This is Saturday evening, we are at Atlantis.

This is the chair everyone wants their picture taken at. As they were climbing up and getting ready to get it done. They only used someone else camera. That is why I only have this shot.

Every time I go into the casino I look and just high light to the visitors that folks that live here are not aloud to gamble. I always thought this is a great way to protect the people of the country. I wish we had laws like that here in Florida. There would not be so many that have a problem now. Addicted to it.

This is just one of glass sculpture in here.

As we walked out and went towards the place called Marina Village. The crew wanted to see Junkanoo. This is just a taste of what Junkanoo is like. I know the pictures are very bad. But ad least I am trying to show what they saw.

This is Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Parlor. Here each of us got to get a small cone. It was so good. But at the end, for 12 small cones it cost around $90.00 +.

This is Cole our leader, Elizabeth and my buddy Jeremy. You can see we really enjoyed those cones. It was very refreshing and tasty.

This is Friday afternoon.

You can see part of the board walk laying behind these bushes and trees. During the hurricane the water surged up about 7 feet. So the board walk was pretty floating the way the water went.

The crew that was working on this was Joseph, Jeremy, Linus, Lee and me. We cleaned up a path. Then while talking it over about how to do this. One said maybe take it apart. Then I was thinking just get around ten people and pick it up and move it. Linus had the best idea. Cut it in half and carry that out. Which we did and it worked out great.

The hard part was we needed to get into the water. That all worked out too. Lee, Joseph and I got into the water. Meanwhile the shoes I got from Good Will fell apart. The soles cam off. The coral rock didn't show me any favor. But we got it in and it will work for now. Mark was the one asking to get this out and set up. He has a program the next day. He told us Saturday afternoon how the board walk worked out great, thanking us for it.
As we all had different things to work on It really was a blessing to get this done. Now down the road this will be all put back together again. Not sure when or even how. Maybe wait until January. The wet season is over.

Here there was two burn piles.

There was three or four burn piles happening at once. So as I walked around I took some pictures.

This is a project that Pat asked us to work on Saturday. We had to dug up the old pipe and replace it.
There were a water and electric pipes broken here.
This is Jeremy, he was my partner. we got both lines repaired and they even worked.

This is Elizabeth and Zack. They had the chance to start up this large fire again on Saturday.
As our day was winding down, We got many things done and it was by the glory of Our Lord that it happen.
This night we went to Atlantis and walked around the Dig and just had a wonderful evening. I will share those pictures tomorrow.

Rewinding trip to the Bahamas. Friday evening.

Calvary Fort Lauderdale, sent over 10 folks and Carlos in the middle here came on his own. Jeremy, ( my coworker back at Calvary FTL) Carlos and Jessie (missionary here) .

These guys are Lee, Fabio, Cole and Joseph.

This be Zack

Elisabeth, Laraine, I am so sorry I didn't hang out with them that much. I know my memory is not that good. But I do remember Elisabeth, we needed to go back a couple of times to get things that the group or she forgot at the Camp. It is still good.
Okay now take a look at what everyone was eating? It is called Jerk Chicken. I know for myself it a joy to enjoy my old favor. On Friday nights I would take who ever wanted to go to Bamboo Shack and just enjoy this snack Jerk Chicken. I was told afterwards everyone thought the same. It was wonderful.

Okay folks I am going to try to start out my trip to the Bahamas.

As on Wednesday afternoon or so. Tim and I were driving around and I saw The KFC bucket laying on the ground. I am not sure but this might be the last time you will see this bucket. It use to be their trade mark. This big KFC Bucket out in front of every KFC.

You can see the ocean is still pretty rough out there. Whiling driving along here, the waves were coming over in certain areas along here.
The reason saying stating is, while here I put in a couple of shots of different things and there really was not in order.
Plus some of my time, I didn't have Internet. But God is still glorified.
As I am sitting at the Nassau airport to fly back to my home in Fort Pierce. I just wanted to share some pictures and stories in the next week or so.
Thank you everyone out there for your prayers and just taking the time to look at this blog. I really pray that you enjoy the pictures and stories I share on here. May your afternoon be as blessed as my is.
Remember to say a prayer or two for Adventure Learning Centre, they are trying to get the program back up and ready for the students to come in. Then to hear about His Word and to see all the neat things that ALC has. As I was there yesterday I really see this place up and running by the end of the week. That is like tomorrow already. Time just flies by and I am just enjoying the ride.
The real neat thing is, THERE WAS NO BUILDING DAMAGE AT ALL.
JUST TREES AND SOME SHINGLES THAT CAME OFF THE ROOFS.
GOD'S HAND HAS BEEN ON THIS PLACE AND HE WILL NOT LET IT GO.
As I was there working for the last week or so. I saw many hands doing the tree trimming and replacing shingles on some of the building.

Praise HIM.

At All Saints there a couple of big trees down.

This building here is called the Chapel. For many years the folks here have been using this building for church. But as you see now there is a large rubber tree laying on the one corner of the Chapel.
As Tim and I have looked at this, either one of us have a clue on how to remove it. You know if you cut the branches off, they might go through the roof? So I guess for now it is not going any where. But down the road the Lord will give Tim some wisdom on taking it off with out danging it any more.

This building was built for two (2) reasons. One a dinning hall and it is used for a hurricane shelter.Which during Matthew that was the main building for people to stay in. The bathroom was all hooked up the last time I was here. God always has a plan and I love seeing it all work out.

As you look at the picture you can see many trees down. But by His grace nothing really got damaged. The kitchen has some roof damage.
But like I said He has been protecting this place since it was started and He will keep His hands on here.
Praise Him as your day go by.

This is behind Billy's home.

As the hurricane came through this area. The ocean came almost to the edge of the cement slab. If you look in this picture you can see all the debris in the back ground.

As Tim was trying to see the levels. We found out the ocean came up almost 7 feet high. The house's slab is around 8 1/2 feet above the sea level. By God' grace the the water didn't come up and into their home.
It really is a beautiful thing to see God's protection. I was told during the storm, it was low tide.
Thank you Lord for your protection.

This is driving back from the airport. This is Wednesday morning

As we riding along. I was checking things out. I saw a lot of trees down and like you see here some flooding is still around.

But this is the view I never get tried of. Going north towards West Bay Street.
That water is still pushing up and going over the road. As we were driving you can see the waves coming up and over. There are sea walls, but I just can image how Matthew was flying up and over them. Even in land there is still flooding going on. As we were driving on Thursday afternoon one road going west (Airport Road) was closed down. Remember this is a island, where does the water go? The tides and waves are looking on the high side.

As I got back from the airport, Tim and I set up scaffolding. Then I was Tim's little helper. As he climbed up on the roof. I just stand there and what ever Tim's needs I was trying to help.
The real neat thing was as Thursday afternoon the roof is pretty much done.
We still need what they call capping shingles. Tim and I went shopping and this whole island there is none. Prayerfully on Monday or next week Tim will be able to get the capping shingles. This way the place where Tim and Felicia lives will be roofed done some what correct.
This morning I will be going over to the ALC. There are 11 folks from Calvary Fort Lauderdale, flying in this morning.
I did get a chance to see the ALC yesterday, but didn't really get to do any work. Today is the start of a three (3) days of cleaning and moving stuff around.
I am not sure if I will be able to do any more blogs while at the ALC Camp.
So if you don't see anything for a while I am still doing good and prayerfully before the next week starts I will be able to send some pictures and just a up date on what we have been doing there,
Please keep all of us in prayer and as we work together as a team we will get this place back into order.
Like I said I have bee n there to just see some of the damage.

If you saw the video that I had on my blog a while back. You can see that the staff here as been working very hard to get this place cleaned up and get the children back in here so they can share our faith with them and just have some fun again. It has been a rough couple of weeks and I know how the staff would like to get back to the business of teaching and sharing God's Word.
Oh last Friday morning 5 folks came in from Calvary Fort Lauderdale and they did some great work too.

Well folks I am at the airport and ready to rock

That correct. I am on my way to the Bahamas. I got up this morning at 2:20am. My plan was to get up at 3am. But I am up and ready to go.
I drove down from my home back in Fort Pierce. Leaving the house around 2:45am. 95 was a piece of cake. No traffic at all. It took me about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

As I have ridden the Tri Rail many times. There has been always a problem with many bikes on board. So you can see they really have tried to fit the problem.
\Okay I know I am very early sitting here at the airport. But I should not be late like my last flight. If you remember I missed my flight?
Okay I am going to take a little nap and talk with you prayerfully tomorrow? The reason I say that is not sure about inter net or even electric.
I was told yesterday that there are 10 people coming over on Friday morning to help out too. So we should really get The ALC some what ready for the children to start coming in.
Please keep all of us in prayer and let us see what Our Lord is really doing here.
Praise HIM.

This is called Indian River County Intergenerational Recreation Center,

As I was out riding around. I saw that this building looked open. I have been watching this being built since I moved here. It is right around the corner of the Goodwill, I love going to. So I walked around and checked it out. It really is a beautiful facility.
If you just look at this gym. Wow. I didn't get a better shot of this, but there are bleachers, too. So it really well laid out and ready to rock.

Like I said, this is right down the road form Goodwill. So as I love to ride. My seat is pretty much shot. So about a month ago, I bought a seat cover at K Mart. Thinking this will help out. But as I climb up on the seat. The cover keeps sliding around and it never stayed put. So think I need to ride over to Walmart and get a new. Now as I riding thinking maybe Goodwill might have one? I sure did and there was three to choice from. I got the one that looked the best plus it matches my bike too.

Now I am styling. Looking GOOD. Plus it stays put.

Not sure if I will have time tomorrow to share that I am flying back to the Bahamas. That correct, tomorrow morning I will be driving out of here by 3am. To make sure I make to to the Tri Rail on time. Remember my last trip. I missed the flight because I was looking at the wrong day on the train schedule. So prayerfully I will get to Deerfield Beach by 5 am and climb on the Tri Rail at 5:24am.
Should be giving me plenty of time to make it to the airport. Flight it at 9:09am
Please if you think of me, say a couple of prayers. This is trip is all about Him and what He wants.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.

This restaurant in on Rt. 60 heading from 95 to downtown Vero Beach. Autumn's Crab .  Walked in and sat down. Really kind of quiet for b...
