Uncle Randy is back in town

That right folks Uncle Randy came into town last Saturday. While here he has brought 30 students with him and his wife, Kim. During there time here, they have been visiting different schools and even went to the All Saints Camp yesterday. Their main reason for coming was to give these kids a idea on what it is like to live on another island. You know USA is a BIG island, right? Okay so even after their visits they all come back to help us out here at the ALC. They have been painting the cottage B. That is the one that our staff are staying in. (girls) I will share pictures of that later on.
Okay what is Uncle Randy sharing here? It is about the Global  Trend. it all comes down, what is happening in this world? He talked to us about how there are more people being persecuted today than ever before. Just because of their believes. Then what is going on with our children these days, they can't read after leaving school. How do we get to share the Gospel with them? Using videos, Facebook and what ever else they use to see. Folks we are in the age of smart phones, computers and what ever else there is away to communicate with other people. It is crazy how even in the poorest countries they all have smart phones.
There was a lot more he shared about, slavery too. They say there are more people in slavery these days, then ever before too.
My question is, Are we as Christians sharing His Word to the world? I know OM is doing their part.
Uncle Randy and his family have been part of OM Operation Mobilize. It has been 7 years plus since him and his family have been their lives. They lived on the ship for two years, Logos Hope. Now they work out the office in Florance, South Carolina. I think it is their main office now? But getting back to why Uncle Randy, well back many years goes, he use to go into the schools here and do teaching and puppet shows and what ever else to get the children to listen about Jesus. I guess one time someone called him Pastor Randy, he just said, PLEASE call me Uncle Randy. Now if you don't know this by now, Randy and Kim are the ones that started the ALC. They came over here from the states to live and share God's Word and love with the Bahamian children and others that would listen. They are still part of ALC, but now they have OM to really help out with now. So please if you think of they at any time, please say a prayer or two for them an all they do for O.M.

It really neat to watch our new school being built right here on the same property that the old school is standing.

This was the first part of putting up the walls (Oct. 29th) at our NEW WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL. Our Principal, Mr. Alfonso tells us that all of...
