Just want to give you a update on all that has been going on here

It is June 25th 2012 already. How can this be? It seems like yesterday I was sending Kevin to his first day of school (11 grade)at C.V. Bethel High School. The school year has ended on a high note. Kevin got a report card back, just before Christmas and he didn't do to well. There is a couple of reasons, new school new area and so on. So since then we have been working together to get his grades up. I made a deal with him a couple of months ago. IF he gets his grades up to a 2.2 he will be able to go to Camp Bahamas. So Friday I got his report card and he did very well. He got a 2.56. Which to me I am very proud of him. Even he got a A in his Art class. If you have been around him at any time, he loves showing his art work off. It is a good ting. He doesn't push it. If you want to see he loves to show it off. He got 4 B's too. So over all he did well and I am very proud to call him my son, even if he did poor. He still my son, and proud of him. So yesterday we sent him off from here to a island called Eleuthera. The Camp is called Camp of the Bahamas. The family that started this a while back, Richard Albury. This is a Christian camp. What Kevin will be a over seer. That means a leader of some kind. All I know is after we got is report card on Friday, we have been trying to work out all details and making sure he is set to go. Well we went to church yesterday and after that got to the airport, some friends came along too. The pictures below show them, that is Terry and Lucy. They are here to help us with our Summer camp at the ALC. I talked to him last night and he made it there safety and I hope to talk with him today some time. I miss him already. But I know he is in a safe area and Richard knows how to work kids and be there too for them. PLUS we all know God is there too. So if you think of him Please say a prayer or two. Did I tell you how proud I am??????

Just want to make sure every one knows that Kevin did well on his report card and he was sent off ysterday to Camp Bahamas. Please say a prayer or two for his time there.

This is the picture for the story below. ENJOY LAUGHING

Remember this is only joking around. Enjoy

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am." The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude. She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican. "I am," replied the man. "How did you know?" "Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me." The man smiled and responded, "You must be an Obama-Democrat." "I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?" "Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are -- or where you are going. You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it's my fault." What is a INFIDEL?

This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prison ministry. The man who walks with God always gets to his destination. If you have a pulse you have a purpose. The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States, especially in the minority races!! Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who each explained their beliefs. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic had to say. The Muslim gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?' There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!' I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?' The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.' He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.' I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine The Pope commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!' The Muslim was speechless! I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question: Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?' You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs. In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President! I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference... Please, for Christ's sake, send it on!

Thanks Uncle Wilard for the memories

Story is below

If you are under 40 years old, you might not under stand this next story.

This one is for all us who actually watched a black and white TV. This was the life!! Hope it brings a smile or two to your week. BLACK AND WHITE TV "Good night and God bless." Go all the way to the bottom past the pictures..... I think you'll enjoy it. Whoever wrote this must have been my next door neighbor because it totally described my childhood to a 'T.' Hope you enjoy it. Black and White Black and White (Under age 40? You won't understand.) You could hardly see for all the snow, Spread the rabbit ears as far as they go. Pull a chair up to the TV set, 'Good Night, David. Good Night, Chet.' My Mom used to cut chicken, chop eggs and spread mayo on the same cutting board with the same knife and no bleach, but we didn't seem to get food poisoning. My Mom used to defrost hamburger on the counter and I used to eat it raw sometimes, too. Our school sandwiches were wrapped in wax paper in a brown paper bag, not in ice pack coolers, but I can't remember getting e.coli. Almost all of us would have rather gone swimming in the lake instead of a pristine pool (talk about boring), no beach closures then. The term cell phone would have conjured up a phone in a jail cell, and a pager was the school PA system. We all took gym, not PE...and risked permanent injury with a pair of high top Ked's (only worn in gym) instead of having cross-training athletic shoes with air cushion soles and built in light reflectors. I can't recall any injuries but they must have happened because they tell us how much safer we are now. Flunking gym was not an option.... even for stupid kids! I guess PE must be much harder than gym. Speaking of school, we all said prayers and sang the national anthem, and staying in detention after school caught all sorts of negative attention. We must have had horribly damaged psyches. What an archaic health system we had then.. Remember school nurses? Ours wore a hat and everything. I thought that I was supposed to accomplish something before I was allowed to be proud of myself. I just can't recall how bored we were without computers, Play Station, Nintendo, X-box or 270 digital TV cable stations. Oh yeah... and where was the Benadryl and sterilization kit when I got that bee sting? I could have been killed! We played 'king of the hill' on piles of gravel left on vacant construction sites, and when we got hurt, Mom pulled out the 48-cent bottle of mercurochrome (kids liked it better because it didn't sting like iodine did) and then we got our butt spanked. Now it's a trip to the emergency room, followed by a 10-day dose of a $49 bottle of antibiotics, and then Mom calls the attorney to sue the contractor for leaving a horribly vicious pile of gravel where it was such a threat. We didn't act up at the neighbor's house either; because if we did we got our butt spanked there and then we got our butt spanked again when we got home. I recall Donny Reynolds from next door coming over and doing his tricks on the front stoop, just before he fell off. Little did his Mom know that she could have owned our house. Instead, she picked him up and swatted him for being such a goof. It was a neighborhood run amuck. To top it off, not a single person I knew had ever been told that they were from a dysfunctional family. How could we possibly have known that we needed to get into group therapy and anger management classes? We were obviously so duped by so many societal ills, that we didn't even notice that the entire country wasn't taking Prozac! How did we ever survive? LOVE TO ALL OF US WHO SHARED THIS ERA; AND TO ALL WHO DIDN'T, SORRY FOR WHAT YOU MISSED. I WOULDN'T TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING! Pass this to someone and remember that life's most simple pleasures are very often the best.

How did you spend your Father's Day? My son Kevin made us a great meal and enjoyed some company

THE ONLY FLAG THAT DOES NOT FLY

Between the fields where the flag is planted, there are 9+ miles of flower fields that go all the way to the ocean. The flowers are grown by seed companies. It's a beautiful place, close to Vandenberg AFB. Check out the dimensions of the flag. The Floral Flag is 740 feet long and 390 feet wide and maintains the proper Flag dimensions as described in Executive Order #10834. This Flag is 6.65 acres and is the first Floral Flag to be planted with 5 pointed Stars, comprised of White Larkspur. Each Star is 24 feet in diameter; each Stripe is 30 feet wide. This Flag is estimated to contain more than 400,000 Larkspur plants, with 4-5 flower stems each, for a total of more than 2 million flowers. This is for our soldiers . . . please don't break it. When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our servicemen. There is nothing attached. Just send this to all the people in your address book . Do not stop the wheel, please.

MEN WITH HONOR begins at home

Last night was a good time to listen to the men that were part of the movie call COURAGEOUS. These men had a chance to share the basics of why they made this movie. It really is pretty simple, if you think about it. The man of the house hold is the one that has to take charge and bring up his, sons and daughters with God's WORD. This way when the children are on their own they will understand why and what reason our lives on this earth are for. Bring Glory to HIS name. If you think about back when God CREATED US. What did He have in plan for us? I believe His plan was to be like the family He has with Son Jesus Christ. It has to be a loving relationship and respect for each other. When you have two in charge, mother and father. Or go one more step, two dads or moms. There is no real leadership skills. Like if you read, Jesus speaking: Mattthew 6:24: No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other,or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. I know now you are asking your self, what do I mean by this? Will it is pretty simple if you think about it this way. There can only be one in charge if there are two, who do you listen to? It all comes back to FATHERS HAS TO TAKE BACK THE RESPONSIBLY THAT GOD HAS GIVEN HIM. So this movie came out in Sept of last year and I know for a fact that many men now are trying to raise their children with this in mind. God first, wife next and then children. If you have this in the correct order, He will honor you and show you through His Word how to do it right. Just look around you these days and see how our children are doing? NOT to good. The reason is, their dads are not first seeking His will and His way. So if you have not seen this movie COURAGEOUS. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME AND GO GET IT AND WATCH IT WITH YOU FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I believe if we all as DADS would just do part of what they ask, I really think we can have His favor and bring our children up to bring GLORY to HIS Name, Jesus Christ. Lord of my life. My prayer is IS HE YOUR LORD OF YOUR LIFE?

Last night men from our church and others got together to watch a Sem Cast of the people that were part of the movie COURAGEOUS
