best in the city. Too bad I ain't got
no donuts." The officer laughed and winced at the same time.

The front door of the office flew open. In burst a young man with a
gun. "Give me all your cash! Do it now!" the young man yelled. His
hand was shaking and George could tell that he had never done
anything like this before.

"That's the guy that shot me!" exclaimed the officer.

"Son, why are you doing this?" asked George, "You need to put the
cannon away. Somebody else might get hurt."

The young man was confused. "Shut up old man, or I'll shoot you,
too. Now give me the cash!"

The cop was reaching for his gun. "Put that thing away," George said
to the cop, "we got one too many in here now."

He turned his attention to the young man. "Son, it's Christmas Eve.
If you need money, well then, here. It ain't much but it's all I
got. Now put that pea shooter away."

George pulled $150 out of his pocket and handed it to the young man,
reaching for the barrel of the gun at the same time. The young man
released his grip on the gun, fell to his knees and began to cry.
"I'm not very good at this am I? All I wanted was to buy something
for my wife and son," he went on. "I've lost my job, my rent is due,
my car got repossessed last week."

George handed the gun to the cop. "Son, we all get in a bit of
squeeze now and then. The road gets hard sometimes, but we make it
through the best we can."

He got the young man to his feet, and sat him down on a chair across
from the cop. "Sometimes we do stupid things." George handed the
young man a cup of coffee. "Bein' stupid is one of the things that
makes us human. Comin' in here with a gun ain't the answer. Now sit
there and get warm and we'll sort this thing out."

The young man had stopped crying. He looked over to the cop. "Sorry
I shot you. It just went off. I'm sorry officer."/*

*/"Shut up and drink your coffee " the cop said./*

*/George could hear the sounds of sirens outside. A police car and
an ambulance skidded to a halt. Two cops came through the door, guns
drawn. "Chuck! You ok?" one of the cops asked the wounded officer.

"Not bad for a guy who took a bullet. How did you find me?"

"GPS locator in the car. Best thing since sliced bread. Who did
this?" the other cop asked as he approached the young man.

Chuck answered him, "I don't know. The guy ran off into the dark.
Just dropped his gun and ran."

George and the young man both looked puzzled at each other.

"That guy work here?" the wounded cop continued./*

*/"Yep," George said, "just hired him this morning. Boy lost his job."

The paramedics came in and loaded Chuck onto the stretcher. The
young man leaned over the wounded cop and whispered, "Why?"

Chuck just said, "Merry Christmas boy ... and you too, George, and
thanks for everything."

"Well, looks like you got one doozy of a break there. That ought to
solve some of your problems."

George went into the back room and came out with a box. He pulled
out a ring box. "Here you go, something for the little woman. I
don't think Martha would mind. She said it would come in handy some
day."

The young man looked inside to see the biggest diamond ring he ever
saw. "I can't take this," said the young man. "It means something to
you."

"And now it means something to you," replied George. "I got my
memories. That's all I need."

George reached into the box again. An airplane, a car and a truck
appeared next. They were toys that the oil company had left for him
to sell. "Here's something for that little man of yours."

The young man began to cry again as he handed back the $150 that the
old man had handed him earlier.

"And what are you supposed to buy Christmas dinner with? You keep
that too," George said. "Now git home to your family."

The young man turned with tears streaming down his face. "I'll be
here in the morning for work, if that job offer is still good."

"Nope. I'm closed Christmas day," George said. "See ya the day after."

George turned around to find that the stranger had returned.
"Where'd you come from? I thought you left?"

"I have been here. I have always been here," said the stranger. "You
say you don't celebrate Christmas. Why?"

"Well, after my wife passed away, I just couldn't see what all the
bother was. Puttin' up a tree and all seemed a waste of a good pine
tree. Bakin' cookies like I used to with Martha just wasn't the same
by myself and besides I was gettin' a little chubby."

The stranger put his hand on George's shoulder. "But you do
celebrate the holiday, George. You gave me food and drink and warmed
me when I was cold and hungry. The woman with child will bear a son
and he will become a great doctor.

The policeman you helped will go on to save 19 people from being
killed by terrorists. The young man who tried to rob you will make
you a rich man and not take any for himself. "That is the spirit of
the season and you keep it as good as any man."

George was taken aback by all this stranger had said. "And how do
you know all this?" asked the old man.

"Trust me, George. I have the inside track on this sort of thing.
And when your days are done you will be with Martha again."

The stranger moved toward the door. "If you will excuse me, George,
I have to go now. I have to go home where there is a big celebration
planned."

George watched as the old leather jacket and the torn pants that the
stranger was wearing turned into a white robe. A golden light began
to fill the room.

"You see, George ... it's My birthday. Merry Christmas."

George fell to his knees and replied, "Happy Birthday, Lord/**/
/**/Jesus"

Merry Christmas!!

This story is better than any greeting card./*

Hey what a great day ahead.

Yes last night was our Christmas Drive Thur. These are the numbers we have come up with. Friday we had 92 cars, Saturday night was a wash out, raining all day and even during the night, (good call) Sunday around 250 cars and then last night we think we had around 100. So The numbers are low, but guess what? He was still glorified. The people that came Thru were the ones He picked and that is all that matters.
I can tell you this, Abundant Life's church sure has some very loyal people. I was asking the people in the cars, how did you find out about our drive thru for Monday night? The reason I asked was, we didn't plan on doing it on Monday night. But because of the wash out on Saturday, we thought, why not. So Mark made up some signs and put them on our A frames. It only said Monday Night. Where we before had the dates. So some of them said, by the signs. But really neat answers were. The people from Abundant Life that they came out.
So I take my hat off for all they did and how we made it happen. They really did bless us and I know from talking with chorus and others that helped us out. They were BLESSED TOO.

Good morning to all my friends and family.

I just want to let you all know that last night's drive thru was canceled. It was raining on and off all day long. So around 5pm I started going around turning on the lights. During that time I was asking God to stop the rain and let this happen. So while the lights were burning I just went around to see. We do have some problems. Around 6:30pm we decide to canceled the drive thru. There was only 4 cars waiting out side our gate, to come in. Plus only half of the people showed up to do the playing of actors.
Our plans are to do it tonight and tomorrow night, God Willing.
My plan for today is to get all the lights up and running again. I really am needing prayers for this. What I saw last night was not good at all.
This is not against our Lord, He could have stopped the rain but decided not to. There is a reason and I will not know until one of these days when I see Him. Looking back, maybe someone could have gotten shocked or even worse. I am sorry to say. While we were putting up lights we ran out of plugs and things to connect the wire together. So most of the wiring it taped. Just think about that for a minute. You could be standing in water and one of the wires could be in the same water. NOT GOOD. I really am glad we didn't do it last night. Today we would all be sick and not willing to come out again too.

A Deck of cards, it is long but worth the read.

It was quiet that day, the guns and the mortars, and land mines for some reason hadn't been heard.

The young soldier knew it was Sunday, the holiest day of the week.

As he was sitting there, he got out an old deck of cards and laid them out across his bunk.

Just then an army sergeant came in and said, 'Why aren't you with the rest of the platoon?'

The soldier replied, 'I thought I would stay behind and spend some time with the Lord.'

The sergeant said, 'Looks to me like you're going to play cards.'

The soldier said, 'No, sir. You see, since we are not allowed to have Bibles or other spiritual books in this country,

I've decided to talk to the Lord by studying this deck of cards.'

The sergeant asked in disbelief, 'How will you do that?'

'You see the Ace, Sergeant? It reminds me that there is only one God.

The Two represents the two parts of the Bible, Old and New Testaments

The Three represents the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.

The Four stands for the Four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John .

The Five is for the five virgins there were ten but only five of them were glorified.

The Six is for the six days it took God to create the Heavens and Earth.

The Seven is for the day God rested after making His Creation.

The Eight is for the family of Noah and his wife, their three sons and their wives -- the eight people God spared from the flood that destroyed the Earth.

The Nine is for the lepers that Jesus cleansed of leprosy He cleansed ten, but nine never thanked Him..

The Ten represents the Ten Commandments that God handed down to Moses on tablets made of stone.

The Jack is a reminder of Satan, one of God's first angels, but he got kicked out of heaven for his sly and wicked ways and is now the joker of eternal hell.

The Queen stands for the Virgin Mary.

The King stands for Jesus, for he is the King of all kings.

When I count the dots on all the cards, I come up with 365 total, one for every day of the year..

There are a total of 52 cards in a deck; each is a week - 52 weeks in a year.

The four suits represent the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

Each suit has thirteen cards -- there are exactly thirteen weeks in a quarter.

So when I want to talk to God and thank Him, I just pull out this old deck of cards and they remind me of all that I have to be thankful for.'
The sergeant just stood there. After a minute, with tears in his eyes and pain in his heart, he said, 'Soldier, can I borrow that deck of cards?'
Please let this be a reminder and take time to pray for all of our soldiers who are being sent away, putting their lives on the line fighting.
Pray for the Military.
Please keep the wheel rolling. It will only take a few seconds of your time, but it'll be worth it to read on....
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.Protect them.Bless them and their families
I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Amen

When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our servicemen and women all around the world.
There is nothing attached, but this can be very powerful.
Of all the gifts you could give a Soldier, prayer is the very best one.
Do not stop the wheel, please -- just send this on.
When forwarding, please keep this letter clean by deleting all forwarding information from the subject line and from the top of the letter.

Look all,

I just want to make sure you all out there praying for us here at the ALC. This coming week-end is our Christmas Drive Thur. Dec, 17th to the 19th. That is Friday to Sunday night at 6pm. This coming week is our only time to finish up what needs that are left before hand. There has been two guys that have been working very hard to make sure we will make this happen. Their names are Jeremiah and Joseph. They came over with a little bit of help from Calvary Chapel to get this show on the road and ready by the time we need it to happen. They really have been a blessing. thank you guys.
There as also been very much part of all that has been going on here too. A church called Abundant Life. Pastor Cranston has been the drive to keep this going. His church people have been showing up almost every night to make it happen. Which if you look at your day today is the 11th of Dec. That means there is only 6 days left to be ready. I see by the lights we are pretty much ready to rock. But I have not seen them start making the back sences? I was told that they have them pretty much made up at their church already. So today is our last Saturday to have every one come and give it our best. I need to work more on the back lights. I have been having troubles with shorts on the outlets. I pray today that will be fixed and ready by tonight. I hope to have some pictures tonight of the lights to share with you. I have attached a video we did last year. It starts out dark but it gets better. So now you can understand how we need to bring this up another notch.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydJBsNJxPYY You will need to cut or copy and paste this on your inter net that you use to see it. ENJOY.

Please take a minute and read this, I think you will relly enjoy this.

Someone has written these beautiful words. Must read and try to
understand the deep meaning of it.
They are like the ten commandments to follow in life all the time.

1] Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble,
but it is a "steering wheel" that directs the right path throughout.

2] So a Car's WINDSHIELD is so large & the Rear view Mirror is so
small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, Look
Ahead and Move on.

3] Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes few seconds to burn, but it
takes years to write.

4] All things in life are temporary. If going well enjoy it, they
will not last forever. If going wrong don’t worry, they can't last
long either.

5] Old Friends are Gold! New Friends are Diamond! If you get a
Diamond, don't forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you
always need a Base of Gold!

6] Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, GOD smiles
from above and says, "Relax, sweetheart, it's just a bend, not the end!

7] When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities;
when GOD doesn't solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities.

8]A blind person asked St. Anthony: "Can there be anything worse
than losing eye sight?" He replied: "Yes, losing your vision!"

9] When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them,
and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone
has prayed for you.

Enjoy, I know I did.

Well, here is the cure.....

Just smile and say...

Dear Lord,

I know you're watching over me

And I'm feeling truly blessed

For no matter what I pray for

You always know what's best!

I have this circle of E-mail friends,

Who mean the world to me;

Some days I 'send' and 'send,'

At other times, I let them be.

I am so blessed to have these friends,

With whom I've grown so close;

So this little poem I dedicate to them,

Because to me they are the 'Most'!

When I see each name download,

And view the message they've sent;

I know they've thought of me that day,

And 'well wishes' were their intent.

So to you, my friends, I would like to say,

Thank you for being a part;

Of all my daily contacts,

This comes right from my heart.

God bless you is my prayer today,

I'm honored to call you 'friend';

I pray the Lord will keep you safe,

Until we write again.

Mondays pretty much the same each one. What ever?

Like I have talked about before. I have things to fix, but then there are things that I can't fix. The reason is God has something else for me to do. Yes I got up and worked on the back hoe. Found out it was just a HEATER hose. Praise God. The reason I say that is down here we don't need a heater in our back hoe. I cut the line and just put a bolt in the end and wella. Okay tried to start it. It just didn't want to do that. So I put more diesel in her. Tried again, no. I pulled the fuel filter and saw it was full of junk. I took it off. Started to leave, Mark and Stacy came by to see how the fire was. I told them it was going the other way. I looked up and saw no, it was moving towards us. I knew I was blocking the main gate so the fire trucks could get in. So I decided to take off and go buy another fuel filter. 3370. It is made of plastic and shaped like a box. It is not a spin on style. So there is no way of by passing it. really no choose. I went to one shop, no didn't have. I called Mark asking how is it going? He said he called the fire department and they were on their way. I drove all the way up town area to get the filter. Started driving back. Mark called again, fire truck is here, how long? I told him I was close. I got back there and put the filter on. Would not start. I bleed the lines. Still no go. I got out a can of silicone and sprayed it in the intake. It started, but dead after done spraying. So I asked Mark to sit on top of the hood and spray while driving out of the way of the fire trucks. Got it moved and I praise my Lord for brains and His way of doing tings. Mean while the fire people went on to do their jobs. I worked on the old girl. I kept on trying to bleed the lines. No fuel was coming out at all. I pulled the fuel line off and found nothing coming. I went back to our trailer and got a air tank. I got back and blew some air in the line. Wella. she ran great. I think it is just junk in the tank. It ran great all day long. I cleared out a lot of trees and bush.

Another day of fixing and fighting.

It is funny how we make plans for the day and He has othert things for us to do.

Sunday was like any other Sunday. Got up and clean up my place and wash the truck. Every thing looking good.
We have a guess staying at our Camp this week end. Her name is Stacy. Her and her hubby are part of the board that over sees the ALC/Camp.
So Yesterday we left for church and did all that. Had lunch at Wendy's. We were driving down the road and noticed there was a lot of smoke ahead. I was thinking it was the junk yard down the road from our Camp. I have shown you pictures on that before. But coming closer to the Camp, noticed the gate was open. drove in and saw a fire truck next to the cabins. Drove in back and got out and saw the fire was behind our cabins. Helped the guys out a little. They said we should be okay now. Great I walked around and looked and it did look like we where out of the woods.
I left and started feeding the animals and got a call from Stacy. she tells me that she thinks #3 cabin is on fire. I dropped every thing and drove back and saw she was some what right. It was the leaves that fell on the roof. They were on fire. By God's grace it was a tin roof. So I helped fight the fire. Mark came to help too. I got the old John Deere, brought it back to the Camp and started tearing down trees. The old girl did great. She pushed them down like they were sticks.
Mark and I walked back to get our fire packs. These packs you carry on your back and they are filled with water. Like a large squirt gun. So we walked in back behind our land and started fighting the fire back there. I went and got old faithful John Deere. Drove in back and started reaping down trees that were in front of the fire. So the fire truck could drive in back. She did so well. Mean while Jeremiah and a couple of other kids came back to help us with the fire packs. Then coming back on our land, she blew a water hose. Over heating, not knowing this. I kept driving. Mean while she stopped running. I got some water for her. She broke down right at the exit where the fire truck has to get out. We got her running again. Drove her down our back road a little ways. Just trying to get out of the way of the fire truck. She did good.
We walked around and checked things out. Looking out the back of our land there was still a big fire going away from us. Pretty much things went okay at that time. last night walked around and we should be okay.
Today things are well. But I need to fix our old girl. Not sure what line broke or what. I will find out more after our time of prayer meeting this morning. (staff)

Yesterday was a busy day.
