Having some fun with my church people.

This is Pastor Craig, Debbie (theft store manger) Troy (Craig right hand man) 

We stopped by this home to see what they would like to give us. 

This is couple are both 99 years old. They have been living here for many years. 

They many things. So I guess we will be coming back this way next week or so. 

Okay we got what ever was set up for this day. Now need to get ready for tomorrow. It is a day of cutting lawns. That is correct, Pastor Craig and crew cut the lawns at Oleander campus (The Crossing Community Church). Then the one on Indrio, campus too. 

These lawn mowers are the ones that his crew uses. 

We are at the Oleander campus. Here a tree. that needs to be trimmed and put on the burn pile. 

I think this was the next day. I got to use the edger on the sidewalks and driveways. 

Overall this is some fun. Working around the church and these guys, as has been fun too. 

Not sure about what you heard about at church this week-end. 

I was listening to Pastor Craig, He was in the Book of ACTS. 8:26 to 40. 

It talks about Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch.

We are all evangelizers. It is really a simple thing to do. 

Just tell YOUR story. you don't need to know every verse in the Bible, to share Christ. 

Just remember YOUR story about how You found Jesus.  

 

This was last Saturday, Jeanne and I were asked to go to another funeral.

Afterwards there was a luncheon. It was at a place called Gator Trace. 

When you walk in and need to go to the bathroom, here is this little guy. I think he is still hungry.  

We are in the clubhouse. Looking down at the golf course, and their swimming pool. What a beautiful site and very neat clean place. 

Here is my baby, she is such a beautiful woman. 

We meet Jeanne's sisters at the funeral. So after lunch the girls had a chance to talk a little and just hang out. 

This is Dannie, (second youngest),  Jeanne (baby of 5) and This is Kathy (second oldest)

I am sorry but I don't know all these people. But they asked for a group picture. 

As we walked out, Kathy was parked next to us. So I had a chance to see this 2021 Chevy Truck. 

It is great looking truck, I am not a Chevy guy. But  FORD GUY. 

Not sure why I opened up the gas tank cover? But you can see there is no more gas cap. I guess ad least, you will no loose your gas cap. 

It is kind a funny. I have been working with the crew from the Crossing Church . I noticed on Tuesday one of the trucks they use, the gas cap is missing. 

Well today is Friday the 22 of Oct. Wow, Oct is more than half over. Time is not slowing down at all. 

Well like I said for the last couple of days, helping out with thrift store, pick ups and drop offs too. I will share pictures in the next couple of days or so. 

But today Jeanne and I will be leaving for a drive. After she gets out of school (work) We have been talking about the leaves turning colors. I know back a few years (16 maybe?) Well I remember packing up my car back then and heading north. I drove north until I got tired. I think I ended up in North Caroline. I took many walks in the Smokey Mountains.  I remember very well how beautiful and refreshing the air and the chill too. 

So my baby and I will be driving and walking and just enjoying the fresh air. Plus maybe get some leaves too.  

 

My baby and I had a chance to spend a nice dinner and some fun with Jake and his family.

This is my one I love, (Jeanne). Jake has been coming here for a few years. 

The drawing card her is on Wednesday evening they have what they call Crab Races. 

Billy the one that over sees these races. I found out that night he has been coming here at Conch's Joes Seafood Restaurant. 12 years. They are located on Indian River Drive. Jenson Beach. 

Billy bring in this table with the board on it. That has lines on it to have a race. Plus he brings his own music and sound system. 

These are Hermit Crabs. Their shells have been painted and there is a number n them too. You can see the squirt bottle on the left hand side. Billy would spray anyone that would not listen to the rules. One rule was, no hands near the yellow ring. No pointing at the crabs. You need to have rules and if you break the rule. You get a squirt. Some of the girls just didn't listen. They got a couple of squirts. 

Even my little girl won on of the races. She got a trophy.

This is Jake (son) he won a trophy too. 

Hey this was some fun. 

At the end of the races, Jake came in second place on the final race (#15) 

As we were getting ready to leave, Jeanne wanted to go look at T shirts, that are on sale here. She bought a real nice one. A fishing shirt. It has a V neck and long sleeves.     

Before we came here this evening, we went to a siting (Haislay Funeral Home) of a young man named Tyler Russakisr.(19 year old)  He was killed in a truck and car accident on Oct 7th.This young man is a good friend of Jeanne's nephew's (Bo's family). 

All I ask is that you keep these families in prayer and your thoughts. 

The funeral was on Thursday Oct .14th. 

Okay this might look like a small job?

This is in our front yard. The sad part is, we have been living here for a year already. These are Jeanne's mom's rose bushes in here.

I got the weeds out and turned the soil over to make sure I got them all.

 

I went down to Home depot and bought a large roll of this mesh. I used this in and back yard and it seams to work pretty good. 

As I finished this up, my little girl came home and was very happy to see it done. 

I just love surprising her and giving gifts she wants. I made a deal with her for her birthday. 

If I weed the front yard gardens. She would take as a birthday gift. 

I am not sure about you, I am not one to weed. 

I can tell you this, as I finishing this up, I felt so good about doing it and making it happen. 

Now I have two more big areas to weed. Plus around the palm trees too. 

Over all I am so blessed to be able to do this work and walk away and say Thank you LORD. 

 

I worked on this about three or four months ago.

Yes it came out nice. It took me about three or four days to make this happen. 

Okay what happen? Oh someone hung on it? Or something like that? 

It is on the floor now. 

These were dry wall anchors. Thye reason I used them was, there are no wood studs in this wall. I did try to find out what in the wall here. I think it is a medal pole. I tried to drill a small hole in the pole  Then screwed in  lag bolt. It just would not hold .

This side of the wall is where I put up a board with a hole in it and put a slide bolt on the gate to keep it in place. 

I filled in the holes and sanded to wall down. Then after about hour or so? I painted it with some paint I bought at Home Depot. They sure can match the color well. 

I did this on this side too. 

Over all I have a call into Julian to ask him what he would like for me to do? The reason I say this is, it was his idea to put up gate. he was just trying to stop the students from coming into the offices area, until the Dean is ready for them. 

Well folks today is Friday and looking forward in just enjoying our time together this week-end. 

 

This is for the Football Booster's Club.

Yes we are now up and running. On this day we are feeding the football boosters. 

I was there for support. Yes I was the runner for the students. What does this mean? 

Our time was coming to the event. The students worked very well together and y baby was right on time with it all. 

Her the students are ready to serve and everything is all set and ready to go out to serve. 

This is when the football team had a chance to share how the team work is going and high lighted a couple of the players too. But at the end the coach was the one to share even more. 

These are our tables to get the food out to everyone. 

Hey everyone did a great job and we are very proud of this team too. 

These are a couple of the players that have been in Chef Gray's class. I know my little girl is very proud and enjoy having these guys in her class. 

Afterwards we all went back into the kitchen and cleaned everything up and ready for another day. I think this evening we all left around 10pm. 

Over all I was very pleased to see and work along side these students and they really did a good job. 

 

I know we are very blessed. Our Lord is so good and His timing is always right. Praise Him and we thank Him each and everyday. 

Lately I have been praying more for protection as Jeanne and I are His servants. 

That prayer is Ephesians 6:10 to 18.

The verses are talking about The Whole Armor Of God. 

As I pray: Lord please give us the helmet of salvation and breast plate of righteous. Belt of truth ,the sandals of the gospel. The double edged sword. 

Please folks keep in prayer and He is listening.
