As I open my mail this morning I see and my heart breaks. The property is damage and they are pretty much shut down until they clean up and fix the fences and pretty many things. There is a video you can see. I am trying everything to get it on this blog. But I guess it is to long? Not really sure what is happening.
I got the e mail to copy, but not sure about the video? Please folks if you can help in any way. Prayer is the first thing we need to do. Is thank The Lord for everyone safety and PROVIDE FOR THEM THE NEXT STEPS.

You Can Help Get Ministry Going Again at ALC&C!
Disaster has struck the Bahamas, but even as we see the damage, we see the graciousness of God. It could have been a lot worse. In fact, warnings and forecasts predicted higher rain totals and higher storm surges impacting the southern coast at the time of high tide, both of which would have been devastating for ALC&C and the residents of New Providence. Providentially, rain totals were not as high as expected and the storm surge happened at low tide.
Despite the good news, ALC&C has suffered dramatic damage to both the Centre and the Camp. The damage is not only impactful in terms of cost of materials and labor, it is also impactful in that until we get the repairs done, we are going to be unable to continue the ministry work we do here in the Bahamas. Not to mention the loss of "income" as we are not going to be able to bring in mission teams to the Camp or children to the Centre until clean-up and repairs are made.
Many have been in contact with us already and have asked us what they can do. Here are a few suggestions.
DONATE: Donate to ALC&C's Hurricane Matthew Relief Fund

PRAY: Please keep us in your prayers. Prayer is needed more than anything else. We need God all the time, but in times like these, we seem to need Him more. Please pray for wisdom and discernment during this assessment phase and then the eventual clean-up phase.
COME SERVE: Consider coming to help with clean-up and repair. There is a large need for laborers.
Cleaning (lots!)
Clear brush
Run chain saw
Clean-up garbage
Roofers
Construction help (siding/soffit/fascia work, build kitchen cabinets, mason/cement work, fence repair)
As we conclude, we would like to ask you to please be in prayer not only for the resources and strength to rebuild and repair our ministry but also for those who are suffering human losses at this time. Our fellow Caribbeans in Haiti have had many fatalities. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all at this time.
Thank you in advance for prayerfully considering how you can help us get ministry going again here at Adventure Learning Centre and Camp!
