This is the NEW BUS we have been working on, painting and making it look great.

My plain for this bus was to let it sit for another day. Just to make sure the clear coat is dry. Plus during the day, take all the tape and paper off and do some touch up on what ever I missed or even the students missed. I say that because when they put the paper on with the the tape, they really taped every thing up. So I know we have some misses.
Okay now this morning, Eric was getting the Solar Bus ready to drive and pick up a school to bring back to the ALC. While he was trying to start it, it just went dead after starting. So I took the fuel filter off and checked to see if there was any diesel in there or even water. It looked great, No problems I could see. So I tried to bleed the fuel lines a little. Still not running.
Okay now WHAT, the Ocean Bus was still gone, took James Madison Collage students to where they were doing ministry work. I had the Jungle Bus down, remember the brake was not working? So all we had was the NEW ALC Bus. I really didn't have to much of a chose. So I went inside the classroom, where we do our devotion time at 8:30am. I went in and asked for four people to help me. I told them to climb in the back of my truck and come with me. We got back over to the ALC Camp. That is where we have been dong the painting over there, out of the way. So I told everyone to start taking all the paper and tape off. We need this bus on the road NOW. So they all pitched and got the job some what done. Now there was still paper and tape on some of the areas, but you could drive it any way. Eric took off and we all got back to the ALC. Dr. Bob, Tim and I looked at the Solar bus again. I just started loosing the injector nuts and asked Dr. Bob to try to start is. It was trying but still not there yet. I kept on opening and closing the nuts. It started up and runs great again.
The video you see above is the children coming off the bus the first time. You can see the tape on the mirrors and even on the lights above.
Okay now I want my ALC Bus back and I will finish we started, touch up and getting the rest of the tape and paper off. We left to get some food for lunch and the ALC bus went back out. My mistake, I didn't tell Eric that the Solar Bus was back up. So after he got back the ALC Bus back, I had Elton finish taking the tape and paper off. Tomorrow I hope I can do the touch up.

It really neat to watch our new school being built right here on the same property that the old school is standing.

This was the first part of putting up the walls (Oct. 29th) at our NEW WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL. Our Principal, Mr. Alfonso tells us that all of...
