Well coming back to Fort Lauderdale.

This is driving on route 60. This road is only 27 miles long, but it is two lanes most of the way. I like to follow behind tractor trailers. They are most of the time going fast enough for me. Just driving at 65 miles a hour on two lanes. You never know what might happen?

I have not seen a full rainbow for many months, except one someone send me last month in picture form.

This is the turn pike. To me I think it is worth the toll, between Yeehaw Junction and Fort Pierce. This way I am driving east and south at the same time. Then I get on 95 and head south all the way home. No tolls.

Only problem is on 95 there is always traffic at rush hour. I know when I left Bonita's home I would hit this. But that is okay. I made it safely home.

If you have seen my blog for a the last couple of times. I talked about my last piece of fruit cake. Well folks I stopped by Costco and they are on sale. Now if I had a large freezer, I would have bought two of them? But one will do, until next year.
Well tonight is the NEW YEARS EVE TIME.
That means another year is passing by. I just pray that everyone looks on and can say thank you Lord for another year and I look forward in seeing all the neat things that will happen.
HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL.

This is our Christmas time together. I know we are a couple of days later. That is still okay.

This be Jon and Deb's home. It might look small but really is just right for them. They were telling me how they have been living there a for while now, 9 years or so.

This be her kitchen. Which looks pretty good to me. I took more pictures of the neighborhood, but as I was sending them I hit delete instead. Trying to do two things at once.

Okay the pictures from here down are form Greg's home. Okay the kids in the back ground are Tristan and Jacob. Then Amy Deb and Greg. We are waiting around for dinner.

Amy, Jon and Greg.

We had to use a couple of tables for eating at. So the boy and their grandma and mom ate together.

This is the guys table. Greg, Jon and Greg two. Greg is the hubby of Amy and these are two of his three children. Joey had to work that night.

Okay Greg and I drove to Auburndale, Fl. This be where Bonita lives. This was one of her Christmas toys when she was very young. He dances and just a cute toy to watch.

This is her Christmas Tree. She was telling us how the small pieces of crystals are for her mom's chandelier that hung in her house many years.
We hung out at Bonita's home for about two hours and then went out to lunch.

It was so nice to hang out together and have a wonderful time.

I was really surprise this picture even came out. I very blessed. Those guys all went back over to Largo last night. I spent the night here in Auburndale at Bonita's home.
I am sitting at McDonald's this morning(Wednesday)  and doing my blog and stuff. Later on after lunch I will be heading home.
Don't have to go over the Skyway Bridge today, Thank you Jesus.

My day hanging out with family.

Well we got up and had a wonderful breakfast and got going. Stopped at the club house where Greg lives. Shot some pool and walked away score 2/2. We had to get going to meet others for the day.

This is the club house and pool. It seems like a nice place. Never know what is in my future?
Folks I have a plan down the road, but I just want to make sure this is His plan. So as it is now I will keep seeking His will and see what is next.

We stopped by to pick up Deb and her hubby Jon. She is another cousin on mine. This is their office. for the last say 9 years or maybe more. They have been selling items on line. They started out with E Bay. Now they do that plus Amazon and I think just on line too.

The place they rent is very nice and well laid out. The office they use now is pretty much full of all kinds of items. Just one item that they just started selling on line is table covers. It is a surprise to hear how many of them they sell each day. But it pays the bills and Deb and Jon really enjoy what they do each day.

This is just one style table clothes. You can see how nice they look. I have asked for these in black and fit a 8 ft.x 24" tables. You know that is pretty much my job at Calvary. I move tables and most times everyone wants shirts on the table for looks. But when they use the tables most times they have coffee or something like that on it and almost every time there something spilled on it. That is why I am looking for something to protect the shirts. I really don't enjoy washing these shirts.

That right there is a Calvary Chapel right down the road from their homes and office. It was a walmart at one time. Their office is closed, on Mondays, I would like to walk around and check their place out. Maybe next time in town?

This is a great place eat. They have a salad bar plus all you can eat wings too. Plus there is a menu to pick from too. Very good and enjoyed the wings too.

This place is so neat. There are cars and parts and all kinds of things that have to do with cars and trucks and even motor cycles too. Really have some great tasting wings.

This might be my last piece for the year?

Fruit cake is going back into storage. I hope to go to Costco on Wednesday and buy one more? If you have ever had fruit cake and didn't like it? Maybe next year try one of theirs. I believe you will be delighted. Maybe even say this is good stuff.
Well I drove last night and made it here at my cousin's home in Largo, Florida, around 11 pm. No problems at all. Thank you for your prayers and the bridge was very dark and didn't see anything. So it was a very enjoyable ride.

On Christmas Day another wonderful day for ride.

I am heading south. This is the Commercial Blvd. Beach.

Not sure why the pier is closed. But I have walked on there many years ago. Maybe one day it will be reopened?

Still heading south on A1A. beautiful day for a ride and just enjoying the breezes in my face was worth the whole trip.

This is Fort Lauderdale beach. near Sunrise Blvd.

Heading back home now.

You can see the warning flags are out. Must have Rip Currents.

This is at Pompano Beach. There is a lot more folks hanging out here.

Riding west on Atlantic. I saw cars and people at Heavenly Pizza. I have been here many years ago while they were on US 1, Federal Highway. Now here, I ate here about, two months ago. Okay these guys are Christians? Why are they open on Christmas Day?
I stopped in and remember their deal for lunch. You get two pieces of pizza and a drink for $4.99. Okay I guess this is where I will have my Christmas Lunch. Everything else is closed. Even McDonald's. I walk in and see people some what dressed up. Thinking maybe they just got back form church? So I stood around for a little while, waiting for someone to say, may I help you? I guess they were busier than they planned? I asked if the lunch deal was happening today? No we are closed. Really. I guess they were having their own Christmas party with family and friends.
I got back home and made a ham dinner and it was a wonderful day.
Thank you Jesus for all you have given me and just thank you again.
Folks you can look at this and say, poor guy. Christmas alone? Not I enjoyed it to the fullest. I rode with Him and that alone is worth it.
I did have chance to go see Star Wars that afternoon. Which it was a great movie too. Saw it in 3 D.
It is funny, back when the fist one came out in 1977. I was married to Cheryl . I took my father and mother in laws to go see this movie. The sad part was I got lost and we didn't see the first part at all. Maybe 10 minutes or more, we didn't see. So for these many years. I really never understood the movie. So as I sat there and watched it. It all came back and NOW I understand the story line.
I will be leaving this afternoon to drive over to Largo, Florida.
\That is where some of my family live. So I will be up there until Tuesday and driving over to Winter Haven, Florida. There we will have lunch and all of us will just hang out for the day.
Please if you think of me tonight, I will be driving over the Skyline Bridge. I remember my last time. I was not a happy camper. the height is more than I like. the good thing is it will be dark by then and I should not see to much.
God bless and have a wonder day.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.

This restaurant in on Rt. 60 heading from 95 to downtown Vero Beach. Autumn's Crab .  Walked in and sat down. Really kind of quiet for b...
