What waves are you looking at? Don't look away from HIM

“… Jumping out of the boat, Peter walked on the water to Jesus. But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, “Master, save me!” Jesus didn’t hesitate. He reached down and grabbed his hand. Then he said, “Faint-heart, what got into you?” Matthew 14:29-31 (MSG)
The call of discipleship is to follow after Jesus, even onto the water. In a sense, Jesus beckons, “Come closer to me. Be my disciple and learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I am the only way, so I require you to focus exclusively on me in your obedience.
Then, to underscore the need for this single-minded obedience, the Bible tells us that Peter became distracted. As he sees the wind whipping across the waves, Peter takes his focus off Jesus and he begins to sink into the water. His obedience is now double-minded – and he provides a profound object lesson in what happens when we try to serve two masters.
Here is the way of little faith: We want to walk on water; yet, we insist on being able to focus on whatever we want — sometimes Jesus, sometimes the wind and waves; sometimes Jesus, sometimes our careers and casual pursuits; sometimes Jesus; sometimes “the sin that so easily entangles” (Hebrews 12:1 NIV).
When we choose to focus on our cares and worries, we elevate our anxieties to the same status as the promises of Jesus. But, which is more important, which should demand our greater attention – the ability of Jesus to care for us or the concerns we have about our circumstances?
And so, rather than obeying the commands of Jesus, we demand he tolerate our distractions and double-mindedness. We live within a mythology that says we can somehow follow after Jesus, yet pick and choose what commandments we will obey — and when we’ll obey.
But, if we want to walk on the water with Jesus, we must hear his directing us, ‘Don’t look at the waves; look at Me.

This is one of our reptiles

Her name is Priscilla. I have been told, As I work here. I see that we do things a little different than what happen in the Bahamas, ALC. Here I have been told to feed our reptiles, fist of all, take them out of their cage and put them into this one. The reason is they don't get use to people feeding them. Plus I was told that when you feed them by hand, they might not know your fingers are different than their food. So her she is eating her food. Feed her four (4) mice. When we buy them they are in freezer bags and have to thaw them out first. But by looking on you can see she is very happy to be fed.
As she has been growing, thinking maybe she needs a bigger cage? We will see what happens on that.

Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13

I have been privileged to counsel personally thousands of people – men, women, young people, children – about their spiritual needs. The experiences that remain uppermost in my heart and mind have a direct bearing on this verse.
Helping people to see their truly desperate plight outside of saving faith in Jesus Christ is sometimes difficult, but what a reward awaits those who become aware of their condition. No matter what their background – criminal, alcoholic, self-righteous, or whatever – uninformed people need to recognize the fact that they are lost without Christ.
Accomplishing that purpose is a long step toward their genuine conversion, for I have heard many thousands come to the place where they do indeed “call upon the name of the Lord” and they are saved.
If you can help your loved one, neighbor or friend – or even a total stranger – to become sufficiently alarmed about their eternal welfare that they call on the name of the Lord, you have come a long way toward bringing that person to Christ in a saving relationship.
Some people are bothered by the simplicity of the gospel. I am grateful that it is so simple that anyone can understand, believe and receive. The promise of this verse is emphatic: “Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” Let’s believe and share it.
Bible Reading: Romans 10:14-17
Today’s Action Point: I will not let the utter simplicity of the gospel keep me from sharing the Good News that we need only call upon the name of the Lord to be saved.

Thank you Miss Betty from Nassau, Bahamas.
This young lady has been sharing God's word with a bunch of us for over 5 years. Keep it up girl.

This is a true story. Thank you Walter and Sandra

His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog.
There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.

The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.

'I want to repay you,' said the nobleman. 'You saved my son's life.'

'No, I can't accept payment for what I did,' the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.

'Is that your son?' the nobleman asked.

'Yes,' the farmer replied proudly..

'I'll make you a deal.... Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of.' And that he did.

Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted

Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.

Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia. What saved his life this time? Penicillin.

The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill .. His son's name?

Sir Winston Churchill.

It is funny.

It seams like I can not loose weight here? I ride the bicycle and never loose any weight? I walk around Calvary ad least 13 to 15 mile a day?
MAYBE IT IS THE FOOD I EAT?
NO, I need to ride more and walk more????
So how is every one doing? It has been a little chilly here in Coconut Creek area. The weather station tells me it is 53 outside right now.
Now think about this, look at New York now. Where would I rather be?
Thank you Lord for what we have here.

Today's FUNNY frorm Betty in the Bahamas. Thanks friend. REMEMBER THIS IS A JOKE.

As we start 2015, I want to thank each one of you for your educational emails last year. I am totally messed up now and have little chance of recovery.

I can no longer open a bathroom door without using a paper towel, nor let the waitress put lemon slices in my ice water without worrying about the bacteria on the lemon peel.

I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the number one pastime while driving alone is picking one's nose.

Eating a little snack sends me on a guilt trip because I can only imagine how many gallons of trans fats I have consumed over the years.

I can't touch any woman's handbag for fear she has placed it on the floor of a public toilet.

I must send my special thanks for the email about rat poo in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet sponge with every envelope that needs sealing.

Also, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.

I can't eat at KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes, feet or feathers.

I can't use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day.

Thanks to you I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward an email to seventeen of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.

Because of your concern, I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains.

I no longer buy fuel without taking someone along to watch the car, so a serial killer doesn't crawl in my back seat when I'm filling up.

I no longer use Cling Wrap in the microwave because it causes seven different types of cancer.

And thanks for letting me know I can't boil a cup of water in the microwave anymore because it will blow up in my face, disfiguring me for life.

I no longer go to the movies because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS when I sit down.

I no longer go to shopping centers because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.

And I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a number for which I will get a huge phone bill with calls to Jamaica, Uganda, Singapore and Uzbekistan.

Thanks to you I can't use anyone's toilet but mine because a big black snake could be lurking under the seat and cause me instant death when it bites my rear.

I can't do any gardening because I'm afraid I'll get bitten by the Violin Spider and my hand will fall off.

If you don't send this e-mail to at least 144,000 people in the next 70 minutes, a large dove with diarrhea will land on your head at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon, and the fleas from 120 camels will infest your back, causing you to grow a hairy hump. I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of my next door neighbor's ex mother-in-law's second husband's cousin's best friend's beautician!

This is our first night of the year for the Women's Ministry start up.

Well as I was standing there to see if we were going to need any more chairs. Wow they came and kept coming. It is so funny how our Lord works things out. On Wednesday night, in the gym there. the High School Ministry needed three (3) racks of chairs. So that morning Tuesday morning Brandon and Josh got the chairs there. All went well on Wednesday night. Even Scott and I thought about bring them back to the store room where they belong. But as the crowd was still hanging out in that area. We decided to wait until Thursday to move them out. So Thursday came and there was no one to drive the lift truck. So they stayed there during the day. When I came in Brandon and I talked about moving them. Still no driver for the fork lift. Okay need to wait until Friday now. That is so neat how our Lord lets thing happen. Now if the chairs got moved back to where they belong. I would have been in trouble on last night. We ended up using two (2)  full racks of chairs for the Women. The picture doesn't show a full house, but is was when I came back around 8 pm.
I just want to say Thank you Lord for Your wisdom and Your way of doing thing.
Hopefully today we can move them back and all will be well again.

Okay which one is the better price?

You buy this tool for $69.00. At Home Depot Store. Now this is all you get. The 18V Impact Driver.

Okay now go on line and buy this. Home Depot has items that they don't sell at their stories. Just like this tool. I have been shopping for many days. You know I only have so much money and I want to spend it the best way I can.
Now look at this 18V Impact Driver. It comes with the driver, battery and even a small charger. That right you get all of this for the wonderful price of $59.00. You read correctly, $59.00 with all the bell and whistles.
So folks make sure when buying things, look at all your options. You might get a surprise?
I did buy the whole kit. The four pack. Which was the same price as the store. But I got free shipping when I spent $100.00 or more. So I bought everything on line and saved even more.

I get to play with our reptiles here too.

This folks is Priscilla. She is getting larger each day. If you look you can see she is almost as long as her cage. Hopefully in the near future we will be getting her a large one.

This is Lizzy. She is a Berried Dragon. Now this is a pain in the butt top on here. What I am talking about is, every time you need to fill her water dish or even feed her. This large top has to come off.
I was talking with Josh maybe we can give put Lizzy in Priscilla's cage? Then buy a nice long cage for this area.
Like a aquarium style. Then put it right in the middle of this area and the kids walking by can see she on both sides.

This was the sky line yesterday afternoon. It is so neat to just look up and see beauty.

That is correct Jeremy is not single any more.

These two are now, Mrs Rachel and Mr. Jeremy Bastin. Yesterday afternoon these two tied the knot. It was a beautiful time of seeing a young couple becoming one. Scott, our boss did the wedding ceremony. Which went off with out a hitch. It really was very nice. I am very happy for those two. They are on a cruise as I writ this. Jeremy was telling me where they were going and for how long. Their first stop is my old stomping grounds. Nassau.
You can see how proud Jeremy is of his wife and just the glow around both of their faces.
I wish them many years of happiest and seeing them grow closer to the Lord.

Has anyone out there put a awning?

Well yesterday I really made some big mistakes. Not sure why? I just think I am doing good and then, REALLY?
Okay I will not go into what all happen. All I know is I have a good friend and I could have really blown that big yesterday?
Okay back to the awning. We started working on this ting around 10 am. Just having all kinds of problems. Meanwhile looking at the plans. They were just drawings. Really no steps by step. Well maybe there was step by step. But really not the greatest. The parts could have been labeled. That would have made the job much easier. You know Left or Right?
Okay we did this and that and more of thus and that. It keeps on drooping down to far. The point of pivot will not tighten any more. I went out and bought new washers, locking nuts and still droops.
After trying different things. It was getting late and let us take a break. I thought maybe put a bolt into the pivoting slot? But let us do that another day. We both were tied and just had to say no more for today.

That is correct, SNOW in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. (trucked in)

During this month of January. The students in elementary school grades are being taught about snow. I am not sure what and why? But I was talking with a teacher ( Mary) last week. The topical came up while I was in her classroom. I was looking at all the snow men and things like that in the room. I asked what it was all about? She told me that most of the students never have seen snow or been part of anything about snow. So as I listened I still was not sure why?
So on Monday while I was working I heard we had a load of snow coming in. Okay now this some what answers the questions? I think. So yesterday morning a load came and the kids had a chance to play it and just have some fun. It really was more like ice?

I have a good friend back in the Bahamas.

This friend of mine is one that when he eats certain foods, like the hot dog above here.

He really needs to take one of these to keep his body in check. Folks I know myself I have been very fortune that my body doesn't flair up and say we have a problem Huston. But if this helps people like it does my buddy. I praise God that it works. If you know any one out there that might have some trouble with certain foods, I believe these will help you. You can get these at Costco.

What have I been up to?

Yesterday I had a chance to do a little barbecuing at the main pool. It might not look that busy, but if you go into the parking lot. There are cars from every where, here. These guys are called Snow Bird. If you don't know what that means, they fly or drive down here during the winter months and stay until it warms up in the north.

By looking at the prices you could save much by buying volume. But as I was looking at these razors at Costco. It is cheater at Walmart. At Costco, on sale- $22.00 for 26 razors. Here at $9.97, to get 15.

This was last nights sun set. I wish I went up higher to see it better.

This was at Calvary on Monday night. It really is beautiful how He draws these skies and shares them with us.
I wish I had more to share, but as my life here is pretty the same each day. No real exciting things happening. Hopefully next week I will have some great news on something I have been trying to do for the last month or so.

The Let Go and Let God. Thank you Betty.

The Bible is the perfect place to turn when you are going through rough times. “Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken” (Psalm 55:22). These are true promises, with the seeds of inner peace hidden in them.
But it’s easy to misread these passages to mean that God is a magic problem-solver, a genie whose main job is to make us happy today. It’s easy to assume that casting our troubles on God means He will take our troubles away. Sometimes, though, He doesn’t.
I love the phrase “Let go and let God” because it sounds so simple. But there are times when we aren’t clear what it is we’re supposed to let go of. And there are other times we want to let go, we try to let go—and it just doesn’t happen. Why?
Sometimes there’s a difference in what we want to give up and what we need to release. We might be holding tightly to something we think of as good, like better health for a loved one or changed behavior in a wayward child. And though it’s never wrong to desire good things, there are times when we have to let go of what we think is best.
Other times we grip tightly to assumptions about the way life “should” be. We think things ought to be easier or being a parent shouldn’t be so hard. We fight what we’re being asked to do—effectively resisting taking up our cross (Matthew 16:24) the way Jesus commanded. Sometimes what we must give up are our preconceived notions of how life is supposed to work.
But in every case, what “Let go and let God” comes down to is this: We need to let go of our own will. We must claim as our own the incredibly hard prayer that Jesus prayed: “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42). We need to let go and let God do what God wills. This submission will lead to peace and joy, even when the way is difficult. “Father, I place my life in Your hands!” (Luke 23:46)

At Calvary the first Saturday of the month.

We have Reveal. Now this is a time set aside for prayer and worship. This happens right after the Saturday night service. Which is around 7:45 pm. I let after service and walked outside and sat on a bench. I have been asking God for some help.

So I went back in and and sang some more songs and just chilled. While the time Pastor Chet came out. I felt His (Lord's) presents. I have some things I am dealing with. Nothing to big for Him. But some days it is for me. This body of mine is wearing out and the old knees are not as strong as they use to be. Plus trying to buy a place. There are other tings I am dealing with too. But as I sat there and listen to Pastor Chet;s prayers and agreeing with him in all he was saying. It was nice. I hear people around me crying and there were others kneeing and I even saw one laying on the floor. Folks if you have not gotten down on your knees lately, maybe it is time. Remember He is a Holy God and we are just His people.
Pastor Chet asked people that were having health issues. To come forward. Then we all prayed for them. I really could feel His presents and I believe their were folks up there that believed they could be healed. They might very much were?
Then he asked for people that have addictions. Come forward, man I wanted to go forward, but thinking what if some one sees me? I stood at my sit and prayed there. We all have something we need to hand over to the Lord, if not yesterday you will today.
Folks we all need prayer and I just ask for your sack do it today, we never know what today will bring. Plus this could be our last day to tell a love one something. Please don't put it off. He is right next you as I write this and He is willing to listen. Call out His name JESUS.

Where does my peace come from? Jesus Christ. Thank you Betty.

Posted: 08 Jan 2015 12:02 AM PST
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)
When we look at the world news, our hearts tend to get frightened. So much unrest, violence, fear! Jesus predicted it would be this way. “In this world you will have trouble,” he said. “But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
How can we as Christians still have peace in our hearts and make a difference in our world? Paul gives us some practical steps: “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful” (Colossians 4:2).
Devote yourselves to prayer for your families, church leaders, governments, refugees…
Is there a friend or neighbor you could team up with for prayer on a weekly basis?
Being watchful. Instead of looking at the problem, keep your eyes on Jesus. As long as Peter kept looking at the Lord Jesus, he walked on water. The moment he focused on the waves, he began to sink. Readjusting our focus may mean spending more time reading God’s Word and less time on watching the news on television.
Be thankful that no matter what happens in the world, God is still in control. He is never ringing His hands saying, “What am I going to do?” The atrocities committed on innocent refugees, families, children and youths sadden His heart. Pray that they will feel God’s nearness and that they will get the help they need. Perhaps we can help with a donation.
Be thankful for your daily blessings. Write them down in a gratitude journal.
We can rest assured that no matter what happens in the world, Jesus Christ is still the victorious One and Our Sovereign Lord. “I know that you can do all things,” Job said. “No plan of yours can be thwarted” (Job 42:2).
Dwelling on Jesus’ words we can have peace.

Another night of all.

Then look at this sun set. he is right along side of us. As I have this opportunity to work at the church at night time. I do a lot of walking around. This is part of my job. It is called High Vision Walk. The purpose is to make sure the grounds and building are looking the best they can be. Plus if someone is in need of something. We are available for them.
The real neat thing is seeing these sun sets. I am in all every time I see them. He made that just for me. My prayer for today is enjoy what you see around you and thank Him.

Endurance and Encouragement devotion. Thank you Betty

Listen to God’s Word for you in Romans 15:4. “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”
One of the assignments against the people of God is to oppress them by wearing them down (Daniel 7:25). You may have experienced debilitating discouragement. You may feel assaulted and assailed from every side. In the name of the Ancient of Days, you can resist this oppression. Hear God’s words in 2 Chronicles 20:15 and 17. “This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.  For the battle is not yours, but God’s.  You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.‘”
You can be afraid and discouraged because of the vast army against you, or you can be confident and encouraged because God is with you. He is your hope and your victory in the battle. In His great heart He has a plan for your welfare, to give you a future and a hope. You are anointed with grace to stand with hope, encouragement, and positive assurance of seeing His goodness at work in your life. Run to the joy of the Lord that is your strength. Be blessed with endurance and encouragement as you stand in the One who fights your battles for you.
Look to your Father in heaven in devotion and trust. He is with you when you are discouraged and not at peace. His presence never leaves nor forsakes you. The name of the Lord is a strong tower to which you can run and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). Hide there in Him from the devourer and the accuser. Hide in Him from heaviness and discouragement. He wants to cover your weariness with His blanket of strength.
You have celebrated His intervention in your life many times and many ways. Be blessed to remember how He has shown Himself strong to you. You are blessed today in the name of the One who gives endurance and encouragement. He will continue to reveal Himself to you.
Jesus rebuked winds and waves, saying “Peace be still.” You are blessed by the One who stills the storms (Mark 4:39). Another time, Jesus commanded Peter, “Come to me.” Peter stepped out of the boat onto the wind-driven waters, but when he took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the waves, he sank. Whether Jesus stills the storm or invites you to come to Him on the water, you will be steadfast, immovable in Him, unless you look at the tempest. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He will come alongside, lift you up, strengthen, and refine you to bring about His sure purposes. You can stand in the rule and dominion of the Prince of peace. Be blessed in His great faithfulness to you that is new every morning.
Be blessed in the name of the One who bids you come (Matthew 14:29).

It is my day off, what should I do?

Ever since I got this new, old bike, The tires don't hold the air as good as the other bike I had. Every time I want to ride, need to refill the air. You can see how far down it is. But after getting it all the way up to 110 psi. Off to the races.

Every time I get ready to go, I say maybe ride west? Then I start out and say, no. I enjoy the sea breeze and I feel safer riding on A1A. So I got to the Pompano Beach and walked on the board walk and then started heading south on A1A.

Turned around and started back home and I felt the back tire wiggle a little. Stopped and found out I have a flat. No fun. It took me a little while to get the old tube out. The tools I have are more for the 26" tires. These are called 700's They are a lot smaller in withe. So the tool is to big to get under the tire to pull the tire off and pull the tube out. I used my truck key to get it started. Which worked out great.

I only took this picture because I have been seeing so many people riding on the side walks. Not sure why. If you look closely you can see the sign in the middle saying, Bikes Share The Road. The bicycles has the same rights as cars have on the road way.
Today need to go buy another tube and smaller tools to be able to replace the tube a lot easier the next time I get a flat.
Prayer never again?

Tuesday, January 06, 2015

I just remember I had the lock and core in my truck.

This is called a inter core lock. It fits inside the lock below. This is one of the three I had to throw in the trash. Sorry, I keep forgetting some to do. I have put the core in backwards. Then have done this twice. Didn't drop the top pins out before putting the new ones in.

This is the handle we switched out yesterday. Oh look below and see what I am trying to share. The story its right after this one.
Have a blessed day and my prayers are that we all seek His ways today. Enjoy life!

This is some of the stuff I get to work on.

This door handle is one that doesn't bonce back up.

This is Josh. he is drilling out a old lock system. This had a broken off key in it and he is trying to save the handle. Well after a little while the lock fell out. Now replace the handle on the door. See my job has different things about it. Josh has been showing and teaching me how to make keys and locks. If you have ever been to Calvary. You can see we have many of our doors still have locks on them. They have put up pass points at the main entrances. But still there are locks and keys everywhere. It is kind of neat to learn new things, but sometimes it is harder for a old man too learn new stuff?
As of yesterday, I had to repin a two (2) locks. As doing it, I forgot to let the top pins drop out before I put the new ones in. So trying to push the key in the lock, doesn't work. The reason too many pins are now in the lock itself. So guess what? The lock is garbage now. There is no way to get the pins out now. There are springs pushing down n the pins. This is the third one I have had to throw away.
Many this job is not my cup of tea.

Now this is a orange.

I got this at Wall Mart. Thinking a normal orange. But look at it and see it really is red inside. Which then I thought I bought Ruby Red grapefruits. Not, it was a orange and great tasting too.
Enjoy this day and praise Him for all we have.

When God is busy

If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!!
A United States Marine was taking some college courses between assignments. He had completed 20 missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "GOD, if you are real, then I want you  to knock me off this platform...
I'll give you exactly 15 min."

The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting."

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.

The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.

The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to,  noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, "What in the world is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

The Marine calmly replied,
"GOD was busy today protecting America's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid things and act like an idiot. So He sent me."

The classroom erupted in cheers!

Thank you Walter. A good reminder, we are here to be used by HIM.

The week-end is here.

My brothers and sisters,
I want to share a couple of simple verses with you today. As this new year is here. What have you thought about changing in your life? You know, most say loose weight, try to exercise more this year. May I suggest reading more. Maybe everyone out there now has to much on their plate and say, when will I ever have time to do that? You make time to watch the football game, Things you want to do.
Maybe this is the year you let God speak to you? You know like just read a Proverb. Just think how easy that could be. Now if you don't know this, there are 31 Proverbs. That right 31 so think about each day of the month. Just read that day's proverb.
Okay example: Today is the third (3) of the month. I read Proverbs 3 today. Two things popped out at me.
One: Verse 5-Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, don't depend on your own understanding.
Verse 6- Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your path.
Two: Verse 21- My child, don't lose sight of good planning and insight, Hang on to them,
Verse 22- for they fill you with life and bring you honor and respect.
If you have been looking at my blog at all. I have talked about what is next in my life? I believe it is buying a condo or something like that. Now to do that I need to Trust Him, which I am trying to. Then the next is Good Planning. So as I made up my budget and see what and where my money is going? Now I can really try to make it happen, BY HIS WILL.
While reading the Proverb you might say, it didn't say anything you me? Maybe it is for someone you can share with? Folks He talks to us each day and night. Are we willing to set time aside for HIM?
I would love to hear about what He is doing in your life: please e mail me at tombahamas7@gmail.com
He has a plan for each and everyone of us, let this year be the turning point of a new beginning.

I know Christmas is over and New Years too.

My question is, do you remember getting Christmas cards when you were younger? Well I sure do, It was neat to see how many you get. Okay let go back to Valentine's Day in 6th grade? Now remember how you wanted one from every one. Maybe even thinking if she gives me a card she likes me?
Well folks I received some myself. I thank everyone that sent one. Plus even a birthday card. I know in this day and age, e mail is one to send notes cards, pretty much any thing to show you love or just say hello. But when I get a card it means more to me. Thank you again.

 Enjoy.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!

These guys are my partner's in crime.
Josh,Scott (boss) And smiling Jeremy.
This is right after everything was set up on the turf. In about 20 minutes it started to rain a little. So everyone was moving the food and stuff into the cafe. But in about 10 minutes later gone. I believe it stopped because of the prayers that were happening.

In the hallway of the sanctuary there was photo booths set up. We had two guys just taking pictures of people in different setting. It really was kind of nice. Hey if I had a partner I would be in line too. They would take the picture and in a minute the picture was in your hands. Great job guys.

This is the early people coming in. As I walked by people standing in line to get into the sanctuary, which the time was 5:30 pm. I asked them if they knew the service was not until 8:30 pm everyone told me that they knew that. The doors open up at 7 pm. and the hallways filled up with all kinds of people. This place was getting ready to rock.

As the sanctuary was filling up. I needed to keep Scott informed. The reason was, we had many rooms ready for the over flow. First was the Theatre, then the Banquet rooms. From there the cafe, Auditorium, then the Chapel. The last place was the gym and High School Ministry Room.
which earlier Scott, Brandon, Jeremy, Josh and I set up over 200 chairs in the gym. Then around 7:30 pm Scott and Jeremy set up the rest of the chairs in there. Which in total was around 400 sits. They were ready. But as the night started to slow down in the people coming in. We use the Theatre, Banquet Rooms, Auditorium and the Chapel. Really not sure what the amount of people there were. But look at the next pictures. At 9:45 pm Pastor Fidel finished up his message and let the people leave for about a hour or a little more.

This is the cafe and look at how full is. After the outside thing, which happen at 11 pm. The people were coming back in and now was the time to reflex on the New Year coming. Which our worship team sang their hearts out. Then the count down happen. I am sorry to say, I was breaking down tables with Mitch and just hanging out. It really was so neat to walk away and say, the turf is cleaned up and I can go home now.
So I really hope and pray you all had a wonderful New Years Eve. Now let us see what He has in store for us all.
Please if you get a chance get that old Bible out and read Psalms 32. The whole chapter. This is what each and everyone of us need to do to start  this next year with a clean heart and a soft one too. A friend of mine shared this morning with me. Thank you for your time to read and look at this blog. I really pray to get a better camera this year and take better pictures.
