All right you can see how fast we are moving.

Okay first of all, this guy you see in these pictures is Andy Howell, he is from Canada and a good friend of Bob and Faye's. If you have been checking the blog out, he has been here since Tuesday night. This guy can weld. My main job is to keep both Dr. Bob and him happy. So when I can I cut up the steel that is small enough to use the chop saw. The next job I have is to make sure they have all they need to do the job. So for the last couple of days I have had to go out and buy more oxygen and welding sticks plus. It has kept me hopping. Like I said before I am one day behind with pictures, but looking at it last night we really are moving a lot faster than I thought by now. The main thing now is to get the axes sand basted. I have been to the shop to drop them off, but the guy that over sees that is on another island until Monday. So I guess I will have to wait until then. It really has been a joy to have a guy like Andy around here, he loves to joke around and just has fun too. My biggest problem is to keep up with his welding. Boy this guy just flies through and doesn't look back at all. Today Saturday we really hope to have it pretty much done. Except putting the axes in. We talked last night and Dr. Bob and him believe we can finish this up today. So by noon today, we will be able to breath a relief.
As the day wines down, hope Andy will be able to see our Gran Canyon movie. Today we have around 30 people signed up to see the 2:30pm showing. But let us not give up yet, there will be others walking in and asking if they can see it too. Folks this movie we are trying to show is about how the canyon is drying up and what will happen if it does. Robert Redford is the one telling the story about a young couple and how they lived there all their lives to see what it has become, today.

It really neat to watch our new school being built right here on the same property that the old school is standing.

This was the first part of putting up the walls (Oct. 29th) at our NEW WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL. Our Principal, Mr. Alfonso tells us that all of...
