Where did she go?

Hello all,

Just a note to let you all know, our Internet has been down now for a week and half. I will try to get caugth up on e mails tomorrow.
The picture you see above is where the bobcat was. By His grace and His angles we, Adam and I plus the help of old faithful, John Deere. We got the little machine out and we will be using it this week ahead. There is a group of singles coming tonight to do some more work at the All Saints Camp. So if you think of them, PLEASE pray for safety and good fellowship with the people that live there. Let there be a bonding that is only form our Lord and let the love of Him be seen in each one of them. Thank you for your prayers for us here and I do look forward in seeing His glory being shown threw our work here.

THANK YOU LORD

DEAR GOD:
I want to thank You for what you have already done. I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me; I am thanking you right now.. I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears ; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed;
I am thanking you right now. I am thanking you because I am alive. I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles.
I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better.
I'm thanking you because FATHER, YOU haven't given up on me.
God is just so good, and he's good all the time. Send this message to 8 friends, not to the friend who sent it to you and continue

Hold on!!!!!!!

Hey you can see the back yards NOW

Just look around, how much has been done????

Hey this last week the singles from Calvary kick some but. They really made a dent in all that needs to get done. The picture you see above is behind just one forth of the area that still needs work. But by His grace we can make this all happen. I just want to say thank you very much and I look forward in seeing so much more that needs to happen.
The other picture is, of the little bobcat, it is hanging in the air and this is what I will work on today. Try to get is freed. One of the staff was clearing the land and found out that there was another pit for the dirt water. This is a area that the wash room dumps into. If you remember I wrote on this last week. How I almost fell into one too. But by His grace He didn't let me go any farther. I stopped and back up and said Thank you Lord. Boy it sure put a fear into me. Well I know we need to get the machine out today and I know He will be the one that does it. I tried yesterday, picking up my truck with our small back hoe. It went up real easy. I hope the bobcat is not to much more heavy than that. I hope tomorrow to tell you the happy ending?????

Just want to pass on something.

I have had this # stored in my cell phone for several years and it
sure had come in good use several times.

Subject: Free Directory Assistance
I checked this and it is true. Guess I'll put this number in my cellphone contact list....
Cell phone companies are charging $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 Information calls. Since no one carries a telephone directory in their Vehicle, they get away with it. When you need to use the 411 Information option, simply dial 1(800) FREE 411, or
1(800)373-3411, you will incur no charge. This works on your home telephone as well. If you enter this number into your cell phone you will always have a way now to get a phone number if you need one. This is the kind of information people don't mind
receiving, so pass it on to your family and friends.

James here is one of our biggest helpers.

The guy you see above?

His name is James and he lives there at the Camp. I have known him now for about two years. Every time I saw him, he was laying down on his front porch. But during our time there he was the hardest worker we had. He just kept on cleaning up the branches and logs that the guys were cutting down. Man he really was a big help. Plus there was this really quite woman, not knowing her name. She was a trooper too. She was always sweeping up the leaves and things that fell to the ground. That was even before we got there, she did that. I will take picture of her today or next week.
The real troops are here now. Not sure of the number, but I know there is 15 plus. Billy and his wife Michel are over seeing this group of singles. I think their ages are from 20 to 29. Or something like that. I will take a picture of them too later on. Just by looking around yesterday, I have really seen a big change in the east side of the Camp. I will have pictures later on too.
All I ask is keep them in prayer for safety and working together. I know God is doing this but i do know the one that s this is working too.

These are the guys that started the ball rolling

We have just started a new adventure.

Calvary Chapel and some private people have come to help out at the All Saints Aids Camp. This is going to be a big project and a rewarding one at the end. This place has not had any work done to it for a few years now. The plan is we just start clearing the weeds and trees that have taken over. So yesterday three guys flew in from Ft. Laud. Their names are Jason, Keith and Jeff. They are here to get things ready for the crew that will be in Thursday of this week. We had to set up a burn pile area and that was my main job yesterday. By looking at the picture you can see this is going to be a large area. By God's grace, He has given us a (want a be) Bobcat. It really is a blessing. Running this machine looks like a lot of fun. I can tell you this, it is after you figure out how to do it. You can run four things at once. Not like a back hoe, you drive then pull on levers and things like that. This you can drive with the sticks in your hands and run the bucket with your feet. Left foot runs the lifting of the bucket. The right foot runs the up and down of the bucket. I start out pretty good then I forget what is what. But by His grace I will be able to run it again today. Well I will keep you all inform with up dates.

Look at all these people.

People leaving, reason rain.

Yesterday was our Independence Day

July 9 it all starts, you can see the people are coming in now. It is suppose to start at 8pm. But by looking on you can see, even the important people have not shown up. Around 9pm is when things started up. They had the Children's Orchestra play for us. Then during this the rains came down. It just was a small spray, (Bahamas' word) at first and then the real rain came down. It is so funny to see how people react during rain here. It is like they will melt or something like that. So during this time I walked back to my truck and got my rain jacket. Getting there the rains stopped, it didn't rain any more that night. So while walking back the people started coming back too.
Okay so I didn't walk back to the area where every one was. By that time the place was filling back up. So I just stood on the side lines and still saw everything. Next was a drum band playing. they played for about 30 minutes or so. They really were good too. During that time young s came out and danced and did all kinds of cart wheels and things like that. I am sorry but I was to far away to take any pictures. They were good too. Then all of the arm forces came out and they just come out so the Governor General came inspect them. That was neat to see how straight and orderly they acted. Now was the time for the dogs to come out and do their thing. I leave at this time. Knowing, last year I sat in traffic for almost two hours, plus. So i got home around 11:45pm. I watched the rest on ZNS TV. The flag raising and fire works. Bed time now.
I really wish I could have taken someone with me. But the ones I asked said to many people. (crowds). I still had some fun, I was talking with a woman and her son during the time there. She is a Pastor's wife, Rex Mayors. She was very helpful with my questions on a lot of things that was going on. Like why would the Governor General insect the troops? She told me that he is really even higher in rank than the Prime Minister is. I know they have had their Independence now for 35 years, so why is that? She was not sure. Plus there was a lot more I asked she did know.

You can see something is missing??????

Hey guess what, we had some visitors Monday.

Yes our friends had a chance this last Monday morning around 5am to come and do some shopping in our store room, bathroom. We think they came through the roof, then went down the manhole and really liked the sound system had we just replaced about three months ago. You can see where it use to be at, by the picture above. The sad part is how do we stop them. They come over here like every three or four months to take what they like and not leave any money for their time of shopping here. I know I am trying to be funny but it really is sad WHY????? We have looked at cameras and other things. We have talked about dogs, all that will get us is dogs. Hire a gaurd? That will cost about $300.00 a week.
Please I know our Lord is here and He is letting this happen for one reason or something else. Just not sure WHAT.
Please keep this in prayer and let see what he has planed out.
Please enjoy your day and may he bless your socks off.
Tomorrow we here get a day off, it is Indepenace Day, This is their 35th year and I am looking forward in going to night to the flag raising and fire works. I will show you some pictures this coming week.

If we treated our Bible like we do our cell phones?

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell
phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency
This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about
our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill..
Makes you stop and think 'Where are my priorities?'
And no dropped calls!

This was my problem child.

If you want your car fixed, take to someone that knows how.

This last week has been a real challenge for me. I have a friend here that her clutch stopped working. She took it to the dealer and they wanted $300.00 just for the parts alone. We went on line and found out what they would cost in the states. They would be around $100..00. So I did some shopping around here and found them for $113.00. So we went with them and now I can tell you about what happen next.
Looking at a repair manual that we have here, it really didn't look that hard at all. So I volunteer to fix it. Now I had to stand on my hear to get the part out, under the dash. Got it apart and put it back in. Mean while I put the brake booster back in tight, hoping to hold the clutch master cylinder in place. Now I didn't really look at the new part. It looked good and then I found out the nuts didn't go back on. So I drove around the island trying to find the next size up. 9MM. There is NO ONE on this island that has that size. So I went back and took it out again. Looking at it the nuts went on okay. Okay I realize I didn't have the part all the way in. So the nut just spun. I am doing this by feel. I can't see the nuts. I put the part back in. Got the nut to go on. Hooking up the linkage of the peddle. I had to push the peddle all the way to the floor. Now something else is WRONG. Guess what I have the honor to take it out one more time. FUNNNNNN. Okay I got it back out. The linkage was the wrong length. So I switched the linkage with the old one. It is only piston. No rubber parts on this. So it should work.
WELLA it did. Now I needed to changed out the slave cylinder. The book tells me it is under the engine. So you need to take the bottom plate off to get to it. I got under it and looked and looked, could not see it at all. It is on the front of the engine, get to it and guess WHAT. It is fixed and I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for that.

These are some of my children.

These are all the Sunday School Kids.

I just have a quick thing to share.

In these last couple of weeks I had a chance to help out with six years old at Calvary Bible. Yes during the time called Sunday school I had 4 to 7 little boys in my classroom. It really was some fun but it is work to trying to keep their attention and just to get the Word of God out to them. If any one out there has ever taught little ones, knows it can be a challenge. Hey these kids are just kids and I need to find other ways to keep their attention. I had a chance back a while at Calvary Chapel, Ft. Laud to have 30 or more in first grade. At first I really had trouble. But after a little while it turned out to be a lot of fun. That was then, but now I just not called to teach the little ones. So I am sorry to tell them I will help sometimes but not every week.
It is so funny to know you are called to do, then NOT. Thank you Lord for this wisdom and just knowing.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.
