Trying to save money but foolish.

Yes back when I first took over maintenance here. We use to use antifreeze mixture. It would be 60% water and 40% antifreeze. Well as time went by, I kept on buy antifreeze. The cost kept going up. We were paying around $24.00 a gallon here. So I started looking into other means. I found this stuff called Red Coolant. I asked around and pretty much guys were telling me this is good and you really don't need antifreeze here in the Bahamas. So started buying this Red Coolant. Great savings. This cost us $3.25 a gallon. Wow, what a savings. So I used it ever since. Now we have had a lot troubles with the buses, first have blown two head gaskets on two of them. Radiators started getting more holes in them. Just thinking they are getting older. So over these last couple of years, I sure saved a lot on the coolant but mean while destroying the buses at the same time. Scott as been here now for almost 4 months. I asked him to go on line and check and see what they say about my problems. I asked Bob too about this and he said we should use antifreeze. Pretty much each site he went to said the same. You need to use antifreeze in every vehicle. So I did some checking out here too. The radiator shops all said the same. Then went shopping for the prices. The prices really have not changed that much. Still good antifreeze cost around $24.00 a gallon. So think now, we have three buses and 8 vehicles. The buses take about 7 gallons each and each vehicle around 3 gallons each. Big bill. I went to a friend here on the island that over sees a parts house. I talked with him and he gave me a deal you would not believe? He sold me antifreeze, GOOD STUFF. For $8.50 a gallon. Now is my God BIG OR WHAT. I bought 20 gallons Monday and yesterday, Tim and I redid all three buses. This coming week I will change out the vehicles too. So PLEASE if you think you are saving money on NOT buying antifreeze. PLEASE think again.

This is one of our radiators that are in these buses below.

A letter to YOU FROM SATAN

I saw you yesterday as you began your daily chores.
You awoke without kneeling to pray. As a matter of fact, you didn't even bless your meals, or pray before going to bed last night. You are so unthankful, I like that about you.
I cannot tell you how glad I am that you have not changed your way of living, Fool, you are mine. Remember, you and I have been going steady for years, and I still don't love you yet.
As a matter of fact, I hate you, because I hate God.
He kicked me out of heaven, and I'm going to use you as long as possible to pay him back. You see, Fool, GOD LOVES YOU and HE has great plans in store for you. But you have yielded your life to me, and I'm going to make your life a living hell
That way, we'll be together twice. This will really hurt God.
Thanks to you, I'm really showing Him who's boss in your life with all of the good times we've had.
We have been...watching dirty movies, cursing people out, stealing, lying, being hypocritical, fornicating, overeating, telling dirty jokes, gossiping, being judgmental, back stabbing people, disrespecting adults, and those in leadership positions, no respect for the Church, bad attitudes. SURELY you don't want to give all this up.
Come on, Fool, let's burn together forever. I've got some hot plans for us. This is just a letter of appreciation from me to you. I'd like to say 'THANKS' for letting me use you for most of your foolish life.
You are so gullible, I laugh at you. When you are tempted to sin, you give in HA HA HA, you make me sick. Sin is beginning to take its toll on your life. You look 20 years older, and now, I need new blood... So go ahead and teach some children how to sin. All you have to do is smoke, get drunk or drink while under-aged, cheat, gamble, gossip, fornicate, and live being as selfish as possible. Do all of this in the presence of children and they will do it too. Kids are like that.
Well, Fool, I have to let you go for now. I'll be back in a couple of seconds to tempt you again. If you were smart, you
would run somewhere, confess your sins, and live for God with what little bit of life that you have left.
It's not my nature to warn anyone, but to be your age and still
sinning, it's becoming a bit ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I still hate you.
IT'S JUST THAT YOU'D MAKE A BETTER FOOL FOR CHRIST.

Do you really understand time?

I sure don't. Last night we had another Singles dinner. We meet at the Twin Brothers at place called Arawak Cay (fish fry). There is two (2) Twin Brothers now at this location. They are four doors down from each other. It was a great turn out. Michelle brought two new girls. Harold invited two more. So last night was a full house. First Jennifer came and left, She was helping out her kids with baby sitting, Tanya and Rudy came and stayed a little while. So our table was really full at one point then we had to use another booth. We all pretty much had the Crack Conch and two side orders. We sat there from 7pm to 10pm. So we got our moneys worth of the table. The only ting I didn't like was, I could not talk to each person. The table was tight and pretty much no one could move around to talk. So you had to sit next to the same person pretty much all night. So after then we took a walk along the beach. Now that was peaceful and even enjoyable. The breeze was coming from the North and the moon was 3/4. There was three ships in port. Then one of them left, so we saw them turn around and leave the port. It really was a good night.
Before we got our table I walked by a table and hear my name. It was Marcia, plus a a young couple. I am sorry but I have forgot their names. She came out to see what our Singles is all about. Plus they ate there too.

I know it is so hard to beleive that we had another Single' Dinner last night.

Choos to TRUST IN HIM, GOD

TODAY'SCRIPTURE
"Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust…"(Psalm 40:4, NIV)
Is your trust in the Lord today? Trusting in the Lord is a decision we make just like we choose anything else in life. You chose what to wear today, you probably chose what you would have for breakfast, and you can choose to trust God today, too! And just like the decision to receive salvation, when you choose to trust God, there
is a peace that settles on the inside of your heart. There are blessings
in store for you when you trust Him. No matter what you are facing in life today, you can have faith that God will come through for you. You can trust that
His Word is always true. In Psalm 32, David calls God his "hiding
place." In other words, not only can you choose to trust God in the
midst of your difficulty; you can actually hide in Him and find rest for
your soul. When the circumstances of life seem to be overwhelming,
choose to trust that God is ordering your steps. Find security in Him
knowing that He's making your crooked places straight and leading you
into the everlasting life He has prepared for you!

Father in heaven, today I choose to put my trust in You. I know You are a good
and faithful God, and I trust that You have my best interest at heart.
Help me stay focused on Your goodness today. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

I would like to share about a friend.

Her name is Becky. I have known her now for about 4 years. Back then, 4 years ago, I was doing my income taxes paper work. I went on line and use a site that told me it was free and at the end it told me that I didn't owe any money. I said great. I flew over to Fort Lauderdale, Fl, for a time to raise funds. I went to the Calvary Thrift, just to look around the store and started talking with this woman named Becky that helps out there each Thursday. She was telling me that everyone needs to file and every one will pay for something. So I asked her if she would look at my paper work and she told me yes. So I drove over to her home and showed her all I had. She told me that she would look at and let know what she thought. I went back to the Bahamas, she e mailed me and told me I need to pay out a big amount. I told her send me the paper work and I will do what she as told me. Ever since then she has been my tax woman. I have been so blessed to have some I can trust and she has blessed me with her time.

This is my buddy BOB

I have some sad news to share.

This last Tuesday afternoon, I took my two friends to the airport. Yes Bob and Faye have left Nassau. Just to give you a up date on them, they came here back in Oct (I think) they stayed here up to Christmas time. Then flew back home in Canada. Then flew back here in January and have been here ever since. But their time has come to a close. It really was a great time while they were here. I know I miss them as I write. But they have family up in Canada and this is their time to go visit them, during the Summer time. I know during the Winter it would not be a good time to visit them. You know the snow and cold weather then the SNOW too. I just want to say thank you very much for being my friend and Bob for always willing to get the job done. I can tell you this, if I had my way (a couple of times) we would not have the train or even some other things there. The reason is Bob told me YES we can fix that. I told him WHY? He said come on lets us fix and make it run again. He really was a guy that I needed around me to push and say YES WE CAN. So Bob I just want you to know how much you help in so many ways. Thank you again. I am sorry for making this short but I have a staff meeting I need to get to.

Give God Your Hurts, Rick Warren

If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done. Matthew 6:14-15 (TEV)

"If somebody hurt you, let go of it, release them. That's one of the values of prayer. It helps you unload."In your life, you will be hurt by others; sometimes intentionally; sometimes unintentionally. How you handle that hurt determines your happiness.
When you bottle up hurt in your life and hold onto it - that is called resentment. If somebody hurt you years ago and you're still holding onto it, it will poison your life. For your own health and happiness, you must learn to forgive.

The Bible says forgive and be forgiven. In fact, Jesus says "if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done." (Matthew 6:15, TEV) They're inter-related.

It reminds me of the story - when someone told John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, "I just can't forgive that person! They hurt me too badly." Wesley's response was, "Then I hope you never sin."

For your own sake, let go of the past. If somebody hurt you, let go of it, release them. That's one of the values of prayer. It helps you unload. Forgiveness is the only way to get rid of the past. Forgive them and let it go. Get on with life. Forgiveness erases the videotape of that hurt memory that keeps playing over and over in your mind.

In my own marriage, the times I've felt closest to Kay, the times of most intimacy and oneness, have been times after a major blow-up. We've worked the thing through; we've both confessed to each other and asked forgiveness; and then we pray together. The oneness that comes out of that kind of experience just can't be explained.

When we let go of our hurts and forgive others we are reflecting the grace of our heavenly Father, who forgave us and continues to forgive us. It means we've given God our love; we've given God our lives; and, in doing that, we worship God.

Just want to give every one a up date.

Yes since Good Friday I have been under the weather. You know the hersey squirts. During that time laying around and resting, it is 150 pace walk to get to the bathroom. So you can just image how many times I made it there or not. I even called Doctor Rinder office to see if there is any thing I can do to get rit of it? Just said, drink water and rest. It will pass. It sure did, It pass and then it passed again.
Okay I am back into my mood. Right now as I speak to you, we have three vehicle down. Pastor Chet's Ford, the Jeep that the staff use. Plus a World bus too. Pastor Chet's Ford had a main oil leak, needed to get parts this last Saturday. Got them after going to almost every auto part store on this island, even went to the Ford dealer. AID had the part and that was my last stop to try. I really don't like using AID, Napa. The reason is their prices are so high. But I can tell you this, they usually have the part. The Jeep has a blown head gasket. Took the head down to Sawyer's machine shop. Looks good now. The world bus had a radiator leak, bad one. I will pick that up this morning. I am hopeful and pray that today all three vehicle will be back on the road.

I was following this truck for while.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.
