If you enjoy laughing and watch some good basket ball, by OLD GUY.

Please explain to me how this is?

I am following this person on Blue Hill Road. If you look closely you can see they just had their Ford Explore was  inspected in March of this year. Now why doesn't their brake lights work? That is part of inspection.

I spent some more money for the ALC

Folks we have been having some trouble with the gate for a while now. It will not close the correct way. The leaf on the left closes to fast. Which causes the other one to close on top. I have slowed the speed down, but some times it still closes incorrectly.
Okay I have been shopping on line to find some that doesn't cost a arm and leg. If you go back in my blog while working on the new gate. The cost for the same set up,we have now, would be around $5899.00.
I saw this at a store here, CBS. they are having a 20% off everything, except net items. Well this was not a net item. Oh do you understand what is net? I think it is something the owners of the stores made up. I was told the price they pay for is at cost. So net is the cost they spent on to bring it in. So every store I shop at does the same. Net items no discount at all.
Okay back to this gate opener. The price before the sale was $1249.99. With 20% off it cost us $999.91.
I found these in the states before duty or shipping for about the same price. $1000.00 So I really pray I did good on buying these. Not sure when we will hook them up. But we have them now.

Okay someone back when I was a kid, the ads said, it would pour in the rain.

Well yesterday morning I needed to fill my salt shaker. So I got the box out and tried to pour it out. NO it as big lumps in it. Why is that? I know there is moister in the air, But. See the little girl on the front of the box. She has a umbrella in her hand to show us, IT POUR IN THE RAIN.
I know I need a life?

Okay, you are a peacock, that is a DUCK!

It seams like later on during the afternoon, every one was looking for a date for the night? That right, this poor peacock was looking in the wrong pen.I think he said to himself, WOW she is different? But the real funny ting was he was still trying a while down the road.
I am so blessed to call this place my home. I get to see these animals run around and just so neat to have our own zoo. While Tim and I worked on the rabbit cages, one white rabbit kept rubbing up to my leg. Not sure why, but I guess he or she liked my hair on my legs.
Folks at the ALC camp last night we had a lock in here. About 30 students stayed up all night long in the dinning hall. As I sit here, I hear these kids walking back and forth looking for something, not sure. But they were saying, are you Jesus? They will be leaving after breakfast. They are from a church here called NPCC. I have written about them before. It so neat to be part of our youth here,in the Bahamas, the camp. I heard them last night at 2am calling out, you better be still awake? That was not for me, I don't think?

Really was a easy day, no rushing here or there.

Our day started out slow at first.

By looking up you can see that we have a problem on the top. The rope came off the pulley and there is really no way to get it back on except, someone has to climb up and put it back on. Okay first thing Tim and I did was but a piece of 2X6 on the top run. Then cut it out so it would wrap around the flag pole. After that found  a small piece of rubber and attached that inside of the cut area. This way the pole might not slip as easy. NOW WHO is going UP? There were no one saying Please can I go up and break my neck? Mark said he would do it. So Sean,Tim R,Tim S,Bob,Eric and myself held the latter still.I didn't take any pictures of him up there, I didn't want to look up. Mark got all the way up and said, I need a screw driver. So he came back down. Eric got him a couple of screw drivers and he went back up. Really at any time did I feel like something was wrong. He put the rope back on and we will see what happens next.

Okay now Tim and I needed to take the van back to the church that Tim Lamb borrowed from. I needed some more paint too. So while out, got the van back and bought the paint at Paint Place. Mr Harrison was not there. Not sure where he went? That is okay, I will see him on Sunday God willing. As the time was moving by, we had lunch at Wendy's at the mall. Then got back and worked on the rabbit cages. They both need new tops on them. It worked out that is pretty much all that happen.
Mean while Mindy asked the staff to take lots of pictures of the student that came in for the day. She needs them for the Face Book page.

So I took some and while watching the kids, I was thinking wow that is a neat job to spend the day with them and just have some fun. I know there is a lot more that just that. But it sure looks they are having a good time doing it.

Why did I have a rough DAY?

Remember those dumb brake shoes I bought. Well the new ones will not help us at all. So I thought why not put them back on. Okay now folks it has been three weeks or so since I took them off. Now how does this work again? I am thinking it is like any other brake shoe. Up and down I tried everything I could think of to get them back on. But after hitting me head a couple of times on the dumb muffler. Then I looked at the parts pictures and say why is this look side ways? OH now I get it. That is why I an having so much trouble, DUMMY. They go side ways, not up and down. Okay I got them on now and tried to set the hand brake. NOW IT BREAKS. Why not before I took it all apart and ordered NEW SHOES, Now can not get my money back? Okay was that a rough day or WHAT?

I am so blessed to say I live here, South Beach,New Providence, Bahamas.

Just driving back from Calvary Bible last night. that was after our rehearsal on the Easter Play. I was on my way to see my friends form PEACE CHURCH. Going out to dinner again. You can see below what we had and ate. Okay all the times I drive by the Prime Ministers' office I don't think I ever took a picture of it. That funny, people go to Washington DC to take many pictures of our President's home, White House. Okay now I did that I guess I have it all?
The reason I stay I live here is, folks I have rough days and say what can I do to make my day better, GO FOR A DRIVE. Every time I do, I just look around and say WOW. This is my home on earth for now. Thank you Jesus. I have been very blessed to call this place my home and just need to enjoy this place more. Where ever you are in your lives, enjoy what you have and don't say if only I had this or that. Enjoy what you do have. Than THANK HIM FOR THAT. It might not be much, but our lives are very short on this earth and He has given us that time, so please don't take it for granite
Remember what is coming? Easter is around the corner. Praise Him EACH DAY..

Thats right I ate out AGAIN last night.

This is the same group I was telling you about yesterday. PEACE CHURCH, I made a BIG mistake on their name. (SORRY) I called it Perry Church. That is one of the pastor that work there. I knew the name but had a brain freeze. I am sorry for calling the church PERRY. IT is PEACE CHURCH. It is funny I would have never caught that at all, if my friend Tim Ryan didn't see it in my blog, thank you Tim.
Okay now last night was there time to just get some of our staff together to say thank you to us. But the real thank you should go to them, they are the ones that come here each year and do work projects at the All Saint Camp. But the real neat thing is the time we get to spend together around the ALC Camp while they stay here. I really enjoy when they come over to use the inter net near my place. It is a great place to be. You just start talking and after while it is like they have never left.
Now remember the couple I talked about yesterday? Ron and Francis. They are still praying and seeking wisdom on what to do next. After I talked with them I talk to Tim Lamb, he was telling me that they are looking for short time away. Like they would fly in for 6 weeks and fly back home for some medical needs. Then fly right back and stay another short time. I guess that would not be that big of a deal. That way they will know down the road what it is like here and then make their minds up and do what God wants with them. Maybe full time living here? I just know they have great heart to serve and it would be neat if they could do that here, they would be a blessing for sure. Please say a prayer or two for this time of their lives.
The PEACE CHURCH will be flying out this morning at 8:05 am. I just heard the bus get back here at the Camp. THANK YOU AGAIN TIM AND CREW. You guys rock.

This is the group from Perry Church

There are people everywhere. Just trying to get a couple of pictures of our staff and then afterwards Tim Lamb group wanted some pictures too
Then you can see the last one. That right this is Pastor Lyell and his wife Judy and then you see Faye and Dr. Bob. I dropped them off at the airport yesterday morning around 10:30am. It sure going to be quite around here now. The reason I say that is, Dr. Bob and I will not be able to fix this place any more. I guess I will have to figure tings out on my own now. It really was a blessing to have him and his wife to be here and I will miss them greatly.
They went back to the cold land up north, Canada. I don't understand why anyone would want to go back up there? I do know why they want to, grand kids and family are all up that way. My prayer is that they will be back sooner than later. Bye you guys.

A week or ago, I ordered some brake shoes.

These are for the Jungle bus. Now our emergency brake had stooped working. I have adjusted it many times. Now it is no longer works at all. Okay we need new shoes. I went down to the dealer here, Bahamas Mack. They said they would have to order them. So I said go ahead and order TWO SETS. The reason this way we always have a set ready when needed. I got the call yesterday and the young lady told me my shoes are in. I went down and open one of the boxes. See ONE SHOE. Then look and see how thin the shoe was. I was thinking the shoe would be like a brake shoe on a truck or even a car. 3/4 thick. Not this one. I got back to ALC. Got the old shoes out. Looked and see my shoe has as much pad as the one I just bought. Oh one more thing. I asked for two sets. Thinking for the price of $184.00 for JUST ONE SHOE? Are you crazy? Okay I called the manger there and told me my problem. He said NO RETURNS ON ORDER PARTS. PLEASE HELP ME.He then told me that it was the cable that was worn out. So now I have two shoes I don't need and have to buy a new cable NOW.
Hopefully the next time I get to the states I can go to the dealership I deal with and ask them for something.

We went out and had some good food.

I am not going to try to tell you every one name, but the couple on the right in the first picture. This is Ron and Francis. Ron has been coming down here for the last couple of times. As it is now, they are praying about becoming missionaries. Now, like I said praying about it. We had a little time last night to just talk about how it is here. My main ting was to just let them know what the cost will be. Not in money, but being away from family and there is NO Walmart here. I really think they would be a good fit here. But like I said before, this has to be about what HE wants. They have a great heart to serve and like I said it would be neat for them to serve here.
After wards everyone went to the Dig, I left and went home. Folks I really did want to stay and enjoy more time with them, but I need to get my lines down on this play. It is only 17 days until it happen, Palm Sunday.

Well our day didn't start out with sunshine.

Okay our man Dr. Bob is finishing up on the welding this day. So the rain really didn't hurt us at all. Like I have been telling you all, today Dr. Bob and his wife Faye will be flying back home, Canada. I was walking around  yesterday and just looking at all the jobs he worked on. I have been very blessed to have him here too, not just because he can weld. But just to have some one to talk with and bonce ideas off of. You know, you are looking at some thing that is broke and you say okay now I can do this or that. It is so nice to hear from some one else at the same time. Dr. Bob has been here to just do that. Just use one things that happen this week. I was using the smaller hand grinder to cut off some rust on a step for the John Deere, the seventh picture. I was trying so hard to get it cut. But it seemed like the grinder was not strong enough. So Dr. Bob said go get the large one. I am saying in the back of my mind NO. I will get it with this. Mean while it stopped running, over heated. I got the large one out,it weights a ton, and it did great. I was finished in a couple of minutes. SO I guess he knew what he was talking about?
You can see that the John Deere bucket is all welded up now.
As the day was winding down, I drove to Calvary Bible and saw this beautiful sunset. Man I am so blessed. Thank you Jesus Christ for all that has been happening here. I will miss those two very much, but they will be back. God willing.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.
