Yes I had a table too, But if you look around you can see how pretty much every one else ha more to share. Next time I will have more stuff.

These are some of the tables that we had set up to share what each and everyone does in their minstries

This is the poster that is hanging in the hall way at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, Fl.

There is a older couple below I want to tell you about.

If you look below you will see a older couple. They are Dot and Jim Goldie, They have been on the mission field for many years. Thier heart is working in Hungry. They came off the field about two years ago. So now what do they do? Well they serve helping out the mission department at Calvary Chapel. During our time there, Dot did the cooking. (I gained 10 pounds) Jim was the one that made sure we had what we needed and did it. During my time there I had a chance to help them out on a couple of tings. I really enjoy this couple and I know God has so much more for them to do. My prayer for them is, give them wisdom and peace as this time of their lives is to stay at Calvary and do what they do best. Servents to the Most High.

At this time I do want to say thank you to Pastor Jym and Pastor Chet for doing all of this for us. It really was a time to relax and just get to know some of our missionaries that are all over the world. I felt very much part of this group. I looked around and see families serving in countries that if you talk about Jesus you might not live the next day. I was very honor to be part of this group.
As people that have known me. I over the maintenace at the Adventure Learning Centre in the Bahamas. I don't have to worry about what I say to any one here. The reason is we have freedom in what we say and do here.
Where some of these folks are, that could be their last day on this earth if they talk with the wrong folks about Christ. I look back at some of them and say, Lord please protect them as they do Your work for the Kingdom.
I have more pictures to add and then will recap my trip later on. Thank you for your prayers and I ask now, PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR ALL  THAT TOOK PART OF THIS RETREAT.

We had a fun time eating some good old fashion hot dogs ad hamburgers

This was our last time of hearing from Pastor Chet. We had a beaitful time together.

This was just one of our times together. Praising Him and then hearing His Word.

These are th pictures that I used in my news letter below.

Tom Schafer’s New Letter July 3rd 2012 During this last year or so, I have taken a young man into my household. His name is Kevin Emmanuel Poitier. He is 17 years old, plus he will be going into the 12th grade next school year. He finished with a 2.55 grade. During his first part of the school year, he was not doing too well. But about three months ago, I made a deal with him to get his grade up. He has been such a blessing and I am so proud of him I have been part of a wonderful ministry called the Adventure Learning Centre of Nassau, Bahamas. While there I have the honor to oversee the maintenance at both properties Centre/Camp. We have been moving forward on our new Bath House at the ALC Camp. This has been a work in action now for almost 7 years. Last week we open up both sides of the showers. (boys/girls) Hopefully by the time I leave to go to Fort Laud, toilets and sinks will be in too. During July 16th to the 24th 2012, I am here for the Mission Retreat-Pastor Chet is overseeing during 18th to the 20th. While here you can get a hold of me cell # 954-655-2057. If you would like to have lunch or anything, please feel free to call me while I am here in town. I would love to share about all God has been doing in my life since I have been here at the ALC/ 2005. The cost of living here is much more than it is in Florida. Just think if you buy a jar of peanut butter here: $3.99. That same jar is $9.00. The reason is, shipping and duty on all things we buy there. Most times 50% mark up. If you would like to support me: Go to this web site: www.shepsstaff.org Please, look up Missionaries name: Schafer #4303. This is the way to get a tax write off. I have added a $1.00 Bahamian in this letter. I ask if you could please put this on your refrigerator and when you see it up there, say a prayer or too for us. Here is my e mail address: toms@alcbahamas.org This is the best way to get hold of me there, in The Bahamas. Plus I have a Blog: http://tombahamas.blogspot.com Thank you for your time and look forward in hearing from you. Bye Tom Schafer
