Yes I have heat again.

I have been jerking around with this air conditioner/heater. When I first moved in a was having some trouble with the blower kicking on. I would play with it and it would start working again. Then I would keep it off until I needed and sometimes it would work, but most of the time it didn't. So I would go with out the air during the summer time. no biggie. I even got use to the idea of saving money on the power bill. Hey in Dec my bill was only $30. something. That is a great thing. 

But this last week it has been really chilly around here. You know going down in the 40's So I kept trying different things, it would work. Then some nights not all. I called in a guy that does work in the park here. he came out and it worked for him. Then I called him out again, same problem it works. He only charged me one time fee.

Then I called a guy from our Men's Bible study on Monday nights. He came out and it worked for him. Okay this is crazy. He told me to try replacing the thermostat. It worked for a day or so. Then stopped. I changed out the wire going to the thermostat back the unit A/C. 

Okay enough I took the blower motor out and took to a part house. They would not sell me a motor. But they did some research an found out my motor is covered bu the warranty. 

Okay you can see the guy above replacing it. It works. 

Now last night it got down in the 30's praise God I have heat again. It ran all night long with no heck ups. Thank you Lord. .

Taking a stole along Vero Beach board walk.

Not sure what year this Vet is? But she sure is pretty. The red interior matching the calibrators on the brakes. 

Vero Beach is getting fixed up again.

A couplle of days before this came out. Roy and I were down at Vero Beach and saw guys working there replacing boards and even bring in more sand. I saw this article and thought about the work we saw down there a few days before. 

Hey this board walk had some damage from the Hurricane Matthew, I think in Sept of last year? 

It sure is a beautiful beach and during the early morning there are some walkers out there. This day it was a little chilly out. But still beautiful.

If you look, you can see the crane loading up the sand to drive north to refill the northern area. 

Just a note, this next week my work schedule is changing. I have been working 6 pm to 11 pm. Three nights. Starting Friday. I will be going in at 4 AM to 10 AM. So if you think if you think of me, Please say a prayer or TWO. That is early, but I thinking more hours. 

Like I said I have been averaging around 15 hours. Now I will get more than 24 plus.Not sure if the old body will be able to get up and work that long. Hey I told them I will give it a shot and see what happens.  

Party time. Ribs for $9.99 How can you go wrong?

Hey on Monday during the day and night this place Called Cowboy's has ribs for $9.99, for all you can eat. So Roy,Pat and myself went out this last Monday and had a full of ribs.

I have been here for the Wednesday special of Cat fish for $9.99 all you can eat.

The food has been good too. 

This be the party after the wedding.

This is called the 2nd Street Bistro Tap House. As you walk in look around, this place is happening. We had our own room. It was very nicely set up and ready to party. 

This is the lovely couple now. Stephanie and DEREK, The reason for the caps is. I made a Big Mistake yesterday on the blog. I called him Darrel. maybe that is why when I called his name that night, he keep on walking. I didn't do that. 

So please forgive me for the name. Oh  I goofed on the picture, him and his sister too. That really was his mom. 

Hey I am a old guy. No there was no reason I should of not known his name. I had dinner at Janice's home just before Christmas. 

SORRY about that. 

You can sure see the love they have for each other.

You can see on the wall in the back. They had a slide show of pictures of what and different places they have visited since they meet a year ago. It really was a nice touch to see more about their lives. 

Now the cutting of the cake. They both where very gentile and ate it like normal people. I have been to wedding where they smash into each other mouths and there is a big mess. They did good. 

Here is when Derek's folks welcoming her into the family. Hey his dad took over 500 pictures of this wedding. The reason I say that is. I was talking with him and asked how it was going with the pictures. he showed me at the water edge he had taken 474 pictures, up to that point. 

Folks this was a very nice and well done wedding and reception. we were there for over 3 hours. The food was good and it looked like everyone had a wonderful time. It was done well. 

On Saturday afternoon, I went to a wedding.

The ladies were putting up the decorations for the wedding ceremony. 

Now we wait for the bride. She was running a couple of minutes later. But it was a time to get to know each other. Sad part is I only remember a couple of peoples names. 

This is Derek and one of his mom. 

This is the bride and her mom. Stephanie and Janice. Her mom was some what nervous. But it all went well. I guess I was Janice's date for the wedding. I meet her before Christmas and have dome different things with her. You know just hang out and talk and eat and talk some more. 

I meet her at Archie's. They have church there each Sunday morning at 9 am. 

This is the time when the Pastor Craig asked who is giving their child away for marriage. Both parents sides came up and said they do. 

Here they are exchanging vows. Both of them did well. No one passed out. It was a beautiful day. The temp was around 75 and the breeze was wonderful. Right on the Indian River bank and boats going by and just a great day. 

I give you Stephanie and Derek. They are married. 

This is Janice and her dad Cliff. I think she told me he is 92 years old? He still drives. He was telling me in May of this year he has to retake his driver license. He was telling me he might not renew it? 

This is Stephanie family side. I am sorry I know a couple of their names but not all. 

Okay grand daughter, grand son, sister and her hubby. Cliff, Janice her Janice sister and her hubby. 

This is Derek's side of the family. Don't remember any of their names at all. Sorry. 

Janice was telling me since these two have been dating they come down here all the time and just walk around and enjoy the view. So from here we all went over to this restaurant and hung out for a while there. I will share those pictures tomorrow. 

Going down to the Jetty.

If you look your can see a Manatee (Sea Cow) he or she is just hanging out and eating the sea weed along the bottom of the ocean. This is at the Jetty. 

This is the Manatee Centre don in Fort Pierce. As you walk around and look just looking at different things. 

Then as we walked in the parking lot I saw this art piece and if you look at it long enough it really is some neat things to see. how the artist did their work on welding and making it happen. 

It is funny I took this picture an just thought it was beautiful shot. 

But in tomorrows blog you will see I will be back here that same day (Saturday) for wedding.
