WOW just watch it. This was attacked to the last video.

Okay now what do you think about this? I just want to make sure you see this too.

Okay could this be true?

I have watched it a couple of times. Not really sure. It does look real. I got this from a e mail today. So I am not sure. Just enjoy and ask this question, am I using every part of my body to do work or PLAY?

That is right, we raised the roof! With all this rain lately how am I to work on this bus?

Well as you see, Kevin and I did some roof raising yesterday. This is the bus I talked about two weeks ago. The coolant exchanger. It took me all day long just to get this unit out. Boy was it fun or NOT. It is out and I hope to take the rest of it apart today and see if I can get the o rings here or not. After figuring out where everything was it really was not that bad of a job. It just was so dirty. I did have to take the exhaust off and a couple of other things t get this thing off. Like I said it took a while. I finished cleaning up at 6pm last night. The real neat thing was really no flying mosquitoes, that I knew of. Today I do have some bits but really not as bad as it could be.

Okay LORD we have had enough RAIN!

By looking around yesterday, we have had rain now for four days. You can see by my pictures, I really have not been doing that much work. Every where you go, flooded. That is why I have put some much into the blog this morning. You know walk and shoot a picture here or there. There sure is plenty of water to take pictures of. Today, my prayer is that I can work on the Ocean Bus. This has been down since last week, maybe even more than that? Mark and I are going to try to pick up the tent and raise it on some 2x4's Just so I can do some work. I worked on the Toyota truck yesterday under the tent.

OH what happen this morning was BAD, MOSQUITOES ARE OUT AND GROWING. This morning I took Tim and Mindy and family to the air port. Boy I open the back door to put the bags in and closed as fast as I could. Driving to the air port we fought the bugs all the way there and even myself coming back home. They are every where. They are flying up to SC for a little while and then Mindy and the boys are going back to their home in Minnesota. So if you think of them for any thing, say a prayer or two, their plans are to go see family and just go to different churches and tell of what is going on here and what they need for the Camp and what ever else. Pray that their time is relaxingly and just peaceful too. I know when I go back to the states, Buy stuff and see people and run here and there and every where, driving. Ask for traveling mercy as they have this time together with the other sons that live there too..

Well we got most of the pipe in the ground, really WET ground NOW

The next step is pouring cement around the boxes themselves. his way they will stay in place when we get ready to pull the wire through the pipes. The rain is still happening. Maybe next week this will happen?

Now look at the tree

Mark and Eric came up with the real tree branches. On Monday and Tuesday, Mark was in back in the woods cutting down branches. It really does look better than the PVC. We just thought it would be easier and just look as good. What I am talking about it, I think a couple of weeks ago, I asked people out there what they thought of the PVC branches? But I never heard back on any thing. So guess they really didn't think they looked good or didn't really care. But as it stands today, I really like it and now build the fort and we can spray paint then it will be ready to use.

This would be the roof on Cabin #3

Not the rain we are getting now, but back a little while ago. Tim noticed some water siting on a table inside of the cabin. So by looking on top, Monday. I washed it then resealed the roof with some tar like stuff. Then the next day we were to put a KOOL Seal Coating on top of the tar. But as it is doing now, Raining. It has been raining now for four days and not to give up until Saturday. By what they tell us here. Tim and I think the Kool Seal will help with the water and even maybe with the heat during the Summer time. You know reflex it better. Now we need to wait on the rain and let it dry and we will see what happens.

Pastor Chet and others stopped by yesterday.

Yes that is our Pastor Chet, he has been letting his hair grow out a little more than normal. Yes I am jealous, why can he grow hair? NOT ME?
It really was nice to see him and some of his friends. Pastor Mike and Jeff and one more, sorry I forgot his name. They flew over to just say hello and have some small talks with us. It really is a blessing to see Pastor Chet and just hear his laugh. They were only here for part of the day. They flew in around 11am. Then flew out out around 5pm.
I really was looking forward in talking with Pastor Mike, but the bus broke down and you know. The time was to short. He told Eric he might come back in a couple weeks and we can sit down and have a nice talk.
I wanted to take their picture but like I said the bus broke down, had to leave right after this time of meeting.

Look we have a trench dug out.?

These are a couple more people that helped out on Monday. Pastor Dan Roth is the one in the first picture on the right. Then the last picture is a young man named Diego. Those two helped repair a broken pipe and dig out some more trench so we could put the new electric pipe in the ground. That is what my son Kevin and his friend R.J. did on the day too. Back filling all of it. I am sad to say I didn't get any pictures of them.

This group of students are from Pastor Dan Roth Youth Group.

If you look very closely you might see a couple of students you have seen before. That right in the second picture that would be Daniel, Dan's youngest, then the next one is Miss Hanna, she is wearing yellow.. Back some years ago. When I first cam here they were missionaries here. They lived here for over 4 years. Then as it works out. God had another road for them to travel and now they live in Florida and have their own church now.
Well this group came to help us out at the ALC for two days. The first one they dug out all the old dirt and rock from the cages. then refilled with sand. The reason is, we are trying to make this petting farm look a little better than is has in a while now. We would love to tare down the old cages and build new ones. But the problem is not the funds, it is the people to do the work. I know we could redo this whole place if we only had some skilled workers. You someone that could use a saw and just take over and make it happen?
Well like I said, they were to work here for two days. But the rain pretty much stopped all I had planned out. But they work over at the Camp. A couple of them did some caulking in the dinning hall. Then the rest pulled everything out of the snack shack. Then cleaned it with bleach and good old soap. I am sad to say I didn't get a chance to take more pictures. The reason was, our Jungle Bus needed some work done on her. A power steering hose blew yesterday. You know drive around trying to find someone to fix it. Well the guy I use most time, didn't have the correct ends. So I went to AID and then Alburys. There they fixed me up and on my way again.

Look what has been starter yesterday?

At first there was a couple of set backs. Yes the battery for the machine decided to melt. So Mr Sincare went out and got another battery and moved forward. They got the line dug for the New Bath House. During there time digging the New Cottages they ran out of diesel and could not get it running right. So for yesterday they got most of the digging done. On Monday they promise to get the rest done. It really is neat to see how strong a little machine like this can dig into the rock.
I was talking with Tim Seeley about this and said Thank you Lord for the wisdom to know when to call in others. Just think if we had to dig this by hand. Boy I would be still in bed and in pain. Now to do these two lines will cost some funds. I think it is around $700.00 this will cost.  But to me it sure is worth it. Thank you Lord for that knowledge and wisdom you give us each day. Plus the funds to do it too.

Last night Kevin, his sister, her children and myself saw a great movie.

It really is neat to watch a clean movie and walk away and say I really enjoyed that. Plus it lets me go back in time and remember the first time I ever saw Star Trek TV show. WOW. It really does remind me when I was 15 years old and the WOW I got back then. Okay now watching the old TV shows now. I look at them and say what did I see that was so great. It is the memories I have back then and I can relax and watch and enjoy.
Just a note there are a couple of tear jerkier. So men make sure you are ready.

Please drop me a line and let me know what you thought of it.

Well a up date on my truck

I know most of you out there are looking at this and saying what is these tings? Well it is called a fly wheel the first picture. The the next two are the pressure plate and clutch. Okay now if you have been watching all that has been going on in my life in this last month or so. This is the problem with my truck. That is right, now I need a new fly wheel and new clutch. Okay what happen a while back my starter has been making some noise. So we thought it needed a new one. I bought one back in Dec of last year. It seemed to be working okay, then it started making all kinds of noises. So I had Dawkins look at it. He tells me the starter it needed. He told me that maybe he can repair it. So he took it all apart and found a little problem with it So he thought he could just fix it him self. Could not find the small part he needed. So I thought let us just go buy a new one. I need a new starter again. So I bought two of them, the first one I just wanted to make sure I got one. You know living on a island you are not sure if you are able or not. So I bought one at Albury's Auto supply. That cost $287.85. Then I remember buying one at Bay Street,  I didn't think I paid that much, if I remember right So I bought one there for $127.85. Boy what a different. Yesterday I took that one back, no problem getting my money back. Thank you Mr Cartwright.
Okay back to the truck. Now by looking at the fly wheel. Need to pull it out and see what is going on. I told him, while that is a part, check the clutch too. It has over 200,000 miles on that alone. So now I need to buy all these neat things. Mr Dawkins did some shopping around here. It will cost about $500. plus just for the parts. Labor will be around $240.00. I am going to look up on line right after I get off of this blog and see what it will cost to have them shipped over here from Fort Lauderdale.
Folks this is not something I was planning on to spent God's money. But He is the One that provides and He is the One that will make this all work out for His GLORY. I still am asking for prayer too.

Calvary Bible had a fun night last night.

That right we had some fun at Calvary last night. It was a benefit for the Living Stones Music Chorus. There was a couple of extra performers too. Like V-Mac did his thing,
Then the drama team did a skit. They were all dressed in black and worn white gloves.Using a black light to show the white gloves off.  They acted out while a song was playing. They did very well with it too. I am sorry but I don't know the name of the song. But it was still good.
Then a guy named Halle" came out and sang three songs too. He has been part of Camp Bahamas for the last couple of years. You might remember seeing him some of my pictures before. The youth did a concert about two months ago.
Then while the Living Stones were singing another song, my son Kevin came out dressed as a old man and walked up on the stage with a cane. Then got up and started dancing like he was 15 years old. I think they were taking a shot at me. You know white beard and walking with a cane. Or they were trying to show how much music can make you do some crazy tings. I really not sure why I even asked Kevin, he said he was asked to play the part and he did.
Then we finished off with the Living Stones singing their hearts out for the Lord. It really was kind of nice and fun too.
At first while V-Mac was singing I really could not understand what he was saying. The band was much louder than the singing.
Overall a worthy $10.00 to go towards the Living Stones mission trip during the Summer.

Like I told you yesterday, I wish I had my camera this week.

Tuesday night here in the Bahamas, we got almost 15" of rain, in some areas. It was the worst I have ever seen while being here in these last 8 years. Just a note, On Tuesday night I was down town around 8pm. The main road, Bay Street, was flooded. You know not just puddles. It was water going into the store fronts door ways. Then driving the side roads. There were cars in the middle of the road, stalled out. You know, get water in the engine stalled out. There was this one guy driving a white van. I saw the name on the side, but I will not say who. He was driving so fast, that he was pushing water with the  front of the bumber. It really was not a good night to be out driving. I got up on Wednesday morning and saw our place was flooded too, you know the land itself. By looking at the pictures above, you can see where the water line was up to. Oh the picture of the red hood, that was taken last night driving to the store to get some tings. So just by looking at that you really can see how bad some areas really got hit. Like I was telling you above, 15" in some areas. I was talking with Tim Seeley yesterday and he checked out a bucket that had water sitting in it. He messaged it and found 8" in that. So that is a lot  of rain for one night. So looking at the the newspaper, just gives you one idea how bad it really was. Oh Pastor Basil stopped by on Wednesday and told us how his house was flooded too. He needed a shop vac to use to soak up the water in his carpet. I told him if there is a padding, he would have to pick the carpet up and replace that too.

Does this look like a tree or WHAT?

On Wednesday, Mark and myself worked on finishing up the Tree for the new puppet stage. I was looking at it yesterday and said WOW I really think it is looking great. Now Mark is going to cut down some branches on some trees around here and see if that would look better than the PVC branches. Which it should but, My questions is how to attach them after the cement is harden. Maybe drill some holes and put in more screws That is some thing Mark will work on today.

Just a note

For the last two days I have not had my camera. That is why I have not put any thing in the blog. On Tuesday I dropped my truck off at Dawkins Auto repair. Since then I have not had the camera. I was only thinking this would take a half of a day to repair. It has turned out to be more than I thought. Mr. Dawkins listen to the problem while trying to start the engine. He told me that they would pull the starter and find out what was wrong. He asked me if could I go get a couple of parts for it? I picked them up and bought a new starter, could not find the busing he was asking for.  First I bought a starter at Albury's auto supply. That cost, with my discount was $287.85. So I charged it. Then thinking back, I bought a starter at Bay Street Garage last Dec for a lot cheaper price. I drove over there and bought the starter for only $127.85. Boy what a different price? I dropped off the starter at Dawkins. Have not heard back since. Hopefully today? Oh I need to take the other starter back today too. I really am hoping they don't charge me for restocking charge?

Mean while Mark and I worked on the new puppet stage. Mark got all the branches done. I would love to show you, but no camera, YET. The next step is finding out how to make the PVC look like branches. Hopefully today we will play with that.
Another project the staff has started is cleaning up the petting area cages. they worked on the monkey cage yesterday. It really is looking a lot better. Hopefully have pictures tomorrow.

It really is funny how much I miss my camera. I guess that is a way of life, taking pictures and just showing off all that has been going on in my life.

What we hope and pray is the problem on the Ocean Bus.

By talking with Mr Dawkins, he thinks by looking at how much oil that is in the radiator. He really thinks it is only the heat exchanger. Now by looking up heat exchanger, this second pictures tells me how to remove it. By going on you tube, I have been seeing something totally different. Looks like the oil cooler assembly. The reason I say all this is. The second picture tells me to take the intake off. The first pictures tells me it is near the oil filter, which is below the engine. Well I will try the last one first and we will see what happens.
Hey Bob or any one out there might have a idea? Please drop me a line or two. My prayer is that it is not the head gaskets. It makes more sense about the oil cooler. That is to cool off the oil and the two come together there, not like touching each other. They pass by each other. This way the oil can be leaking into the water by this means. The only thing that needs replaced is the O rings. I really don't know for sure, but I will try any thing once. Love to hear from my friends out there that might know what is going on.
