Before pictures

Hey i just want you all to know this.

A couple of days ago, our train axle broke in half. I looked at it and said oh well. Time to take it to the dump. I really was not thinking of the kids here. This is the only train on this island. These kids come here and ALL (even grown ups) want to ride the train. I have been here long enough to see their smiles and even waving their hands while riding it. To bring this all together, I am saying Bob has made it work again and we believe it is built even better that it was before. So I want to say thank you to Bob for pushing forward and letting God use him to do His work. The neat ting is these kids will be riding it soon.
During this time Bob and I will be cleaning it up and priming and repainting it. So the pictures above show what it looks like now. Wait until next week, you will see the finished paint job. Prayerfully, we need a air compressor, so please keep that in your prayers. Our compressor has run it coruse. Since I have been here we have gone through three of them. Not sure why? I just know when we receive a used one, it just doesn't last.

Finished product, IT WORKS AGAIN.

ATM machine, tings to know.

The recent tragedy of a young woman being kidnapped and eventually killed after she had repeatedly given the kidnapper a wrong PIN to her ATM card.If she knew the method below, she could have been saved. So I think it is important enough to let you know. ?Here you go.
If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse. ?For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321.
The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. ?The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.
This information was recently broadcast on FOX TV and it states that it is seldom used because people don't know it exists.

They don't have a clue?

Yesterday problem.

Yes yesterday our poor train front axle broke in half. It broke on one of our trails, so we had to tow it back to the trailer. Bob and I hooked up a couple of chains and lifted it up a little with the Bob Cat. Mean while towing it back I did some damage to the front end too. No real problem with that. So if you look you can see the axle broke on the one side (right). I am sooooooo happy BOB is here, I myself looked and said train is done!!!!! The place is the junk yard. BUT Bob said let us try this or that. So he welded a piece of steel under it. Then I found a piece of pipe and Bob cut it with the torch and bent it around the top of the staff. I will show the finish product tomorrow.

Yes our POOR TRAIN. Broken again.

A kid in Arizona wrote the attached PRAYER

NEW School prayer :
Now I sit me down in school Where praying is against the rule, for this great nation under God Finds mention of Him very odd. If Scripture now the class recites, It violates the Bill of Rights. And anytime my head I bow Becomes a Federal matter now. Our hair can be purple, orange or green, That's no offense; it's a freedom scene. The law is specific, the law is precise. Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice. For praying in a public hall Might offend someone with no faith at all. In silence alone we must meditate, God's name is prohibited by the state. We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks, And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks. They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible. To quote the Good Book makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen, And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King. It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong, We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong. We can get our s and birth controls, Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles. But the Ten Commandments are not allowed, No word of God must reach this crowd. It's scary here I must confess, When chaos reigns the school's a mess. So, Lord, this silent plea I make: Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen

The pictures below.

All these people are good friends of mine. That right I do have some friends????? Sorry about the shot of Billy, he is the one in the roses. You can see him and his new daughter under the first one. Tuesday night Billy and Lea asked Bob and Faye and myself over for dinner. It really was a nice time to get caught up and Bob and Faye had a chance to connect too. I think it is so neat to hear all that is going on in Billy's family life. You know he has not had a job since the summer? But our Lord has been very faithful to him and his family. I ask him how is it going? He tells me God has been paying the bills and that pretty much sums it up. Our Lord is into taking care of us and we just need to trust His plan and fly along side and thank Him each day for what He has given us. Billy was a teacher at one of the Christian schools here, but during the summer the school made other plains and Billy job was filled by another person. The really funny part is Billy still goes over there and helps them out. I really think our Lord looks down and said GOOD and FAITH FULL SERVANT. Billy has been looking for a teaching job, but right now he can stay home and work on his house and help his wife with the new baby. I love this guy and I ask for prayer for him and his family. One of these days that job will come around.

Hey we had a chance to get together

These are our neighbors next store.

Hey you,

It is so funny how I love to send pictures and try to do some ting on this blog. Well I do it and then I don't even look at it after I do it. I noticed this morning the double pictures PLUS I saw the title was miss worded. Sorry about that. Hey if you see a miss take in the blog. I would love to hear from you. The reason I say that I try but some times my spelling is not that great. I write a word out and then I hit spell check. That some times looks at the word and said what is he trying to say? So the spell check put up a word and I say that must be it. No really I would love to hear from you. If you have a story (short) you would like to share. please send it to me and I will use it on this blog.

This is our older lady.

What are you EXPECTING TODAY?

"…Open wide your mouth and I will fill it" (Psalm 81:10, NIV).
"Do you have your mouth open wide today?" In other words, are you expecting
God to fill you and increase you beyond measure? Negative thinking
closes you to what God wants to do in your life. If you go around
thinking, "Well, I don't think I'll ever meet my sales goals this year
with the economy like it is"; or "I don't think I'll ever get promoted.
I'm not that qualified"; or "I don't think I'll ever get well", then
the problem is that your mouth is barely open. But Jesus said,
"According to your faith it will be done unto you." He might as well
have said, "If you've got a cup, I'll fill you with a cup level of
blessing. If you've got a bucket, I'll fill you with a bucket level of
blessing."
Jesus is saying today, why don't you take the limits off? Why don't you believe for
supernatural opportunities? Why don't you go out each day expecting
increase and promotion? Expect favor, expect peace, expect joy. If
you'll go out each day expecting far-and-beyond favor, if you'll "open
wide your mouth", you won't be disappointed. He'll fill your cup until
it overflows so that you can live the abundant life He has in store for
you.
A Prayer for Today
Father in heaven, I come before You today with an open and humble heart, ready
to receive all You have for me. Teach me to live a life that is
pleasing to You so that I can be an example of Your love in the world
around me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

It is Monday and wonderful.

I received a e mail from my Pastor Bob. He is from Calvary Chapel, Fort Lauderdale, Fl. This was a web page he sent to every one that gets his devotions. Boy it hit me like a rock. He is talking about Courage. During these days I think and wonder how my friends are doing during these hard ship? You know seeing people loosing their jobs and even their homes. Reason is because of things we have done before. You know back in the 90's how we heard and found out that we can buy a larger house, or even buy more stocks. During that time we can call plenty time. Now is the time for us to dig in and push forward and realize we have to pay for it. PLEASE understand God knows all that is going on and He is right along side you as I write. This verse was given to me a bout 6 years ago. If came from a Pastor John from the same place Pastor Bob is from. He gave this verse to me to show me that I need to go to the next level of faith. During that time I was in a relationship with a beautiful woman. She was beyond my grasp. Her walk with Him was so much closer than mine. So Pastor John gave me this verse to be encouraged and push forward. I hope it will help you too.
1 Chronicles 28:20
And David said to his son, Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage and do it: do not fear nor be dismayed for the Lord God - my God- will be with you. He will not leave you or forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

We at Calvary Bible have recievd and apointed 7 New Deacons.

The two pictures you see under.

Yes Bob and I have been doing a lot of work around this place. Friday was a great day. First Bob and I took the old steering wheel off of the Solar Bus, we have pretty much retired her. The reason is, she has been run into the ground. The poor thing is so rusted out, that I have taken her off the road. I have made comments about her body flying forward when the bus stops. That is how bad she is doing. But the neat thing is we can take part off of her and still use them. The problem that happen with the Jungle bus, one of the interns tried to pull the turn signal handle up. So the high beams would come on. He pulled it and it broke off. The reason is the high beam and low switch in on the floor. So now we needed to repair the turn signals. We do need to still use them. So Bob and I took the old one off of the Solar Bus and it works great. Only cost the time. No money at all.
The first picture you see is the starter for our Jeep. This went out on Thursday. So we pulled it and I went down to a parts store and bought a new switch for it, cost $32.00. So this day went well and just enjoy the company of Bob. We really have gotten a lot of things fixed and I know there are more. He and his wife are here until end of March.
Now the sad part, Saturday morning early, 3am got a call that our alarm was going off. Two of the interns got the call and ran over. They saw a couple of guys, ages 25 and up. They ran after them. But they still got away. Found out that they broke down the door to the Tack room. Pulled down the alarm panel. Just rifled through the draws. Really not sure if they got any thing.
I came over around 6am and saw my truck has been broken into. They just like to break in and look around and steal my change. Plus they took some tools too. The only problem I have is the mess they always leave. Just throw the stuff around and gone. That is why I have been parking it over here. They have done this four times at my apartment. I guess I should be happy that they don't break the main windows. The back window that slides back and forward is their way in. Boy someone has to be pretty small to get into that window. Now I just leave the door unlocked. No I think I should but, then I will not be sure when they come to visit me?

These are just two items we worked on Friday

Sorry no pictures.

Hey I just would like to say hello and let everyone know that I am still plugging along here at the ALC. Yes it has been over three and half years and i believe I will be here for many more. Just a quit story. These last couple of weeks tings falling a apart still. One was the Jungle bus. We have had trouble with blowing the main fuse, 25 amp. Bob and I have worked on it and we think it is fixed, then I get a call form one of the staff telling me that the bus will not start. So Bob and I came up with this idea. It must be the starter. So Friday I took the starter down to this small shop and he gave it back to us yesterday. After charging us $140.00. But the great news is. We got it in and it seams to have fixed the problem. Thank you Jesus Christ for wisdom. Okay this is something else too. We have this Toyota 1991, it has been over heating since a year ago. I have replaced the radiator, water pump, hoses and anythings else that is relayed to the water system. I did a pressure test on the engine. it showed #1, #3 and #4 pressure was about 95 psi. Number 2 was down around 25 psi. So I think it is the head gasket. So we took it to this small garage and explained what has been done so far. he agreed is sound like the head gasket. he took it apart and found that the head itself is shot. Took it to a welding shop. he tells me the head is beyond repair. So there is this guy working at the same shop and he has a head for sale. It cost $150.00. Now I went online and looked for rebuilt head for, cheapness, $285.00. That is the cost there in the states. Now have to ship it and pay duty plus. So we bought it and brought it to the shop. he tells me that the head needs to be cleaned up. So i go back to the weld shop. It will cost $130.00 plus I need to buy a head gasket kit too. $80.00. Okay to bring this to a end. The garage that has the car now has the head and he tells me that we should get it back soon. So i will keep you guys informed.

The Wongs story

Su Wong marries Lee Wong. The next year, the Wongs have a new baby.
The nurse brings over a lovely, healthy, bouncy, but definitely a
Caucasian, WHITE baby boy.

'Congratulations,' says the nurse to the new parents. 'Well Mr. Wong, what
will you and Mrs. Wong name the baby?'
The puzzled father looks at his new baby boy and says, 'Well, two Wong's
don't make a white, so I think we will name him...

Sum Ting Wong

Time to trust HIM

We've all had seasons when the challenges of life feel overwhelming. During those times, it's easy to be tempted to talk about how bad things are. Maybe you received a bad medical report, or maybe you're facing a financial obstacle. But the more you talk about something, the bigger it becomes in your mind. Instead, you've got to dig your heels in and say, "No, I am not going to give life to that defeat. I am not going to speak sickness over myself. I'm not going to speak lack. I'm not going to speak fear. I'm choosing a different report. I believe the report of the Lord which says I am blessed. I am favored. I am prosperous. I am healthy. I am whole. I'm a victor, not a victim."Remember, even if you don't see how things could ever work out, God does. You've got to speak to those mountains in your life and declare favor over those situations. Instead of talking to God about how big your problems are, talk to your problems about how big your God is! As you speak to your mountains, they will be moved, and you will move forward into the victory God has prepared for you!
A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word which is life to my spirit. I receive Your strength today and choose to speak to the mountains, so I can move forward in the victory You have in store for me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

You never know WHEN God is going to BLESS YOU

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day, I thank You for my being able to see And to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are A forgiving God and An understanding God. You have done so much for me And You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought That was not pleasing to you.
I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe From all danger and harm. Help me to start this day With a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day To clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind That I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper Over things I have no control over.
And give me the best response When I'm pushed beyond my limits.
I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be A blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have Words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost And can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged And misunderstood. I pray for those who Don't know You intimately. I pray for those that will delete this Without sharing it with others I pray for those that don't believe.
But I thank You that I believe That God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member In their households. I pray for peace, love and joy In their homes; that they are out of debt And all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this Knows there is no problem, circumstance, Or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received Into the hearts of every eye that sees it In Jesus' name. Amen!

These pictures below are shown each day here.

Yes the people here know that there are troubles with pretty much and just over all wrong doings. The TV station that I receive is called ZNS This is the only station that is free and any one can receive it. The only reason I am showing you these are to let you know that we here know there is a problem and they are just trying all means to get the word out that you will go to jail if you get caught. I think it is a good reminder and a good way to let others know that there is a jail time for each of these areas.
Now if you see the second pictures down. Peeping TOM. Okay I didn't know that any one has been watching me?? No really where did that name come from?
Okay enough about that.
If you don't know it, it is cold outside today. Not sure what temp is. But I know it is around 50 or lower. It is nice to have some cooler weather but this is cold for me. I know you all know I came from Rochester NY. But that was 26 years ago. I have been living in warm and even hot Florida for the last 23 years. Then now here in the Bahamas for the last 3 and half years. So to me I am cold today.

These are the images that are shown on ZNS

Just like to share something.

Do you remember the story about the pump? If not you can see it below. Okay now the pump, that Bob found, It works great. Yesterday we gave it, it first real test. We have four sprinklers zones. The pump that was in there before, 2hp. That could only run one zone at a time. Yesterday I just started turning opening the zones one at a time. One worked great, then added another still holding pressure. then open number 3 zone. Yes it is still right there. Now put on #4 zone. This pump is running all four zones and holding 38 pounds of pressure. I know some of you out there are saying, what are you talking about???? Okay I am just trying to show you how God has so much more and better things for us when we wait on Him. If you read the story again. Just look at His timing and how He put us through some stuff to show us, that we didn't need to buy a new pump. Just used the one we have hidden. Plus we saved $655.87. Is that Not just cool???

Good day to all, I beleive we all should know this.

STROKE: Remember the 1st Three
Letters....S.T..R.
STROKE IDENTIFICATION
It only takes a minute to read this...
A neurologist says that if he can get to a st roke victim within 3
hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He
said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting
the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.
RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Thank God for the sense to remember the '3' steps, STR . Read and
Learn! Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify.
Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may
suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the
symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three
simple questions:
S
*Ask the individual to SMILE.
T
*Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
(i.e. It is sunny out today.)
R
*Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.
If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency
number immediately and describe the symptoms to the
dispatcher.
New Sign of a Stroke -------- Stick out Your Tongue
NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his
tongue.. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other, that is also an indication of a stroke.

Yesterday was a BUSY DAY.

Saturday morning started out busy and the the rest of the day was the same. GOOD BUSY, not that bad busy. BEING / UNDER / SATIN'S / YOKE. Remember what busy stands for?
Okay reading down this blog you will see a lot of new pictures. I love pictures they pretty much explained more than I can write about.
Okay Men's Bible Study first, great time. We had over 25 guys show up. Just seeing that alone can make you think that we are starting to work together as a team. I know Pastor Lee loves this and it shows we really do have some leaders in our church. Thank you Lord for this. I know it was all for HIM. The reason I say that is, you need to be there by 6:30 AM. So to see these many guys at that time. GREAT.
At 3pm we as staff at ALC have been invited to be part of Patmos #5 get together FUN DAY. Yes this time it is just a wonderful time to talk with the students and watch how they work as a team. The games we play might sound like little kids, that is okay. We are all God's Little Children.
First is a time for Pastor Chet to tell them about making up a song and a sign for their small groups. The pictures below are those. Then you will see them all in a circle. That is one of Pastor Chet favor games. Not sure of the name of it. Now that I think of it. I really can't explain it.
Then you will see students and staff running. That is the game that really shows if you have the gut. This game is, you run down to the tables and get a banana eat it as fast as you can. Then drink down a coke. Then you get to bend over and spin around this stick ten times. Now the fun part you have to run back to your team and the next one runs down and do all the same things. The last picture was a pie eating contest. I needed to get going after that for our Singles Meeting.
Now Singles we had a great turn out and by looking at the pictures you can see what we did. First prayer to start out. Then we all had a time to get a partner and ask questions about them. Then you had to get in front and explain to the people what you know about them. The next part was our time to share four people testimonies. That was me and then Jen Petty, Ambrose and the last was Veda. She is the one that over sees the Single Ministry. We all had some fun and I really do enjoy getting to know each other more. The last picture is Harold. It was Gina and Harold's birthday this last month. Sorry to say Gina was sick during this turn out. But she is in our prayers. One more things to share, Marvin is usually here. He has been dealing with some troubles. Please keep him in your prayers.

This was the start of getting to know each other

Really this is part two. One below is three

Part two of Calvary Single;s NIGHT.
