Kind of a neat head lines, in our little town Fort Pierce?

Hey not sure about you guys, but I have always thought this would be a good idea. But as I am a Christian, some folks would think different.
Back in the 70's I lived in Ann Arbor, Mich. During that time it was a $5.00 fine if you got caught smoking weed on the campus area. I think every night I got high. My room mates always has some in the apartment to smoke.
Not sure where you stand on it. I think this a good thing.
But we all have our own rules and ideas.

Okay changing the subject totally, this is Christmas Eve Eve and Eve (Tuesday Night)
Jeanne needs some more supplies for making Christmas cookies and things.
She was saying let us go to Winn -Dixie. That really is not the normal answer she would have said.
Maybe Publix and even Walmart. But not Winn -Dixie. Oh well I am game.
As we were pulling into the shopping center, she started singing JOY TO THE WORLD. Thinking what is she trying to say?? Then we got out of the car and started walking towards Winn- Dixie. I was saying maybe we can buy some ice cream??? She just laugh. As we were walking out of the store she said where are you going? I said to the car. NO SILLY.
JOY ICE CREAM IN CALLING US.

We got a cherry and vanilla ice cream sundae, with fudge syrup. It was soooooo GOOD.
We shared and finished it up and very have happy now.
Okay folks I know Christmas Day is over. But I still have to get caught up.

I really hope and pray you all had a wonderful Christmas Day. I know we did.

Well I went under the knife on Tuesday morning

I have been trying to get my right knee feeling better, for over a couple of years now.
While I was playing tennis swimming and doing all kinds of things. My right knee has been hurting.
I went and had three chordzone and steroids shots. Then I tried (don't know the name) pig guts shots. (3) three of them. They helped for about a month, But the pain keeps coming back. I knew one of these days I would need a replacement. I guess today is the day???
Jeanne brought me and was with me as much as she could be,

Just comparing knee sizes. One on the left is bone on bone inside of the knee cap area.

They are making me pretty for the doctor. I guess I was under the knife for two (2) half hours.

It really is amazing thing they do these days.

I guess I was in recovery at this time. I don't remember this picture.

Right after I got into my room I wa told to stand up. Which I did. I even walked around the room a little.

I remember this coffee was so good. The crackers too. Remember when you get a operation of any kind, Fasting is always there.

Then for dinner I got this. My doctor came in Dr. Stanton came in to see how I was doing.
He explained all he did and what he wants me to do next.
That night I was asked to walk around. Which I did. My therapist (Tom) had me walk from one end of the hall way to the other end with a walker. I slept pretty good, I think? I was under some good drugs, I guess?
The next morning, Tom came back in and had a cane for me to try that out. He showed me how to use it. He told me to use the cane on the same side the bad knee is. I walked up and down the hallway.
Okay NOW I am home now and doing pretty good.

Well I was surprised on Thursday night (My birthday) The kids came over and we had a nice piece of cake. I am loved.
During the week-end I walked around a long and kept trying to  get better.

Jeanne and I have been out shopping at different stores. I did walk to much on Saturday and Sunday.
On Monday my therapist (Guy) came to visit at the house.
He asked me to walk with the cane to show him how I am doing.
He told me I was doing it WRONG. The cane should be on the opposite of the bad knee.
Thinking I was showed just the opposite at the hospital ????
On Tuesday I stayed home and used the ice and did as I was told..
Jeanne went out an shopped all day long. Now it is Wednesday morning.  I am staying home and doing the right things to get walking again.  Jeanne is out shopping again. plus other things she want to get done before Christmas.
Folks my prayer is going well on your end and really am looking forward in playing tennis again one day.
Hey all, CHRISTMAS is almost HERE!!!!!
Remember the reason for the season= JESUS CHRIST.
Please pray for our nation and look forward in seeing all His has planned for 2021

Well I guess today is the one?

Okay today is Monday the 14th of Dec. The reason I saying all of this is, it is our Special Day.
Why is this day SPECIAL? Well two years ago, Jeanne and I went out on our first date. Dec. 17th. She took me out for my birthday. We drove over to the Square Grouper on Hutchinson Island.  As we have been living together now for over a year, I need to make things right with Our Lord and her. So we went out for dinner at the Peking Chinese Restaurant in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Now I would have liked to do it on  the 17th of Dec. But as it is all set, on Tuesday, next day. I will be getting a Total Knee Replacement, so I will not be able to bend my right knee at all.

This is the wedding band, engagement ring. Jeanne really doesn't wear much jewelry. Plus we have looked at different rings. She told me that she wants a ring that food will not get stuck in. Knowing she is a culinary teacher, she will be working with different food with her hands. So she asked for something without prongs. So I found this ring and fell in love with it.
Prayerfully she will too.

I know we both have put on many pounds of food in our bodies and we can see that. But for now I just want her to know I want to marry her and with that in mind we will set a date down the road.
Now I need to get ready for my procedure on my knee.
Please let us all lift up each other this Christmas Time to have His peace and Love for others.
I know as I am writing this today, 6 days after my surgery, my knee is sore and just not feeling great.
Please say a prayer for me. Thank you very much. Love you all.

All these pictures happen in three week or so?

Okay right after Thanksgivings we were told that we have been in contact with one of her nieces that was tested for Coivd -19. We didn't have any problems, like coughs, sour throats, nothing wrong was  us. But as Jeanne works at a high school she will be out for two weeks or so. So she will be working from home. We did get tested three days later. No problems at all. She has to stay our for ad least two weeks.
Okay we get to do some work together. A couple of her classes were to make cupcakes and the otheres making cakes. She had a lot of fun doing here at home.

Plus doing classes on line too. It really wasn't much fun with doing all of this. But we made it.

I had  couple of projects to get done too. So I cleaned out the flower beds and put down plastic sheeting. I could not finish this up until we got the small trees pulled out. Which we needed up doing ourselves. Her sister was suppose to dig them out, Jeanne was afraid we might hurt the roots.

The sad part is we ended up digging them up anyway. Put them in a pail out front. her sister never did come to collect them. She did have her hubby pick up some of the other flowers that were dug up.

We bought theses chairs back while we were in Georgia. I think we paid $75.00 for the pair.
Okay she has been wanting these chairs and some others coat coated. I did some shopping around. One place wanted $170.00. I went back not open. I found another powered coating guy, he wants $150.00, plus sand blasting. At the end they will cost a little more than $200.00 So I took them to another sand blasting company. He charged me $40.00 for both of them and that was just sand blasting them off. I thinking get them back home and spray paint them and all is well. this is one of her gifts.

The guy told me to buy this kind a of primer. It is the best.

Okay I got them back and sprayed painted them. Not looking to good after a couple of days out in the rain. I got a hold of the guy that gave me a price for $170.00 Powered coating. He would have to sand blast them again and coat them. I told him just give me a call when done.

Hey I worked on the flooring in the kitchen too during this time too. Okay I think this is the week of Dec5 to the 6th. We had a wonderful steak dinner and all is well. This week coming crazy things happening.
Starting out on Monday, Jeanne went back to work. I went out and did some shopping (Christmas)
Plus I bought her something very special too.
You will see that this next week ahead.
Praise Him and keep our family in prayer. Everyone wants to have Christmas Dinner and what ever else we can do.

Should be a piece of cake flooring???

Okay in the kitchen we have a vinyl floor. Jeanne would love to just replace that. But as I explained to her. Not that easy. So I talked her into the next best. laminate flooring. So we went shopping  around. You know Home Deport, Lowes and even Floor and Decor. Jeanne found something she liked. It was on Clearance. So the price was pretty good too. $3,78 a sq ft. Bought all that they had. Even their samples. Just to make sure we have enough.

Okay, she would like us to cut it the same as the vinyl is. I just thought we could cut across to the end of the wall and put in a straight pieces. No she wants it the same as it was before.

So she told me that she would make that piece up, great. So she worked on it an worked on it, with my help too. Got is just right. Now we can just start laying the panels out and snapping them into place.
Had some trouble, with them. They would not stay in place. I got some Liquid Nails caulk. Ran a couple of beads along under the corner. Let it set up over night. Should be great.

We went out and bought a belt sander to trim down the ends that go under the medal strip between the carpet and flooring.

That should to the trick. Tried to snap in the first piece, got it in after a hour or so. Thinking the rest should be a piece of cake?
It just would not snap in correctly. It kept on moving around. The Liquid Nail didn't harden at all.
WHY??? NOT???
I worked on it the next day and still not snapping into place. OKAY THAT IS IT!!!!. I AM DONE!!.
So I told Jeanne and she told me to get all the pieces together. I am thinking just need the full boxes to take them back? I pulled up the ones that I glued down, easily. washed them off and stacked them in the trunk and loaded up the full boxes too.

Jeanne told me to take everything back, even the pieces I cut? I did and drove over to Floor and Decor. Talked with the manger, he was very nice and understanding. He gave back all our money on the flooring.
I was ticked pink. I did forget the trim pieces we bought then too. I drove back home and the next day I went back and they gave me all our money back.
I am so happy that I listened to Jeanne. Didn't lose any money on this flooring at all.
All I can say is. please support this place and they will treat you right.
I will be back after my knee surgery on (Dec 15th)
I know today is the 19th of Dec. and a lot of things have happen since that day, Dec 14th.
Pretty much everything that has happen as gone great. Explain down the road.

Okay these are the rest of the pictures from the Christmas Light show we went to, up in Melbourne, Florida.

You all know how much I enjoy sharing pictures, I am sad to say these didn't come out as good as I like. But you can get the jest of what we saw.
R.V. camper here.

This was a area set aside for vendors and folks that could sell their wears.
Hey we both got something to eat and just enjoy walking around seeing what they were selling.
Not to crowded either.

This was where some were selling jewelry, plus.

I think this is the best picture taken all night long.

These are Santa's reindeers. AFTERWARDS.

The poor guys look like I feel some days.

We are back at our car now.
It really was relaxing and enjoyable to walk around and see some very colorful light displays.
It was something for us to get into the Christmas Spirit.
I believe we are there.
Folks I know there are many people that are fearful about going out where others are. That to me is sad.
If we keep proclaiming we trust OUR LORD JESUS? Using COMMON SENSE.
Hey I am ready to see, His face and what ever happens. I know where I am going to, afterwards.
So folks lighten up and enjoy your lives. As this election is still going on. My prayer is, I need to believe more in Our Lord and just trust HIM NOW.
No one knows what the next day is coming!
SO ENJOY TODAY.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.
