Not sure about you, but when ever I buy a store brand.

I am thinking some one had to make this for them. So I say why spend the extra money on the name brand?

Well I can tell you this. Buying tooth brushes is a little different. I went out and bought the store brand. After about a week or so, not good at all. So I spent the extra $2.00 on the name brand. Which I really am happy I did now. So when you think like I do. Some times spend the extra buck or so and be happier.

I had a physical yesterday

It really went well. The only problem is I am shrinking. That right I messaged my self and I am NOW 5 feet 6 1/2 inches. As a young man I use to be 5 feet 8 inches, maybe even 1/2 inch more.
Good new weight is going down to 207# When I first came back in June last year I was at 225 #
I do have one more problem, a hernia. The doctor told me that it is my choose to get it repaired or not. As it is now, I just need to be smart on lifting heavy stuff. He knows what I do for a living at Calvary. Moving furniture and stuff here and there. I just need to be smarter and not over do it.

Okay I bit the bullet.

This has been on sale now for about a month. Every time I am in Costco I stop by here and say Lord, what do You think? Then walk away and say maybe next time. Well on Saturday I walked in and said what do You think? I just bought it.

Got it home and started reading the manuals and all that comes with it. Boy they sure want to make sure you know about your body and what can help your body fight off stuff.
I made myself a strawberry/berry smoothie. It sure didn't taste the same as the ones you buy other places. Oh they use sugar I guess to sweeten it up a little? It was filling and I was full for the night.
Now the only problem is to keep doing it. The frozen fruit at Costco cost some funds too. At the end of the day I spent $100.00 on the fruit and the machine. Prayerfully I will keep using it and maybe get some more energy.

We made it through another event here at Calvary.

Friday the guys were hanging the signs up for the Community Event.

This is inside of the Commons. We took all the chairs and tables out and Bill and his crew filled it up with furniture and stuff.

These are a couple of shot from one of our bridges. This was after our first service of the day. I knew the next one I would never have time to take more pictures.
Hey it went well and I believe everyone had a wonderful time. Folks it was a lot of work to make all this happen. But in the end it was worth every bit. I was blessed to have off on Saturday for the big set up. But yesterday I had the chance to break it down. It really went well. Bill and his crew did a lot of the break down. I pretty much broke down the tables and put them away.
Today Josh and I will be putting the furniture back into the correct areas and prayerfully do it right.
I am very blessed to cal this place my church and my job.

This happen Friday afternoon.

These guys are waiting behind the pole. The reason is one of them will be asking a young lady to go to Prom.

I think she was surprised?

His friend was running around them with a blow up dolphin. I didn't get to see the whole story, But I know she said yes.

When everything was done. They all did a good job of helping him out with this. Good team work.

Took a wonderful bike ride yesterday.

I saw the signs about the Pompano Beach Seafood Festival. I got there and it cost money to walk around and buy food. Not for me. I rode around there a little. then headed south on A1A. Rode to Oakland Park and went back over the Inter Coastal. Took US1 north. Just rode down there and back. Plus a couple of stops. hey I saw Mike, one of the Cub Scout leaders at Publix at Sea Grape Plaza. They were selling tickets for a fund raiser. It sure funny how so many people down here, you can run into someone you know. It really was a relaxing ride, no pressure to get some where and back. Just enjoyed it. On the way back I did see a lot of clouds coming in. Rain is on it way. Got home and no rain at all.

At the end I got home and took a little nap and then it was time for church.

This is our Community Week-end here at Calvary Chapel.

This is something they do each year to try to get the body of Christ into joining a group of some type. Example, Cancer Care, they meet each Thursday night and have someone do a little devotion and then if any one wants to share about what they are going through. Have that chance. There is always a prayer time too.  Before I left for the Bahamas, I was very much going to different support groups meetings and just getting to know different people of all kinds. This is how our church so big makes it a lot smaller. Most of the groups have about 10 to 20 people. So you really do get a chance to know someone personally. I have taken the leadership class, now I need to find a home or even my own to start a Bible study.

This is ice cream, not really. It is called Dots. it has a neat taste.

I just love watching little ones, these two are trying to caught the bubbles. It really is neat to see, how much fun they have for those few minutes.

One day, when I was a freshman in high school. Not me personally.

I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school.

His name was Kyle.

It looked like he was carrying all of his books.

I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday?

He must really be a nerd.'

I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged
my shoulders and went on.

As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him.

They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt.

His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him...

He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes     .

My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.

As I handed him his glasses, I said, 'Those guys are jerks.'

They really should get lives.

' He looked at me and said, 'Hey thanks!'

There was a big smile on his face.

It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.

I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived.

As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before.

He said he had gone to private school before now.

I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.

We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books.

He turned out to be a pretty cool kid.

I asked him if he wanted to play a little football
with my friends.
He said yes.

We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know
Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.

Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again.

I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!

' He just laughed and handed me half the books.

Over the next four years,Kyle and I became best friends.

When we were seniors we began to think about college.

Kyle decided on
Georgetown and I was going to Duke.

I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never
be a problem.

He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship.

Kyle was valedictorian of our class.

I teased him all the time about being a nerd.

He had to prepare a speech for graduation.

I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak.

Graduation day, I saw Kyle.

He looked great.

He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school.

He filled out and actually looked good in glasses.

He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him.

Boy, sometimes I was jealous!

Today was one of those days.

I could see that he was nervous about his speech.

So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!'

He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled....

' Thanks,' he said.

As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began     ...

'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years.

Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends....

I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them.

I am going to tell you a story.'

I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the first day we met.

He had planned to kill himself over the weekend.

He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.

He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.

'Thankfully, I was saved.

My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable.'

I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment.

I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile.

Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.

Never underestimate the power of your actions.

With one small gesture you can change a person's life.

For better or for worse.

You now have two choices, you can:

1) Pass this on to your friends or

2) Delete it and act like it didn't touch your heart.

As you can see, I took choice number 1.

'Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.'

There is no beginning or end. Yesterday is history.

Tomorrow is a mystery.

Today is a gift.

It's National Friendship Week. Show your friends how much you care. Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND.

If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of friends.
Thank you Walter and I really understand what this is all about.

On the third Friday of every month, have a Men's Bible study

As our day started out, had praise and worship. These men are really getting into it.

The guy that over sees this ministry is Mike. Now the guy right along side of him is Jon. Jon had a chance yesterday to share his story. Which was very interesting. I could relate to how he use to live and all the stuff he did. As I listen I heard about how our Lord is gracious and forgiving. It is some thing to think about. What am I dealing with these days? Sad to say I have issues just like each and everyone of us. The question comes down, how do you deal with them?
Sometimes I love to jump in and say I will be okay. Then look back and say wait a minute? What in the world am I doing?
I only  have one answer, that is Jesus Christ is our Savor and He is right a long side of you. Ask Him for that help. I need to each day I breath.

CCA is doing Into The Woods.

I had a chance a couple of nights ago to just hang out and watch the students practise their lines and acting. I know the pictures are not that great. One day I will buy a better phone camera. As I stood there I was listening and they really were doing a good job. I have seen the movie two or three times and as they were going through their lines I really could see how close they are to the movie itself.
Tonight is opening and I know this place will be packed.

Have ever thought WHY?

Bad day

Man: God, can I ask You a question?

God: Sure

Man: Promise You won't get mad .

God: I promise

Man: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?

God: What do u mean?

Man: Well, I woke up late

God: Yes

Man: My car took forever to start

God: Okay

Man: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait

God: Hmm

Man: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call

God: All right

Man: And on top of it all, when I got home I just wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! I Did you do that?

Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that .

Man (humbled): OH

GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

Man: (ashamed)

God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work.

Man (embarrassed): Okay

God: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

Man (softly): I see God

God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.

Man: I'm Sorry God

God: Don't be sorry, just learn to Trust Me.. in All things , the Good & the bad.

Man: I will trust You.

God: And don't doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.

Man: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.

God: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and looking after My Children.

To the reader:

I'm sorry to disturb you! My name is God. You hardly have time for me. I love you and always bless you. I am always with you. I need you to spend 30 minutes of your time with Me today. Don't pray. Just chat. Today I want this message across the world before midnight. Will you help?

Please do not ignore it and I'll help you with something that you are in need of. Just dare Me! A blessing is coming your way. Please drop everything & pass it on.
Thank you

Hello all, I received this from a good friend of mine,Walter.  I love sharing stories and just things like this. The reason is I do believe our Lord has our backs'and we need to spend time with Him and share what He has shown us. So when you have your next bad day, just thank Him afterwards.

These two folks our part of my family.

Debbie (cousin)and Jon (hubby). I had a chance last night to take a ride with them and then go to Olive Garden in Coral Springs. Hey the meal below was great. It is one of their specials. $11.99 It hit the spot.

After we pretty much closed the place. I went back to their hotel and sat around and got some what caught up on all that has been going on in their lives and mine. They live in the Tampa area, Largo. They had a chance to come down here and go to a trade show that is happening in Miami Convention Centre, today. Plus they were to meet a old friend and her family down this way. But I guess the trip never happen on their end. But I had a wonderful time spending it with them and I will get to do some more tonight after the trade show.
As we sat around talking and just hanging out, I found out I have some what pushed my family away from Christ in the pass. My passion for my family has been on my heart for many years. As we come together as family I am thinking maybe this is the last time I will be able to share about Christ. But I was reminded last night, it is not I that bring people to Christ, it is The Holy Spirit. So as I'm writing  this today, I do apologize to all of you that I have hurt or pushed. Please forgive me. I am here to help in any way possible and love you for who you are.

I am very blessed to be able to see these beautiful cars and just look at them.

This is a 2014 Viper. She is sure pretty.

This engine is 8.7 L. Now that is wow engine.

The funny thing is I know the guy that owns this car. He is down to earth and really just enjoys a nice car. I had a chance on Saturday night to take a closer look at it. If you look, you will not see him in the pictures. There is a reason is he is proud to say this is his but, it really is not his god. I was asking him about, if someone scratch it? He said it would up set him, but it will all burn at the end,

These two other cars were in our parking lot yesterday. I can say they sure have good taste.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.

This restaurant in on Rt. 60 heading from 95 to downtown Vero Beach. Autumn's Crab .  Walked in and sat down. Really kind of quiet for b...
