On Wednesday Dec 28th, we went back to my surgeon, Doctor Jones.

This road I have been on has it's ups and downs. If you have followed my blog at any time this last year. Had my knee replacement May 5th 2022. With another surgeon. After that surgery, doctor had to reopen my incision back up on May19th. The reason was my incision was leaking more than usual.
From that it was up hill battle.
So for over 6 months I have had troubles with my left knee. It felt like my old doctor gave up on what we should do next. There is a lot more to the story. just want to bring you up to today.
We heard about Doctor Jones. We went and meet with him on Sept 14th 2022.
On Oct. 3rd  went back into surgery to take the replacement out and put a block in to keep my leg straight and was on IVs for six weeks.(at home)  Then after two more weeks saw Doctor Jones Dec 7th and set up my four surgery for Dec 13th. Went in and he put my NEW KNEE REPLACEMENT in my fourth operations.
This is the new knee that has the post going into my bones, plus you can see the staples too.

The ring you see is staples, the gray shaded is my knee cap.
I am so over joy that prayerfully this is it. Everything should be okay now.

Except for now Alex has to take out the staples. Not to much fun. Hey just a heads up, I turn into a big baby when anyone touches my left knee.

This is Alex, he really doesn't try to hurt me. I hold on to a pillow and put it over my eyes and mouth.
He has around 45 staples to pull out.

He did his best. It still did hurt. But the great news is from this point all should be no more problems, as I am limited to light knee work outs. Not to push to hard and rip the incision open. Plus there is some swelling around my incision, don't want to push to hard on that area. It is very painful when you touch it. But it will go away.
Folks it has been a rough road, but my Lord has been with us thought all of this and more.
I trust my Lord to the fullness, and look forward in getting back on the bike and riding and even playing some tennis.
Praise Him and thank Him for all we have and how He  has been right along side of everything.
Tomorrow is a Brand NEW YEAR 2023. It is kinda of crazy to believe how fast time keeps going.
Please if you have not given yourself to Jesus Christ. PLEASE DO IT TODAY.
He is only a pray away.
I pray that everyone this year seek His face and really do call on His Name.
HAPPY NEW YEAR. 2023

This is Friday Dec. 23rd. But really today is Thursday Dec. 29th 2022

Oh this is the Treasure Coast Mall in Jensen Beach. Florida. Well this has been a wonderful place to buy Christmas tings, like gifts and wrapping paper and all kinds of neat tings for Christmas. We knew last year they did had a close out sale the week before Christmas. Maybe this year they were not here, or they sold out sooner? During Halloween this store turns into a costumes plus place.

Jeanne wanted to stop by and see if there are some things here at the mall that we can get for gifts? But for the children this is their main reason for coming, to see Santa Claus. There was a nice line of kids there.

I would say it being Friday, this place was not rocking like I would think so. But it still neat to walk around and see people shopping. Hey not sure if you know this about me? I was in RETAIL bushiness FOR 20 YEARS +. So I really do enjoy looking at displays and other things people do to grab people attention. So walking and just enjoying the view.

This is one of Jeanne's Favorite stores. It is part of Victoria Secret Stores.
Afterwards we started heading home. Thinking how hungry we were getting?

Jeanne needed to stop at her favorite Korean Food Stores. Right next to it is Dick's Barbecue Pit.This is still Jensen Beach area.  Jeanne and I have never checked this place out. Always smells good being around, the restaurant.
Well while Jeanne is shopping next store, I will check this place out and see what they have to offer.
After Jeanne was done shopping at her store. She came in and asked what do I think? Well I guess we should give them a try? We both enjoy a good sandwich and BBQ. She got the Brisket Sandwich and I got the Kielbasa with Jalapenos.
Hey both sandwiches were GREAT. Jeanne gave me a bite and I too for her.

Really I nice place and very friendly service and great food TOO.

These guys are our neighbors, James on the left and Sean on the right. Plus Whisky (brown and white Pit Bull) Soda (tan and white Pit Bull)

It is so nice to have neighbors that are willing to help us out, when we need it. Like since I have been having so much trouble with this knee on mine, they have told us over and over again,  need any help?
We have had them pick up our hurricane shutters during our first storm.
Plus they have a couple of pigs as food for them, we give them our garbage and what ever we throw away. Plus we save bones and things that their dogs loves to eat.
We gave them each a blanket (Sam's Club) for Christmas. The reason Christmas Eve the temps were to drop, which they did, 30's
I am trying to get caught up again on my blog.
Hey if you have any questions on anything you see here on my blog, I would love to answer them.

Busy couple of days. It is Christmas Time again. Crazy how fast these day come and go???

Saturday morning Jeanne and I went over to the school to make brownies an cookies. These are for the church out reach Christmas Eve.

Chocolate chip cookies. Always a must everytime we make cookies. Everyone loves them.

These are White Chocolate With Macadamia Nuts. These we gave away when we got back home for our neighbors and family.
We got at the Fort Pierce Marina around 3pm. Service was not until 4pm. People started showing up and even bring cookies and other items. Which is all  worked out great.

I wish the picture came out better, this is our Pastor Craig. Jeanne and I have known him for over 20 years. I started coming to his church right after I moved up this way. That is where I saw Jeanne first of all. I would come up to her and asked if sh would like to get a cup of coffee? For over a year and a half. She would say maybe next time. But I kept asking and she gave in and that is where I meet this time. Pastor Craig and Jeanne and I have been part of a Christian week-ends called V.D.C. Mine weekend was April 1997.

Well it was a cold out here today and we knew the temps were going down father this night. So after the service we hung out for a little while and then, helped break down the food and tables.
Driving home we saw a bunch of Peacocks hanging out downtown on Orange Ave.

Yes there is one place that they love to hang out at. It is a park there and I a not sure, but it looks like someone feeds them there too. But they are wild. No one's pet that I know of ?

After getting back to home, Jeanne set up 4 or maybe 5 plates for gifts. She made them all the same. So everyone got to sample her great baking skills.
Well this is only Christmas Eve. Tomorrow we will be smoking some Prime Rib and corn on our grill in back of the house.
My prayer for everyone out here, that they all had a chance to spend sometime with loved ones and family too. Known not all family is about love. But prayerfully they see your love and they might realize that you do love them.

Folks the temps here are dropping. That right, a cold Christmas Day. Not in our hearts, but outside.

This was our temp this morning at 6 am. This is is Fort Pierce, crazy.

Maybe later on today we can build our own Mr. Snowman?
Jeanne left early this morning to get to the school to make more cookies. Last night we both made chocolate chip cookies and brownies.  I was a very bad boy last night at school, I was walking around and not listening to my loving wife. She kept telling me to sit in my wheel chair and work from there. But I kept trying to put away the clean dishes and pot and pans. She got so up set, told me to sit down and we are going back home. She told me that tomorrow (Saturday) she will be going in to finish the cookies and make sure everything is ready for tonight. These cookies and things are for our church's, Christmas Eve Service. The Crossing Community Church. It will be next to Crabby's downtown Fort Pierce, Florida.. At 4pm.
I promised her I will stay home and keep my knee up higher than my heart.
Which I am finished writing this Blog I will be a good boy.
Hey I still believe Santa Cause for second chances.

Found a couple more pictures or posters on Facebook.

Last night we were watching Rescued By Ruby . I was thinking about how the dog in the movie was trying to be good, but he had is own mind. Thinking the same here.

Hey looking at this, I believe this is very true. When we were younger, we tried to fit in with others. But now we all have our own families and friends. Why try to impress anyone. I have lived my life and why do I need to be politically correct?
Hey I only have so much time left on this earth, that it not say, you  still need to respect each other and no one has the right to say this correct or that is.
We all have our Bibles and my prayer is that I try to live my life by what God' Word IS.
LOVE OUR LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND OTHERS, EVEN YOURSELF.

Found some posters or piictures that were on Facebook.

I think around the 1st of Dec. I started wishing everyone, I saw a Merry Christmas. Most of the time, they response with Merry Christmas, back at me. But I have run into Happy Holidays too. We need to say Christmas, the season is Jesus, is the reason for Christmas.

I thought that this was cute, but sad too. When Jeanne and I go out for dinner or anything. I look around and see how families are talking or using their computers/phones. It is kinda sad. We all get wrapped up in listening for our phone to go off, that ding or beep. Thinking wow I got a message. I need to look at it right now, I am so important, have to look and answer Right Now.
Please folks talk with your family, put down the phones and have a conversion with them. You never know that might be the last time God gives you FAMILY to love or just say something nice to them? Our time on this earth is passing very fast and w need to share our love and be able to tell others,
 I LOVE YOU.

I just thought this was kinda neat to look at, I took someone a long time to make this happen.

My wish for this season is  this.
To Be Better Than I Use To Be.

I saw this on Facebook and just thought back in my time, being under our Christmas tree, my train I loved it. It was a Lionel Train, not sure which size it was.
When I got married to my first wife. I built a H.O. train village. Took a piece of 4' X 8' plywood and stapled fake grass on to it. Then went out an bought the train and buildings and other things to make is a village.  After the season was over, put it under the bed, to store it.
Since then I think maybe I will build another one? Maybe NOT.
Folks we can look back at our old lives an say wow, I wish this? But we all need to look ahead and say what can I do to make someone's else life better.
Please Lord let this sink into my heart and be able to be used by You.

This was our Saturday, KOREAN CHRISTMAS.

Well we both got up around 5:30am. We needed to get the chimney up in flames. After the chimney was going strong. We already had the grill set up with our chain fire. What does this mean? You line the charcoal and stack the charcoal on top of each piece. Then we put some pieces of apple wood on top. Then started the chain and let it go on it own.
We smoked  these ribs for about 4 hours. Then we cooked the other ribs that Jeanne put all the fixing on to make Korean ribs.
Smelling great too.

I am sorry I didn't take a picture before I started eating. It sure was great.

I think this is called Bulgogi (Beef) and Korean Spicy Ribs.

ManDu, Korean Dumplings. There is meat inside of these. I think Michael told Jeanne that Jake and her made up over 300 of these. They are the families favorite. I think there was a limit of five (5) at first.

Korean ribs.

These were my birthday cake (cupcakes) Yes on this day I turned 71 years young.

This is al Michael and Jason's home.

Here we are exchanging Christmas gifts. Shaughnessy and Dannie Jeanne's sister. Not sure what the name of this Christmas exchange is called. You can steal someone's gift after they got it.

This is the gift that I got. Red wine is for Jeanne and the gift cards are for both of us.

This is Michael's front yard. Her and Jason bought this property about a year ago or so? But they live right on the inter coastal. Indian River Road. Very nice to wake up and see the water right out front of your home.

I really didn't get a group shot of the family, but some here and there. It was very enjoyable.
I think this is my forth (4) Korean Christmas. Just a tie to hang out and get some what caught up on the family and friends.
I think we were the last to leave. But I believe everyone had a nice time.
It really is great to se family come together and just enjoy each other.
I just wrote about my family reunions. and how they really were part of growing up.
Thank you Lord for all you give Jeanne and I each day, love and joy that only can come from you alone.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.

This restaurant in on Rt. 60 heading from 95 to downtown Vero Beach. Autumn's Crab .  Walked in and sat down. Really kind of quiet for b...
